About: I've been around cats and dogs most of my life and have a deep love and affection for them. As well, I recently started volunteering at Seattle Humane. I'm currently doing this part time, so I'm pretty flexible on availability on weekdays between Monday-Thursday. Though, for drop-ins, my clearest availability is between 8am-2pm. But again, I’m flexible. I can do overnights between 5pm-9am. I try to bring a calm, kind demeanor to the environment to put the cat(s) at ease; I will scoop the litter box, feed them, and if they show interest, play with them, and if not, I give them their space!

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats, including pet sitting experience outside the U.S. I’m new to Rover in the United States, but I’m not new to pet care. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, litter box care, basic grooming, and following detailed owner instructions. I also have pets of my own, so I understand how important consistency, patience, and clear communication are. I’m comfortable caring for cats and dogs of different breeds, mixed breeds, and sizes, including large dogs, as long as they are friendly, well-socialized, and a good fit after a meet-and-greet. About: I've been walking dogs for three years and been around them my whole life. It's the part of my week I actually look forward to. Your dog keeps their routine. Same meals, same walks, same order. You show me how it works at the walkthrough and I stick to it. I'm comfortable with older dogs too. I've handled some with limited mobility and I've given medication on a schedule. I speak English and Spanish. Hablo español Weekend trips are what I do best. Saturdays and Sundays I'm home with your dog the whole day. On weekdays I'm there overnight, out the door in the morning after breakfast and a walk, and back by six for a long evening walk and the rest of the night. Longer trips work well for dogs who are comfortable on their own during the workday. For walks and drop-ins, weekday evenings after 6pm and anytime on weekends. I don't board dogs at my place. I come to you. Your dog sleeps in their own bed and keeps their own schedule, which is usually the easiest thing for them. We start with a walkthrough so I get your dog right. How much they eat and when. Any medication and the trick to getting them to take it. Which leash and harness. Where the food and the cleanup bags live. Your vet and a backup contact. What your dog does when they're nervous and what helps them settle. I write it all down and I work from those notes. Keys get handed off in person or through a lockbox. I never leave one out. I never put your address on a tag. Leash stays on anytime we're outside. No dog parks or off-leash areas unless you tell me your dog is good with it. I check the gate and the door behind me every single time. You'll get a photo and a few lines every morning and every evening. Not a running commentary. Just enough that you never wonder how it's going. I have a car and your dog rides secured. If they need a vet I'll get them there and call you from the parking lot. We'll sort out how payment works beforehand so nobody is figuring that out in an exam room. If I can't reach you I'll try your backup contact and I'll act. I'm not going to sit on something waiting for a text back. On house sits I bring in the mail and take the bins out. I don't have people over. Your place stays yours.

About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve been the reliable friend people turn to when they’re away. Some of the routines look like: stopping in to feed pets, provide fresh water, clean up, and offer enrichment and play, and companionship so they feel comfortable and not alone. I also have experience house sitting and staying overnight for up to four nights, making sure pets feel safe, settled, and cared for in their own environment. I’ve been around animals since I was about 10 years old, including golden retrievers, labs, and cats, and I often ask to say hello when I see a furry friend out and about. I welcome different temperaments and adjust myself to meet them where they’re comfortable. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and aim to provide calm, attentive, and loving care so fur babies feel secure, seen, and cared for while their best friend is away. I am available all days of the week, between 9:00 am-6:00 pm, can provide overnight care, please send me a message. (Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat) The goal is calm, consistency, and reading pet cues. 1. Follow their routine exactly Pets feel safest with predictability. Feed at the same times Use the same food amounts and bowls Keep walks/playtime similar to what they’re used to Even small changes can make sensitive pets anxious. 2. Do a careful first check-in When I arrive: I look for water level, food, accidents, or damage I observe their behavior (hiding, excited, nervous, clingy) I let them come to me rather than forcing interaction. 3. I arrive with a calm presence Many pets don’t need constant stimulation, they need steady companionship. I prefer to sit quietly near them, talk softly and let shy pets approach me on their terms 4. Exercise + enrichment (tailored to each pet) Dogs: walks, sniff time, fetch (if they enjoy it) Cats: wand toys, gentle play, window time I may suggest to keep sessions short if they get overstimulated 5. I like to help keep the home clean and safe by scooping litter boxes daily (sometimes twice per day), pick up wrappers or food items immediately, wipe paws if needed after walks, and keep doors locked and secure at all times 6. Respect their boundaries This is a big one for trust: I try not to force picking up or petting and watch for signs like tail flicking, hiding, freezing, or overstimulation. I let them decompress alone if needed. 7. I love the saying, “Leave things better than you found them” My fur friends owners say they appreciate: Clean bowls and litter areas, a tidy feeding/walking area, and the notes about how they did during the visit 8. I communicate clearly Send updates like: “Fed, walked, and doing well,” Photos (if allowed) and any changes in behavior or appetite

About: I have provided care for a variety of animals including dogs, cats and horses since I was young for family, friends and my own pets. I work a full-time non traditional schedule and I am available Sunday, Monday, Wednesday in the morning and afternoon to provide any necessary pet care. I can harness dogs if needed for walks. When caring for pets in the home, I will regularly check their water and food amount during feeding time. I will also make sure to take dogs outside regularly to relieve themselves.
