About: I bring a lifetime of experience in caring for animals and live on 10 acres of wooded pastures with 3 horses, dogs, cats, and a house rabbit. My personal pack of four rescue dogs get along well with any new dog I introduce to the family. I have been fostering dogs for a local rescue organization for several years, gaining hands-on experience with many breeds and ages of dogs. I specialize in puppy care and training and have successfully provided basic training and care for numerous foster dogs. I have experience caring for elderly dogs and am skilled in giving medication and insulin. This is an all inclusive experience for dogs! Here your dog will enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor playtime in my private dog park which offers a peaceful setting away from any traffic noise. This is true farm privacy with a ten acre buffer and plenty of natural enrichment including a natural creek, pond, and wooded pastures. Dogs will have opportunities to participate in activities like sniff walks, barn exploring, and pack walks. For puppies I keep them on a schedule for potty training, socializing, and naps. Additionally, I have a dedicated small dog area and small dogs get to enjoy couch time in the evenings! All activities are included for the boarding price. If you desire an exit bath before your dog goes home please let me know. 🐾 I enjoy working on agility training with one of my dogs who is very athletic and to expand my training knowledge, I continue to work with local dog trainers. Beyond my work with animals, I raised two children and dedicated 18 years to volunteering in our local school district, where I passed multiple background checks and supported various programs and events in schools and classrooms. My property is quiet and away from any traffic yet located just a mile from a major highway making it easy to get to for drop off and pick up! I am home everyday and spend most of my time with the animals in my care. I am happy to be flexible on timing for drop off or pick up windows and can pop in for drop in visits to give you a helping hand. In my home pets will be fed twice a day and have off leash time to relax or play with friends. If they are crate trained they will have their own crate to retreat to and dog beds to rest on. My dogs enjoy meeting new friends and provide a comforting pack to show new dogs the ropes. Outside, I always work on name recall with new dogs on leash and when they get to know me they will have supervised off leash time. Additionally, your dog may enjoy a walk to our horse barn and discover a world of sensory enrichment for their nose! In your home I can play with and feed your kitty or your pups and provide any care they need and can feed on the schedule that you request.
About: I've cared for several senior dogs with medical issues, such as seizures, and assisted in the recovery of a torn CCL. I also have 20+ years administering medicine that were prescribed by vets. One of my all time special skills would be the advanced training in the art of cuddling and snuggling. I am self employed which allows me great flexibility for taking care of your fur babies. I'm available week days and weekends with advanced notice. I have a medium sized crate if need be depending on individual fur baby needs. Whenever dropping in on a pet I'm very respectful of their property and follow instructions well. About: Excellent with senior care, comfortable with giving most types of medications. Will provide frequent updates about how your fur baby is including photos with a witty caption! I’m currently in between jobs, and have a good amount of free time to take your pup on an adventure! Alternatively, a slow day with walks around the neighborhood or time in the local park work too! I have a fenced in yard, however I will always be outside with your pup! Inside the house are several bowls of water and every couple hours we will take a walk!

Ethan was fantastic for our dogs first day care! At the meet-and-greet he took time to get to know both dogs on a short stroll around the neighborhood and paid careful attention to the instructions. Lorie is fabulous and our pets love her! She is extra communicative and truly cares for the pets she’s sitting. She went above and beyond cleaning bowls, vacuuming, and picking up after the pets—truly a dream to come home to after a vacation. We typically board our deaf dog, but are so glad we didn’t. Amy took care of my 20 year old cat for 9 days and was wonderful! Amy loves animals and it shows in her caring nature and attention to details. Annie needs medication twice a day and lots of love and Amy provided this and more. She kept me up to date with pictures and texts and even a video with a speaking part for Annie. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
