I have two rescue dogs (Stella - 1 year and Wilbur - 3 years) that I've just adopted within the last month, and I was really nervous about leaving them so soon after adoption. At our meeting and greet, Stella and Wilbur were immediately comfortable with Amy, Tango and Uno, significantly reducing any concerns that I had in leaving them. Stella and Wilbur loved their time with Amy. They are acclimating to the world (both were kept outside in a pen) and can be very restless, particularly at night. Amy is so patient with them and is such a calming presence. Moreover, Tango and Uno really help to demonstrate normal, appropriate behaviors, especially a night. Amy is wonderful. I'm so happy I've found her!”

When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! “Laila, fit us in at the last minute and was absolutely wonderful! My chihuahua is a bit much for a lot of people and he has a very strong bond to me. He liked Laila right away and I was able to leave him with a peaceful heart. She sent me so many pictures and videos that I never had to wonder if he was being cared for and happy. She showed me without me ever having to ask. I have never picked him up from a sitter when he did not run to me and jump in the car ready to go home. But, when Laila brought him outside to go home he wanted to go on their usual walk and was genuinely sad to leave. 11 out of ten! He is so calm and happy I’m so glad Laila was able to watch him for me this weekend!”

If they're playful, I would love to play with them!! I am licensed to administer medications (oral & injections) for humans, although have never given them to a pet before - if you can show me how you do it, depending on your cat I may be able to administer meds. (FYI - I'll be honest - as a relatively newer catsitter, if you cat can be hostile towards strangers I may not be the best fit. If they're just shy then I'm happy to give them their space until they warm up a bit!)

I don't accept more than 2 dogs per day (for both boarding and day care) so you can be sure that your pup will get plenty of attention! About: In preparation for my first puppy as a single-puppy-parent, I did a ton of research and hit the ground running when I adopted my first rat terrier puppy. We went through many and frequent training classes and socialization outings so that my dog would grow up to become a happy, well-socialized, nearly fearless adult. I believe in positive reinforcement and can't help but give all the love to all the furkids around me. I've also adopted and lost my heart to larger furkids. Our 2 retired racing greyhounds crossed over the rainbow bridge a few years and left a big void in our family. My first rat terrier recently left us, so we are now just a 1-dog family. I'm an indoor and outdoor gardener, a very amateur macro photographer, woodworker, general DIYer and dabbler in many things. My dogs like to hang out in the sunshine with me whenever I'm gardening or trying to capture a shot of something interesting in the garden. At our meeting and greet, Stella and Wilbur were immediately comfortable with Amy, Tango and Uno, significantly reducing any concerns that I had in leaving them. Stella and Wilbur loved their time with Amy. They are acclimating to the world (both were kept outside in a pen) and can be very restless, particularly at night. Amy is so patient with them and is such a calming presence. Moreover, Tango and Uno really help to demonstrate normal, appropriate behaviors, especially a night. Amy is wonderful. I'm so happy I've found her!”

“Leah and Leio (and their kids) were so loving towards Luca and went out of their way to treat him like family during his stay :) We received updates and photos often, which we loved! When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat! If you’re looking for a family that will love your dog like their own and do everything they can to make your pup at home while you’re away, Leah and Leio will be the right fit for you.”
“So thankful for wonderful dog sitters like Liz. I knew our labrador retriever, Callie, was in great hands when we dropped her off. Liz has a lovely home with a large fenced in backyard. She sent me frequent picture updates, and looked like she was having a ton of fun running around in the backyard, going on walks, and playing inside with toys. “Wanqing was wonderful! She took care of my dog, Goldie, in my home for the afternoon. Goldie rarely lets anyone pick her up, but she was sitting in Wanqing's lap when I got home. “Ya-Han is an excellent caregiver and consummate professional. Her attention to detail is obvious with daily logs (with times and details for feedings, walks, activities, etc), ample pictures, and an occasional video. I'm a fairly laid-back dog owner and didn't ask for anything special in terms of communication, so that level of diligence is baked-in. Very impressive. Would gladly board with again.”
