About: I know how important it is to feel confident that your beloved pets are happy and safe when you are traveling. Thats why I am really more of a dog nanny than a dogsitter. I have a soft spot for dogs who are shy or anxious, and whose trust I need to earn. I am particularly experienced with northern breeds such as Huskies and Malamutes. Regular clients get great benefits on top of in-house pet sitting. My base rate includes 1 hour or more of exercise (off leash park or leashed hike). I offer nail trims/dremels and light grooming at no additional cost. I offer deshedding/bathing for a modest fee, and I'm flexible about last minute schedule changes. For housesitting gigs, my dog Kaya is my +1. She provides stellar socialization and exercise for dogs who will accept canine visitors. I respect that some of owners feel reluctant to invite in dogs they don't know. If you would like your dog to have socialization with visitors but you're concerned, I have a lot of training experience with this and I may be of some help. Every day we have at least 1 hour of exercise in an off leash park or a leashed hike. My guests also get to join me on socialization expeditions such as visiting dog-friendly businesses. I can provide basic first aid in case of minor injuries, and I have an excellent track record for keeping dogs safe and out of mischief. About: We had well trained dogs for a long time. We've had, cockerspaniel, mutts, rottweiler, chihuahua, and a doberman. We’re well suited to handle dogs of all sizes, as long as they have good temperament. If you're curious about anything else, we’re happy to have an open conversation about what kind of care we’re able to provide! Luisa starts the day’s first dog walk at 6:00 AM. Phillip, who works remotely, stays at home throughout the day, providing company to the dog. Luisa returns home after 1:00 PM and does a second walk. We take a walk before bedtime. On weekends 1st walk happens on 8:00 AM and more walks can be provided as well as long hangout times in dog parks, etc. We are not 100% of the time at home and can be out for max 5hours. We host only 1 dog per stay. "Care", i think, is probably pet dependent. We’re open to adapting to a pet's needs (within reason), and will do our best to mold to the care it's used to receiving from their own family.

About: Hello! My name is Dari, I am a WA native and I have been taking care of dogs since 2011 and cats since 2023. I have 2 kitties of my own that live in my home and 1 kitty I co-parent from afar with a previous partner. I have dog-sat and cat-sat for friends, family, and neighbors many times over the last few years and am excited to do so for you and your furry friends too. I have also had hamsters, hermit crabs, and a lovebird as pets too! No critter will be left not taken care of under my watch. I am currently teaching yoga and meditation in Seattle, Bothell, Kirkland, Bellevue, and Snoqualmie; I am often bopping around to and from the studio and am happy to drop-in to take care of your pets or take your dog for a walk! I am also not gone from home like most people for full shifts of work that last 8-10 hrs, I am gone at most for 6-7 hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with other days of the week being more like 2 hours away at a time! I currently am only coaching a local swim team which the middle part of my day is very open to caring for dogs.
