Newly Graduated Veterinarian
I run this account with my parents and between the three of us we have a lot of animal experience! My mom has been a working veterinarian for 30 years. I have worked/volunteered in the veterinary industry officially for six years, taking care of cats and dogs of all ages! I just finished my veterinary degree at the University of Edinburgh. Before that I had a lot of experience with fostering animals as my mom is a vet as well. I have bottle fed puppies and kittens and done some basic training with young dogs. I have experience giving medication topically, orally and in the form of an injection. I understand proper safety when walking a dog from walking dogs boarded at the clinic. I also have some experience with exotic animals such as birds and reptiles and horses!

Lauren was the best with our cats! She is very responsive, feels comfortable around animals, and gave the upmost care to our pets. I appreciated her check-ins throughout the visits as well as her willingness to follow through with all of our nuanced care instructions.
Lauren was a true joy to work with from start to finish! Great at communication, arrived on time, asked thoughtful questions about our pups routine and left our home spotless; she even left a lovely human treat for US when we arrived home! Murphy took to her caring personality immediately which is not his usual M.O. when meeting new folks. He was obviously well cared for and loved on while we were away. And bonus, she recently graduated from veterinarian school so we were confident she could handle any situation that arose. We’d give her 10 Stars ⭐️ if we could!
Lauren was very helpful and communicative. We were visiting from out of town which makes finding a sitter stressful, especially with our dog’s anxiety. We trusted Lauren completely and our dog was happy and well-taken care of the entire time. I would recommend Lauren if you are looking for a dog sitter!
Lauren welcomed my 10 mo old puppy with open arms. From the moment we arrived, Lauren and her fur babies welcomed my girl and provided the perfect stay while I was away. Lauren’s communication was great, pictures were sent showing how at home my girl had become. Lauren was exceptionally accommodating, and kind. When I arrive to pick up my pup, she was playing, happy and unfazed that I was there (to me, this is the perfect sign of a well cared for dog). I’ll be calling Lauren for future overnight stays. Your dog will love Lauren!!!
Lauren was amazing at taking care of Riley today. She regularly shared photos & was very flexible as our schedule changed a couple times.
Lauren and her family were great! They sent pictures daily and did all kinds of great activities. Thank you Lauren!!

Schedule
I am currently a full time student at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, Scotland, getting my doctorate in veterinary medicine. I will be returning from Scotland for the summer and will be working during the day but my breaks will allow me to take care of pets! I don't have any concrete plans for weekends so I am fully open to pet care duties! My mom works part time and my dad works full time but part time at home. Between the three of us, we make sure all the pets are cared for all hours of the day.

As a student I love to spend time with animals while I study! I find it a good way to help me relax and help your furry friends destress. I also love walking and feel safer when I can do it with a four legged buddy! I cannot house pets in my own home, but in entering your home I promise to treat it with respect and follow all rules and guidelines laid out for me in regards to home maintenance and pet care!

A typical day
I love playing with pets as I think it is a good way to get energy out and relieve stress. I know my family dogs love going to the dog beach so if that is something your pet likes to do/is comfortable with I would love to take them on little adventures like that. Training is also another good way to prevent boredom in pets so if there are any tricks or commands you are working on, let me know!
