“My boyfriend and my work schedule is super sporadic and random. Oftentimes we need to message Jodie same day. She is ALWAYS so responsive and consistent in getting back to us. She really saves us on busy days. She also is amazing with our dog, Lincoln. I would recommend her to anyone in the Snohomish county area”

“Vanessa was very caring for our three cats while we went out of town for four days. She brought her daughter to do check ins and our cat Kuiper quickly befriended her. She kept our house clean and provided lots of details on how our cats were doing with photos and regular communication which we appreciated I for sure will be hiring Vanessa back in the future.”

“Isaac was reliable, communicative, and took great care of our two cats during their drop-in visits. I appreciated the updates he gave while we were away and would definitely book with him again in the future. Overall, great experience and highly recommend!”

“Was very accommodating with her schedule and did more than we asked (cleaned/vacuumed) while she did visits to check on my cats and tortoise while out of town. Would 100% recommend her and only choose her in the future. Also great pricing!”

About: I’ve been around dogs of different breeds my entire life and I have experienced that they typically gravitate towards me. I enjoy meeting and interacting with them. I bring a view of respecting their environment and what they need to need to feel safe and comfortable. I have a schedule that allows me to be available most parts of the day to help out with daily/weekly care. Whether it is drop ins or routine walks. I respect the family’s home and space, and will follow the house rules for pet care. If there are any specific instructions to be provided, they will be carried out.
“Rachael was amazing. She and her husband took care of my kitty. My cat is fairly high maintenance with an injection medication and an oral medication, but Rachael handled it so well! My cat takes a while to warm up to people, but he felt very comfortable with Rachael. When I returned home, he was relaxed and happy. Thank you Rachael for everything!”
“Julia took great care of my pet over the weekend! She kept me well updated with photos and made sure she was happy and well loved! I felt completely at ease knowing my pet was in such good hands. Highly recommend her!”

“As always, Alyssa provided excellent care for our kitties Tuya and Beans. We also appreciate the detailed updates and pictures. Thanks Alyssa and the boys will see you soon!”

About: Hi, I’m Star! ⭐️ I’ve spent years caring for my own pets and helping out with friends’ pets when needed. I know every animal has a different personality, and I love getting to know what makes them happy. Whether that’s walks, playing fetch, belly rubs, or just hanging out together, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away! 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my routine as a pet owner myself. I’m available any day of the week, with morning availability on weekdays and a flexible schedule on weekends. I’ll follow any instructions you leave for feeding, medications, routines, and anything else your pet needs. I’ll make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and well cared for, and I’ll treat your home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine.
“Ethan was wonderful and very attentive to my cat’s needs. His communication was excellent from the start, and I felt completely at ease leaving my cat in his care. Would definitely book his services again!”

“Kaitlyn was fantastic with our two cats. She was always communicative and left detailed visit info. House was in perfect order when we got home from our trip. She also went above and beyond with spraying the ants that showed up and watering our garden.”

About: I’ve cared for two rescue dogs of my own - my first was a chihuahua mix with separation anxiety, and my second was an high energy Australian cattle dog. I loved them deeply. While I haven’t adopted again, I regularly pet-sit for family and friends and make a point to visit animal rescues around the world. Your pets will be in good hands with me. I understand they’re family, each with their own personality, quirks, and needs. If you have special instructions, I’ll follow them thoroughly - I’m dependable, attentive, and detail-oriented. I also love being active, especially walking, so I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, attention, and care. I’ll be in Washington for the summer with a very open and flexible schedule. After nearly a year of traveling around Asia, I’ve really been missing being around animals - caring for pets is my way of reconnecting with that nurturing side of myself. I genuinely love having animals around. While I’m currently building an online business, I’ll be spending most of my time at home, so your pet will get plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. My home is set up with your dog’s comfort and safety in mind. We have a fully fenced backyard for secure outdoor play, and we’re just minutes from the park for daily walks and adventures. We also have a shy, timid cat at home - so dogs who are cat-sensitive do best here. For added peace of mind, I can keep pets in a separate bedroom if needed. Your dog won’t just be watched - they’ll be part of the family. Everyone in my home is an animal lover, pets are welcome on the furniture, and your pup can sleep in the bed just like they do at home.
About: I’ve had dogs small and large since I was 12. From Chihuahuas to a German Shepherd. I have experience taking care of and walking dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’d love to take your dog or dog(s) for a lovely walk or drop by to check in on them while you’re out for the day. I currently work from home and have the company of my two dogs, Sol (a very dog friendly terrier mix rescue) and King (a sweet pitbull brindle mix rescue). With summer coming to a close I can walk dogs at mostly anytime of the day. I currently do not offer in home doggy day care or boarding, but can work with you for drop ins. I work from home most days with a flexible schedule so I can make mostly any time work for a drop in!
“Kaylee & Brian were great. They replied promptly, showed up on-time and took great care of our dogs. They went above and beyond. Would recommend and plan to have them watch the ? again.”

About: I have tons of paid experience watching animals for friends and family. Including dogs of all sizes, cats, guinea pigs, and even chickens. I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life. My love for animals has only grown as I’ve gotten older! I’m currently employed at a seasonal job at a baseball park, averaging only a handful of shifts a month. This allows me plenty of flexibility to take care of your pets! I am well equipped to care for your furry friends and respect your home! I have experience in house sitting and have lived with a dog/s my whole life. I am well accustomed to the care and attentiveness that goes into being in someone else’s house whilst pet sitting.
“Amanda is so great! She went out of her way to meet with us multiple times to make sure we were comfortable and treated our girls as her own. We rarely both leave our girls at the same time, so we had a lot of anxiety but Amanda was just so great. Thank you! ♥️”

About: I’ve taken care of my dog since I was 7. I had a pug and a french bulldog all my life in Indonesia. We don’t have our own dog at the moment and would love to take care of your dog. My husband and I are working from home from Monday to Friday. We wake up at 6 AM and start working at 7 AM. We can adjust your dog’s needs to our schedule since our working schedule is quite flexible. Although we don’t have pets at home, we are willing to let your dog play around the house and crate them when needed. Our place is neat and spacious, your dog can play around as they want!

Rodney has been amazing with Simba! He’s reliable, communicative, and genuinely cares about him. Simba always comes home happy and well exercised, and I especially look forward to Rodney’s visit notes because they’re absolutely hilarious. They always make me laugh after a long day while still giving thoughtful updates about how the walk went. It’s clear he pays attention to Simba’s personality and takes great care of him. We’re so grateful to have found Rodney and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, dependable, and fun Rover walker!

Sarah was fantastic. She took such great care of our 11 week puppy. It’s always a little nerve racking leaving such a young puppy in someone else’s care but she took great care of Charlie! Charlie loved Sarah! She gave great updates and the cutest pictures. It was great to not have to worry that our baby was being well taken care of. She even kept the house clean and washed the puppy’s bowl every day! Would absolutely suggest to others and plan to book again!

We had a great experience with Mary. She took such great care of our dogs while we were away, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in good hands. We were able to fully enjoy our trip without worrying because we knew our dogs were happy, safe, and well cared for. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter!

My boyfriend and my work schedule is super sporadic and random. Oftentimes we need to message Jodie same day. She is ALWAYS so responsive and consistent in getting back to us. We use Penny to dog sit for our "senior"(vet used adjective which I refuse to accept) frenchie. She is compassionate and goes out of her way to make sure he is comfortable and to make sure we feel that he is in good hands. We would recommend Penny to anyone looking for a reliable sitter. Thanks Penny!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
