I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 8 when I had my first dog. Since then I’ve always helped out with friends and family when they were on vacations or work trips. Since moving to WA, I’ve been doing rover for quite a few people - mostly here on Mercer Island. I’ve enjoyed it very much and gets me outside during the colder days!

In your home I can do whatever is necessary and required of me to make your fur baby comfortable and loved! I enjoy long walks and am quite active, so getting out for walks will never be an issue.

We loved having Kayla as our pet sitter for our two dogs, Lizzy and Fran. She was extremely reliable and very easy to work with. Plus, our dogs loved her! Kayla was excellent!

Kayla is a great with our boy Rex. She is reliable and always taking the time to walk Rex which is must excited activity. She fills his water bowl after each walk and takes good care of keeping our home in order.

Kayla was easy to work with and prompt with communication. She made pumbaa feel comfortable in a new space which was very much appreciated. Would definitely book with her again.

Schedule
Please read prior to booking: I work in office Tuesday through Thursday and not available between the hours of 8am-5pm. If you live in downtown Bellevue near the mall, a drop in at lunch time could be possible. Wednesday and Fridays I WFH so those are more flexible. For dog sitting/boarding - I only have it shown as available for Friday-Mon for the above reasons. Unless you are comfortable with your dog(s) being left alone for longer periods of time or live in downtown Bellevue where it is easier for me to drop by throughout the work day.

- Please no requests if you are outside my service area unless you are on Mercer Island - then that is okay! I’m located in Downtown Bellevue. Also, please let me know if your dog has any special care requirements so that I’m able to provide the best care and attention for him/her. If requesting walks for weights closer to the high end, I won’t accept dogs that pull constantly or run after other dogs out of excitement. It’s too much strain on my shoulders/arms.
