About: I have taken care of pets, including my own, since I was 8 years old. From big to small, dogs to cats, young and old, and many breeds I have a passion for taking care of animals! I am very reliable and have excellent communication. You will always find your pet happier than you left them! I am currently on summer break so have all the time in the world for your pet! I am free most days and most hours so have a very flexible schedule. Say the word and I will be there for your pet! I have 2 dogs and have taken care of many of my family and friends. About: With my nursing background and having my own animals, I am knowledgeable and competent in handling/administering medications and mostly anything medical related with your pets. I have two animals of my own and have owned various pets throughout my life (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, etc). I am experienced in sitting various animals of all ages and would truly be honored to meet and love on your kiddos. I am available most days of the week since I am currently only working as a nurse part time. Other than my own two pets, I do not have any other commitments. After reading through A LOT of sitter profiles, Marcea stood out the most to us as someone we felt could be a good fit. Our 9yrs old bloodhound had a rough start in life, and came to me at 2yrs old as an anxious, leash-aggressive, separation anxiety, osteo-arthritic, quirky dog. Through behavioral training and medication management, his life is more calm and stable, but he requires structure, routine, and calm patient love and understanding. After a combining households move that put our dog hanging at home alone 3 days a week, I knew we needed to hire someone for drop-in visits. Enter Marcea. Our slow-to-trust anxious boy took to Marcea instantly! She is so kind and calm and loving with him, he looks so much happier after work on scheduled drop-ins. And when the trash can got left in the kitchen and our dog, true to his bloodhound nature, needed to investigate and eat the fine trash can delicacies, Marcea instantly sprung into action. She contacted us immediately out of concern for our pup and his safety, and luckily there wasn’t anything in the garbage that was life threatening, but what a relief she was there (and she cleaned up the mess without any complaint or chastising). About: In preparation for my first puppy as a single-puppy-parent, I did a ton of research and hit the ground running when I adopted my first rat terrier puppy. We went through many and frequent training classes and socialization outings so that my dog would grow up to become a happy, well-socialized, nearly fearless adult. Toki was so so wonderful with our 3 month puppy! He played with him so well that puppy fell asleep for 3 hrs once Toki left - happy happy puppy! Toki was very respectful in our house, and took beautiful pics of puppy both times he came. We are excited to work with Toki again!
Sherry is awesome. We just moved from out of state and have a pretty old dog not used to this climate. He was scared when we left him, and we have always boarded him in the past so he was quite difficult. Sherry was patient, and over 2-3 DAYS of feeding a growling, snapping dog she saw kobe turn back into the cool old dog he normally is. I can’t say enough how easy and patient she has been with a tough situation.
