About: I've taken care of a friend's cat, for a few days over the last year. If your cat is shy, I'm happy to let them be & do their thing, and check in on them & their needs now & then. If they're playful, I would love to play with them!! I am licensed to administer medications (oral & injections) for humans, although have never given them to a pet before - if you can show me how you do it, depending on your cat I may be able to administer meds. (FYI - I'll be honest - as a relatively newer catsitter, if you cat can be hostile towards strangers I may not be the best fit. If they're just shy then I'm happy to give them their space until they warm up a bit!)

My home is also spacious and equipped with AC to keep your dog cool in the heat.

About: I have had four dogs ranging from a small puppy 3 pounds up to a Wheaton terrier 40 pounds which we got as a puppy and lived till 12–13, so I have experience through the entire life cycle of a dog. I love dogs but also traveling so I’m not sure I could have one of my own right now I am totally flexible. I don’t work too much and when I do, I work from home on the computer. I am available for regular walks and potty breaks for your pet. I do have balance and mobility issues so that is why I am limiting weight sitting to 40 pounds or less to make sure every one stays safe. I’m happy to take your dog for walks or to the park. There’s a great ball chasing park nearby. alternatively we can hop in the car and go to a dog park.

I have a lot of time after work and a lot of free time on weekends. Additionally, we have lots of breaks and three-day weekends throughout the school year where I’m typically free. During the summer, I’ll be the most active on this app because we have two months off! I will most likely not offer services that give pets the opportunity stay with me in my apartment, but when I am in your home I will be respectful of your space and leave everything exactly how it was.

About: Hey dog parents! I would love to spend time taking care of your furry friend! I am a Mercer Island native and have grown up taking care of friends’/family’s dogs. I love how energetic and happy they are. I work a hybrid schedule and can be available on short notice. I have plenty of availability on the weekends as well to help care for your pets. If your dog is used to a neighborhood trail or park that’s not nearby, I am happy to drive them in my SUV. Caring for animals has been very rewarding and I’ve missed that feeling. About: I’ve taken care of cats, dogs and other fluffy friends for most of my life. Pets are our best friends and companions, they deserve an attentive caretaker while their humans are away. I strive to make sure your loved ones are cared for exactly as you ask. Every pet has their own special needs, especially as they age. I have experience with older animals as well and am comfortable administering medications. I’m soft spoken and patient and will ensure they feel safe and comfortable with my presence. I have two shelter cats at home who my partner and I spoil with love daily. We are looking forward to adopting a dog in the future and adding to our family! I have a flexible schedule and am local to the island. I focus my availability to just the island so I can quickly make it to our scheduled bookings on time. While I don’t offer boarding services at this time, I will gladly maintain your routine with your pet in your home. If you crate your dog or have dedicated play spaces I’ll be sure to follow your guidelines. Any preferences for walk locations can also be abided by. I’ll be sure to work with your timid animals to build a trust relationship with them.

“An absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. Vivian is extremely responsive and met Ernest and I for a meet-and-greet just a couple of days after I contacted her. This was a first time we left our dog with a sitter so obviously we were a little anxious. However, Vivian provided photo and video updates daily! Our dog clearly enjoyed his stay, as he got to play with other puppies. Moreover, we appreciated that Vivian kept up with his crate training. When I mentioned that Luca likes to look out windows during the day, they made efforts to ensure that he could do just that at their house :) Another thing I appreciated was how much info they asked upfront in our meet and greet in order to meet all of Luca’s needs and understand the manners/rules he follows when he’s at home (e.g. no table food, sitting & waiting before taking his food). This was very considerate and showed a lot of respect for Luca’s norms :) Luca got lots of love, lots of walks, and lots of space to roam during his stay! We would bring Luca back to stay with them in a heartbeat!
