About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats. I’ve been the reliable friend people turn to when they’re away. Some of the routines look like: stopping in to feed pets, provide fresh water, clean up, and offer enrichment and play, and companionship so they feel comfortable and not alone. I also have experience house sitting and staying overnight for up to four nights, making sure pets feel safe, settled, and cared for in their own environment. I’ve been around animals since I was about 10 years old, including golden retrievers, labs, and cats, and I often ask to say hello when I see a furry friend out and about. I welcome different temperaments and adjust myself to meet them where they’re comfortable. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and aim to provide calm, attentive, and loving care so fur babies feel secure, seen, and cared for while their best friend is away. I am available all days of the week, between 9:00 am-6:00 pm, can provide overnight care, please send me a message. (Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat) The goal is calm, consistency, and reading pet cues. 1. Follow their routine exactly Pets feel safest with predictability. Feed at the same times Use the same food amounts and bowls Keep walks/playtime similar to what they’re used to Even small changes can make sensitive pets anxious. 2. Do a careful first check-in When I arrive: I look for water level, food, accidents, or damage I observe their behavior (hiding, excited, nervous, clingy) I let them come to me rather than forcing interaction. 3. I arrive with a calm presence Many pets don’t need constant stimulation, they need steady companionship. I prefer to sit quietly near them, talk softly and let shy pets approach me on their terms 4. Exercise + enrichment (tailored to each pet) Dogs: walks, sniff time, fetch (if they enjoy it) Cats: wand toys, gentle play, window time I may suggest to keep sessions short if they get overstimulated 5. I like to help keep the home clean and safe by scooping litter boxes daily (sometimes twice per day), pick up wrappers or food items immediately, wipe paws if needed after walks, and keep doors locked and secure at all times 6. Respect their boundaries This is a big one for trust: I try not to force picking up or petting and watch for signs like tail flicking, hiding, freezing, or overstimulation. I let them decompress alone if needed. 7. I love the saying, “Leave things better than you found them” My fur friends owners say they appreciate: Clean bowls and litter areas, a tidy feeding/walking area, and the notes about how they did during the visit 8. I communicate clearly Send updates like: “Fed, walked, and doing well,” Photos (if allowed) and any changes in behavior or appetite
About: I just graduated from law school and am looking to make some additional money while studying for the bar. As such, I have an incredibly flexible schedule and am at home a significant portion of the day. I have 20+ years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments as well as other pets. I’m comfortable with puppies and young pets — helping them build confidence, reinforce basic commands, and establish healthy routines. I’m equally attentive to senior dogs, understanding their need for gentler exercise, medication schedules, and extra comfort. What sets me apart is my calm, patient energy and genuine love for animals. I treat every pet like my own — with consistent boundaries, plenty of affection, and close attention to their individual personality and needs. I’m also a reliable communicator, sending regular photo updates so owners always feel at ease. Special skills include: • Puppy socialization and basic obedience reinforcement (I have helped raise 3 puppies) • Senior pet care (mobility support, medications, low-impact activity). My families fifteen year old golden retriever prepared me well 😀. • Administering oral medications • Experience with high-energy breeds and dogs with anxiety • I workout regularly and can easily lift any dog if needed. recently graduated law school and am currently studying for the bar exam, which means I’m working from home with a very flexible schedule. I have plenty of time throughout the day to give pets the attention, walks, and companionship they need — no rushing off to an office or unpredictable hours. Having a pet around actually makes for great study company! Whether I’m welcoming pets into my home or caring for them in their own space, my approach is the same — attentive, calm, and consistent with their normal routine. In my home: I provide a comfortable, pet-friendly environment where animals are never left alone for long periods. Pets have space to relax, play, and get plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. In your home: I follow your pet’s established routine as closely as possible — same feeding times, same walking schedule, same rules. I want them to feel like nothing has changed, just with a friendly new face. For drop-in visits: I make the most of every visit — feeding, fresh water, playtime, a walk if needed, and of course some quality cuddle time. I always send a update so you know how things went. For dog walking: Walks are tailored to your dog’s pace and energy level. I keep them safe, engaged, and well-exercised — and always clean up after them.
“Ana was phenomenal. Lily had a great time with her. Ana was very attentive to lilys needs and took her on some great walks. I love that Ana gets personal with the animals and makes them feel loved like they are her own. My favorite part of the pet sitting was getting pictures of Lily through out the visits. It was like I was there with them. Ana is grade A when it comes to taking care of pets. I will use her again and again. Thank you Ana!”

“Hunter was so reassuring when she checked on our new puppy Willow while we were at work. Willow is 3.5 months old and too young to be left home in the crate for long periods of time. Hunter checked on willow, played with her outside, and even cleaned up after a small accident in her crate. We received pictures and a full report after her 30 minute stay with Willow. We will definitely be using Hunter again!”
“Alison did an amazing job taking care of my cat while I was traveling! I had some problems with the spare key and she promptly agreed on moving on with an arragement I made. She cared about the high temperatures and made sure the AC was turned on when necessary. My cat loved her on the first sight! Also, she takes amazing pictures 😁 Thank you so much, Alison!”

“She took wonderful care of my cat while I was away. She was very kind, attentive, and clearly experienced with cats. I really appreciated the updates and photos she shared, which gave me great peace of mind during my trip. My cat looked relaxed and well cared for when I got back. I would definitely recommend her and would be happy to book with her again!”

“Scheduled a meet and greet with Rachel to make sure she was comfortable with our dog and vice versa they hit it off great! She was able to stop by in a pinch and was very knowledgeable. Looking forward to booking her in the future!”

About: I have taken a few years off but I am ready to start connecting with your pups again! :) Started volunteering at my local animal shelter in the Bay Area when I was 13 and worked there for 6 years. There I received professional training on walking and dog behavior with hundreds of different dogs. I even ended up adopting my own Staffy pitbull from there! On a personal note, I grew up in an animal loving home surrounded by furry, feathered, and scaly friends all of which I am also comfortable caring for! I currently work for the Seattle Seahawks M-Th (9-5pm) and home gamedays. I am available to work around that schedule! Especially Fridays-Sundays assuming the hawks aren’t playing at home! Pet safety is my first priority. In a client’s home I will keep a close set of eyes on your pup, ensuring every one of their needs are taken care of. This means staying focused on the pet and cautious of the environment, such as steering clear of other dogs that could potentially be unfriendly, keeping an eye out for distracted drivers, anticipating lunges at cats, squirrels, etc. I also make sure dogs don’t eat anything off of the street, get overheated, or distressed in any way. As a dog TLC volunteer at the Peninsula Humane Society/ASPCA, I received critical training on how to hold a leash properly to maintain control of the dog at all times.
“Liliana was absolutely amazing with my dog Mailo. You can tell right away how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. She sent me photos during the visit which I really appreciated, and it made me feel even more at ease. Mailo came home so happy, relaxed, and full of energy from his walk, it was obvious he had such a great time. It honestly made me feel so comfortable knowing he was in such kind and trustworthy hands. She was also very communicative and easy to coordinate with. I would 100% book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will truly care for their dog.”

“Noah was amazing with our two pups while we were away on vacation. He gave us confidence in his care from the moment we introduced him to the dogs. Will be using him for all of our trips!”

“Jackie is amazing! She was dependable, detail-oriented, and easy to work with during her first week with our pup. She uses good judgment and provides the relief and assurance a new puppy mommy needs! She sent detailed updates throughout her days with Mr. Mustard and somehow managed to take perfect pictures of him, even though he is often camera shy. :) We've booked her for an upcoming stay and look forward to working with her in the future. Thanks, Jackie!”

“Sandra is such a sweetheart! She was great during the meet and greet, asked lots of questions and approached our cats gently - the more outgoing of our two kitties even trusted her for some belly rubs! While we were away, she was very communicative, and we felt confident our boys were in good hands. She did a great job and we would happily trust her to care for them again next time!”

“Carly was amazing! Very flexible as I had to schedule the visits last minute. Excellent communication and she took lots of photos of my two boys! My one cat is very skittish and tends to hide around new people but he came out for her and let her give him pets! They clearly liked and trusted her. Very grateful to know they were taken such good care of while I was away. Will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Chloe has been wonderful with our puppy. She is caring, reliable, and always makes sure our puppy is happy, engaged, and cared for during her visits. We appreciate the regular updates and her thoughtful attention to Yuna's needs. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter!”

About: I have years of experience with my own dogs as well as pet sitting for many other dogs/cats/pets over the years. I’m always able to build a strong bond with all the animals I come into contact with by being very nurturing, giving them positive reinforcement so they can thrive and be happy. I can also quickly identify when a dog/pet is feeling ill from something it ate or has suffered an injury by stepping on something, etc. I’m obsessive about constantly observing my dog’s behaviors and making sure all is well. I would do nothing short of that same dedication for your dog/pet as well. I’m currently wearing many hats as an entrepreneur and so my schedule fluctuates and is never really in a fixed routine. That being said it is extremely flexible and perfect for dog walking/pet sitting since I can take on new bookings quickly and easily. No wife/kids.. so my free time schedule is also very flexible. There are times when I have other jobs I need to complete but they are usually also very flexible and can be moved around in order to accommodate walking a pet or pet sitting. My home doesn’t have a fenced in yard but I make sure to leash them up good/safe so that when we go outside they can’t run off or anything like that. There is a shared grass yard space (sort of like a courtyard) in the middle of my townhome complex that is a very quiet/safe place for them to go potty and sniff the foliage. There are some dog parks nearby where we can take your dog to run around off-leash if that is something the owner permits. I love nothing more then to see them running free and frolicking/playing with their other furry friends. But if the pet isn’t social like that, then I can keep them safe at home no problem.
About: Hi, my name is Elissa. I and my husband have a 6 year old German Shepherd and a 8+ year old cat. I took care of them for more than 3 years. I am a very nice person to your pet, and I willing to sit down and have a conversation with your pet and just let your pet know I am his/her new friend. I believe this good start will improve our walking experience. Stay with a dog, especially the German Shepherd is what I never think about it before I met my husband. At first, I am also afraid of this huge dog, but right now he even listen to me more than my husband. He can under my voice control in the dog park, and I also understand all of his attitude and will avoid any of the aggressive things before it happen. As a pet sitter, I feel keep your pet be safe is the most important thing as the owner wish. So I will promise I will put the safe at first.
“Allie was an awesome cat sitter for the weekend i was away. My younger cat, Mylo, even made friends with her, which is amazing because he’s usually nervous with new people. I came home to happy cats and a tidy home, and I’d gladly book her again.”

Clyde Hill dog parents share their Rover experiences
Toki was so so wonderful with our 3 month puppy! He played with him so well that puppy fell asleep for 3 hrs once Toki left - happy happy puppy! Toki was very respectful in our house, and took beautiful pics of puppy both times he came. We are excited to work with Toki again!

Our dogs were immediately comfortable meeting James. He had a very kind vibe and we all picked up on that! James was punctual, efficient and sent photos of my pups everyday. It’s our first Rover experience and we were very pleased. I highly recommend James, as do Greta (9 yo staffy) and Ollie (18 yo chi).

Julia came to visit my pup for the evening. I was so sad to leave him home after a long day at work and then an evening g outing, but having Julia stop by made all the difference. He was so happy to tell me about his new friend vs being sad and depressed for endless hours home alone. Julia did a great job providing photos and updates of their time together too, we will definitely book her again.

Elli was absolutely wonderful in her care, feeding and walking of my sweet dog Ramona. She’s very thorough, attentive and caring. I especially enjoy her creating multiple photos of Ramona during and after her walks with her! I had been out of town when she was taking care of Ramona and seeing those photos brightened my day. I highly recommend Elli.
