About: I’ve grown up caring for my own beagle, so I know firsthand what dogs need to feel comfortable and loved. I have experience with senior dogs and understand how to give them the extra patience and gentle care they deserve. I’m a college student home for the summer taking online classes, so my schedule is extremely flexible. I have plenty of time to give dogs the attention and care they need throughout the day. I provide care at my clients’ homes and on walks, so your dog stays comfortable in familiar surroundings. Whether it’s sticking to their routine at home or getting their energy out on a walk, I make sure they’re happy, safe, and well looked after.

About: Hey dog parents! I would love to spend time taking care of your furry friend! I am a Mercer Island native and have grown up taking care of friends’/family’s dogs. I love how energetic and happy they are. I work a hybrid schedule and can be available on short notice. I have plenty of availability on the weekends as well to help care for your pets. If your dog is used to a neighborhood trail or park that’s not nearby, I am happy to drive them in my SUV. Caring for animals has been very rewarding and I’ve missed that feeling. I’m now settled back in the city and ready to walk your furry friend! I work a hybrid schedule, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout the week. Whether you need morning/afternoon/evening walks and drop-ins, or weekend visits, I can accommodate a wide range of times and routines. I’m available both weekdays and weekends. Happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits your dog’s needs and establish/continue their routine. Your dog’s safety is always my top priority. During every walk, I keep dogs leashed at all times and closely follow your instructions. If anything ever seems off, whether it’s your dog’s behavior, health, or surroundings, I’ll reach out to you right away. I want you to always feel confident and informed while your furry friend is in my care.

“It’s the fourth or fifth time we work with Zoe. She is an amazing care taker and Mako/our cat loves her!! I see her building trust with Mako visit by visit. Zoe goes beyond the regular duties (i.e. feeding, water refilling, litter box cleaning) to explore new activities with Mako to keep the visits fun. Thank you for all you do!!”

About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind. I have dog sat for friends and neighbors. They entrust me to do what is needed! I start a new job in a month so I have a lot of free time to dog-sit. When I start my new job I can do weekends only. I am so excited! I love dogs and I can’t wait to meet yours. Thank you! I worked at a doggie daycare as a seasonal job while at college and loved it!! I know how to work with many different breeds and make sure to carry that to my clients and my own at home. “Jue took amazing care of our cats while we were away. Communication was quick and consistent, and we loved getting thoughtful updates plus pictures and videos. Best of all, we came home to calm, happy cats — always the best sign. Highly recommend and we’ll absolutely use her again.”

“Loved Daiana! On time, personable, great with cats and appreciating our cat’s feisty personality. Daiana was always quick to respond via the Rover app and sent the cutest photos. Would totally use her again!!”

“Maura was fantastic! She was very communicative and I really appreciated her flexibility when my travel plans changed last minute. My cat can get lonely and anxious when I'm gone and she was in such good spirits when I returned. Maura's visits made Juniper feel comfortable and cared for and it was wonderful to know she was in good hands while I was gone. I would definitely recommend Maura!”

“Alison is a great choice for a sitter for your furry loved ones! When she looks after my cats and is responsible and communicative. From the pictures, I can see the kitties are very happy to have her!”

“Chase is so great I don’t even know what to say! She’s great with my dog, and with me in all communication. She always takes amazing photos, keeps me informed and makes me feel ok about leaving my dog when I go to work because I know she loves to hang out with Chase.”

“Kevin has been absolutely fantastic with our dog! She's very high-energy, and Kevin always finds creative ways to keep her engaged and burn off that energy. We mentioned that she needed to work on not jumping on people and also no barking for attention, and Kevin was great about reinforcing those behaviors during their time together. We've seen real improvement! Our pup is always thrilled to see him and is totally tuckered out—and happy—after each visit. Kevin is also incredibly responsive and communicates clearly. I especially love reading the notes and seeing the pictures he shares in the Rover cards 😊”

About: I have been taking care of my cat since he was a small kitten. I have a lot of empathy and compassion towards animals and consider my cats some of my best friends. My cousin will be joining me for my Rover journey. I dog sit his dogs- 16 years old, 1 year old, and 3 months old. My cousin only feeds his dogs the best, raw food and lets them play outside a lot. Together we make a team I am on summer break from college so my schedule is very flexible. I can work around your schedule and am available every week day. Tuesday and Friday evenings, I am available before 5:00 pm. I typically let dogs go outside for the bathroom about every 30 minutes. I make sure their water is full and they are fed on time.

About: I am very comfortable with all animals! I love dogs and cats and have loved the process of helping others by taking good care of their furry loved ones. I have petsat for multiple families over the years and can accommodate almost any needs as I am very available and flexible this summer. I am a college student home for the summer with a very available and flexible schedule! I can take the time out of my day to check in on your pets throughout the mornings and evenings. I care for the pets I sit for with affection and love. I am available to sit and play with them, simply feed them, check in on them, and perform any chores that comes with pet care.
“She was available last minute and very friendly with the pups. While I was gone, the pups made a bit of a mess (getting into trash and a bit of pee inside) that were left there. But I didn’t explicitly ask her to clean their messes, and she seems to have followed at least the primary instructions, so there’s that. Overall, pretty solid experience for what she charges.”

About: I have had four dogs ranging from a small puppy 3 pounds up to a Wheaton terrier 40 pounds which we got as a puppy and lived till 12–13, so I have experience through the entire life cycle of a dog. I love dogs but also traveling so I’m not sure I could have one of my own right now I am totally flexible. I don’t work too much and when I do, I work from home on the computer. I am available for regular walks and potty breaks for your pet. I do have balance and mobility issues so that is why I am limiting weight sitting to 40 pounds or less to make sure every one stays safe. I’m happy to take your dog for walks or to the park. There’s a great ball chasing park nearby. alternatively we can hop in the car and go to a dog park.

Todd took amazing care of Finn during our drop‑ins! He was thorough, punctual, and makes dogs/pets feel instantly at ease. Finn can be shy/quirky at first with certain people, but Todd won him over immediately and kept me updated with photos and notes. It’s such a relief knowing Finn is in good hands. We’ll absolutely be using Todd again!
Toki was so so wonderful with our 3 month puppy! He played with him so well that puppy fell asleep for 3 hrs once Toki left - happy happy puppy! Toki was very respectful in our house, and took beautiful pics of puppy both times he came. We are excited to work with Toki again!

Sherry is awesome. We just moved from out of state and have a pretty old dog not used to this climate. He was scared when we left him, and we have always boarded him in the past so he was quite difficult. Sherry was patient, and over 2-3 DAYS of feeding a growling, snapping dog she saw kobe turn back into the cool old dog he normally is. I can’t say enough how easy and patient she has been with a tough situation.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
