About: Hi there! As a lifelong dog person, I have a lot of experience - I have cared for dogs weighing 8 to over 100lbs, and from 6 week old puppies to seniors. I am experienced in dogs with complex situations such as reactivity, fearfulness & timidness, and significant physical impairments. Currently, I own two rescue dogs - a 3 year old female German shepherd/malinois mix, and a 2 year old male Aussie who was born deaf & blind. So when I say the “hard to handle” pups are my speciality, I mean it! I would be happy to take your dog on a walk or local hike, to play outside with them, to work/train (my GSD/malinois girl requires regular scent work, agility, and intense variations on fetch to stay sane), or to simply give them affection. I don’t at all mind working with dogs that take time to win over, or that need extra TLC. All dogs are good dogs, and I can promise you that to me, they are all precious cargo - and will be handled as such in my care. I am a music teacher, and primarily work afternoons & evenings - so earlier in the day I have free time. I am also the mother of a young child, so am unavailable on weekends when he is home from school. I will adhere to strictly to instructions given (ie, your dog is crated or not, food allergies or sensitives to avoid, fears they have or the best ways to make them feel safe) and make sure above all else, they know I am someone they can look forward to seeing.

About: I’ve raised my own Golden Retriever since he was 8 weeks old, so I have real daily experience caring for a dog through every stage of growth and routine. About: I grew up with pets of all kinds, I have been a veterinary assistant for 3 years and have been pack-hiking with dogs full time for about 8 months now. I should be regularly available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons and evenings, and the occasional weekend. Those mornings and the other days, I work full time with dogs, either pack-hiking or doggy daycare. About: My entire life I have been raised alongside animals of all kinds, so I have a genuine passion for their care. It was always a responsibility of mine to help take care of our own at home pets as a kid, but eventually I moved up to helping out other family members, friends of family, neighbors, friends of friends, etc. with their pets while they were out working, on vacation, or just out on the town for the night. This included making sure pet was safe, happy, fed, relieved of any potty breaks, had constant access to water, and was enriched with plenty of play time and some treats! I'm currently available Sun-Mon, 9a-3p. I can make some exceptions here and there for different times during those days, just need more information of time and reason. There is a perfectly quiet and spacious dog park right here in my neighborhood. I do have a Dachshund and cat at home. Kitty is very friendly and playful with dogs XS-L, the menace of the house is the Dachshund. He is very temperamental with other dogs, but has never been aggressive.

“Giovanna did a wonderful job with our dogs. We had never done a rover sitter ( only rover dog walkers), and she was great. She has a safe yard for large or small dogs, Giovanna is very knowledgeable about dogs and had great ideas as to dietary changes. She took care of our 6 pound yorkie and our 60 pound retriever mix. She is awesome.”
