We realized we still have so much love, structure, and care to give. We started Rover to offer the kind of high-quality, calm, and attentive care we always hoped to find for our own dog. We understand how deeply personal it is to leave your dog in someone else’s care because we’ve been there ourselves. 🐶 Why We Aren't Your Average Rover - Exclusive Care: We host only one client at a time. Your dog gets our undivided attention - no juggling multiple packs. - Always Home: We work from home and coordinate schedules so your pup is never left alone. We even order grocery in when your pup stays with us. - Peaceful Environment: No kids and no other pets in the home, a calm space for your dog to relax. - Tons of Updates: Expect to be "spammed" with photos, updates, and a detailed end‑of‑day summary so you never have to wonder how they are doing. 🐾 Our Experience Goes Beyond the Basics Evan grew up with cats, Malamutes and mixed breeds, while Sydney was raised with a Maltese. We are comfortable with sizes ranging from toy pooch to gentle giants. We also have done drop-in care for our friends & neighbors' cats & dogs. We understand the importance of patient, predictable care, especially for older dogs or those who simply prefer a quieter pace. We’re also comfortable caring for large breeds and dogs who prefer humans over other dogs. 🏠 Important Note for New Client with 40lb+ Pup We require overnight guests more than 40lb+ to be fully crate-trained and comfortable sleeping downstairs in the living room. Since our bedroom is on the second floor, we are not the right fit for the large pups who need to sleep in the bedroom or in bed with humans (we are not able to carry 40lb+ pup up and down stairs 😥 safely). This policy ensures your pup's safety, preventing slips, falls, and joint strain when going up and down the hardwood stairs. Every stay begins with a required Meet & Greet to ensure a mutual fit. We want everyone - both humans and pups - to feel safe, comfortable, and confident before booking! 🐶 Daily care includes: - Minimum of 2 walks per day, adjusted based on your dog’s age, energy level, and preferences - Plenty of companionship, playtime, and rest - A routine that mirrors your dog’s normal schedule as closely as possible - We live near beautiful trails in a very dog-friendly community and love tailoring walks to each dog’s needs. We intentionally limit care to one dog at a time so we can maintain the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and comfort. 🏡 Our home is: - Calm and quiet - Kids free - Fenced-in yard with plenty of green space in the community - Cleaned professionally at least once a month to ensure a consistently fresh environment - Reset between stays so each dog arrives to a clean, stress-free space 📝 We follow your instructions closely, from feeding and walking schedules.

Over the years, I have cared for pets belonging to family, friends, and neighbors. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, preferences, and any special instructions so they receive care that's consistent with what they're used to at home. I am comfortable administering medication, following feeding schedules, crating when requested, and accommodating pets with specific needs. Growing up around animals on a farm has taught me how to read their behavior, stay patient, and create a calm environment where they feel safe and cared for. “I was glad Paris was available to watch my cat while I was traveling during the busy holiday season. It was a relief to know someone would check on Clover everyday, allowing her to stay in a familiar environment. Paris sent me lots of pictures which I really appreciated and provided updates on how things were going. She communicated well about her schedule so we could plan with flexibility and even stayed a bit longer on some drop ins to give extra attention to the kitty. She also asked questions when unsure and was great about responding to my messages, questions, and suggestions. Luckily after the first couple days, I didn’t feel as anxious about leaving my cat at home or needing to check in on her too much, which made for a more restful vacation. Paris showed she was comfortable with taking care of cats - feeding, watching behaviors, tidying the litter box, etc. My kitty gave her some trouble with taking pills, so we opted to just do meds in the food to be safe. Despite that hiccup, they made good friends quickly and got lots of cuddle time and some play sessions. I know Clover was happy to see her everyday for food and lap time. And I was happy to stay updated each day. Additionally, Paris did well managing the entry/exit and security of my house responsibly. She was kind to forgive the clutter and everything seemed in place when I returned. And I think our working together helped keep things as normal as possible for my cat while I was away. Of course we pet parents might always prefer to be the ones always watching after them, but it’s great to have good supplemental caregivers when you need them. About: I am an animal lover of all kinds (except snakes 😅) I have had farm animals and dogs and cats of all kinds. I have years of nanny experience as well. currently, I own a hoard of goats as well as a three-year-old English bulldog. The goats live at an offsite farm. It's just my twin sister and I and Ludacris. He does have the availability to go stay at my mom's overnight if we ever watch dogs that would prefer some more space. my sister and I work from home full-time and have extremely flexible schedules. Your pet would never be home alone for too long. and would never have to go too long without a potty break. My back yard is fenced in. I let my dog in all rooms and on all furniture. We kiss our animals on the face and talk to them like humans. We are definitely the crazy animal ladies. The first trick we taught our goat was Kiss. your animal will be snuggled and loved on the entire time you are gone.

My husband works from home so he can take care of our little guys while I take care of yours. Happy to stay with your little friends for most of the day and to stay over if your prefer. I am comfortable with taking dogs for walks or playing in your backyard. Very happy to hang with your dogs or cats whether they want to play, exercise, relax or snuggle. Very familiar with walks, food schedules, crating if desired, and medicine if needed.
