I have always had dogs in my life, most recently our Dachshund who was with us for 16 years (and had the special qualities that come with weiner dogs 😁). I have also provided drop in petcare for dogs, and provided long-term in home pet sitting for families. I am a Kindergarten teacher who is taking some time off after 25 years. My career has required that I am reliable, caring, and patient. I also understand that your dog is your family member. You can feel confident that I will keep them safe and love them until you are home again! I look forward to meeting your furry family member!

Schedule
I have a flexible schedule during the week and spend my days at home so your dog will have a lot of company! I am available for walks, overnight boarding at my house (no pets, no kids, no smoking) or drop in visits to give your dog a break, food, exercise, or attention during the day... whatever your goal is for the visit.

At my home I have a large yard and I also live next to beautiful trails and parks for walks. I would love to spend time outside being active with your dog. At your home, I am happy to learn your preferences regarding navigating coming in to care for your pet and what your goal is for the visit. In either scenario I will provide pictures and updates.
A typical day
I will provide a good mix of activity and attention while taking care of your dog at my house. I am mostly at home during the day, so I am free for walks, time in the yard, car rides, and some relaxation and belly rubs...whatever your pup likes best!
