“Natalia is awesome! Super caring for our kitties, one of whom can be very challenging. She handled everything with commission and provided very thorough with updates. Highly recommend.”

“Mike was great with our two kitties! He was very communicative, asked questions if anything was unclear, always let us know if he was running a little late for a check-in (understandable during the busy holiday season!) and overall provided excellent care for our boys. He was also able to extend our reservation last-minute when our flight home was cancelled, which was a huge relief so we didn't have to scramble to find someone else! Would definitely book with Mike again.”

About: I have always had some kind of pet growing up and am so happy with that fact! Whether it be bird, turtle, fish, hamster, or more cats and dogs than I can count I have either owned them or taken care of them. I have experience with all walks of life from fresh to life to the could retire in human years stages. I also have experience in keeping to medication schedules and working around allergies and diets during mealtimes. I also have worked with highly-reactive dogs and am more than willing to put in the time and effort so they are comfortable with me as well as have the skills to help them work through stressful moments. I absolutely cannot wait to meet your pets and help you support them as best I can. I currently work several seasonal jobs so I am super available during the off seasons. I am open for walks or check-ins from 10am-6pm Tuesdays-Sundays and I am available for house sitting on a short notice. I always make sure that your pet’s safety and care is my top priority. For walks I love sticking to areas around the house the pet is already comfortable in or if you and the pet are ok with it going on a bit of an adventure in my car to a local dog park or walking area. If I am staying at your house I always aim to stick to the animals normal schedule, including mealtimes and walk times, to ensure that they are disrupted as little as possible and still feel safe.

About: I did not grow up with any household pets (other than fish) but have many friends with animals, for which I have cared for on occasion. I am an avid animal-lover and spent 11 years working with horses, so I am well-informed of the love, care, and attention they need. It would be my pleasure to care for your furry friend(s) and provide the activity/love/attention they need! I am a recent college-graduate and am currently in the middle of jobs, so I have an abundance of free time to handle pet care! As of now, I am not able to care for pets in my own home, although I will meticulously follow any guidelines and instructions to keep your pets safe and happy when I care for them at your home!

My experience includes drop in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, and overnight pet sitting in owners’ homes. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, from tiny Chihuahuas to giant Great Danes. “We had a wonderful experience with Momo. Communication was always smooth, prompt, and reliable, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. She took excellent care of our cats, paid close attention to every detail, and even helped with a few extra household tasks without us having to ask. Most importantly, our cats quickly warmed up to her, and it was obvious they felt comfortable and well cared for. We truly appreciate her kindness, thoughtfulness, and professionalism, and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter.”

“Miranda does an awesome job with my puppy Nella! I feel very comfortable leaving my new, very active puppy, in her experienced hands. She also sends pictures after each walk and detailed reports, which I really appreciate.”
“Barbara was wonderful! She took care of our cat, frogs, and turtle while we were gone for 10 days. Our cat loved her and she made sure the other animals were cared for properly. She provided helpful updates and left us a daily log when we returned. I would definitely use Barbara again in the future!”

“Gabby was wonderful, responded quickly and took care of my little Gizmo. Left a wonderful update for me to know he was good and safe. I will definitely use Gabby again.”

“Cory continues to take careful and loving care of my puppy Scout, who can be a handful. I come home to a happy and tired puppy in the evenings. Cory does a great job of letting him run and burn off energy!!”

“This is the first time we used Shana. She responded on very short notice to take care of our senior cat and we could not have been more pleased with the excellent care she provided to our cat. We will be using Shana in the future and would highly recommend her to care for your pet too.”

“We highly recommend Juniper. She has been communicative and doing drop ins on our cat when we are working out of town. We plan to continue using her as our sitter. She sends photos and updates. Our cat is pretty anti social, but Juniper seems to have a way with her.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
