“Noelle is such a wonderful, loving sitter! First time booking with rover and I am so thankful she booked with me! My lil pup loves her and has helped him with keeping with potty training, short walks outside, and even train him! I would definitely rebook! I actually booked for the entire month and I am glad that my pup has someone like her since I can’y be with him all the time. Thanks Noelle!”

“Really sweet guy! Was super respectful of my home, followed all instructions, really thorough description of how my cat was doing each visit, and she seemed very comfortable with him! We already decided we will hire Cameron for any future cat sitting needs and recommend you do the same!”
About: Hello animal lovers! I grew up with dogs. First was a Golden Retriever then several Old English Mastiffs to follow. I adore big dogs and know they are gentle giants. I also adore "smaller dogs" too, those under 125lbs (ha!) I have been dog sitting on and off for about 15 years. About me, I'm responsible, mature, reliable and fun, your dog will love me. I'm happy to play fetch or snuggle your pooch, whatever is best for them. I am a care taker by trade so your pup will be in good hands. I am able to spend most of the day with your pup on longer stays. I am looking forward to meeting you and your dog soon! Pet care is my main job right now so I will have plenty of time to take care of your pet whether at home or on a walk. I cannot currently board pets or do doggy day care but am happy to come to your home to care for any of your pets.
“Lenny loves Samantha. She is so patient with my 9mo old golden. She is so helpful working with him and teaching him things. She is so friendly and reliable. I am so grateful to have found her!”

“So glad Tabitha was able to help me out! She is amazing and i will definitely be using her again! My dogs are very clingy to me with one being uncertain and it was great to see them enjoy their time with Tabitha! Dogs know a lot about people! You can’t go wrong trusting your pups with her!”

“My cats did very well with Elena. My previous trip they had extreme separation anxiety and hid every time the sitter came over. This time with Elena they came out most times and seemed significantly more relaxed. wonderful!”

“I would happily recommend Alexandra to anyone! She was so easy to work with, very communicative, timely and reliable. We have a 65 pound Staffy who is high energy (our last dog walker quit cuz she was "to much" for him) and Alexandra was able to work with us and handle her wonderfully! We will continue working with her in the future anytime we need someone to watch our pup. 😊”

About: I have loved and cared for dogs my whole life! I have volunteered at the Humane Society for several years walking dogs and making them feel loved. I also have taken in stray cats and made them feel special! I currently do not work so I am available anytime to see your pet! I love taking care of animals and seeing them makes my day! I live in an apartment complex with a dog park right outside! I have 2 cats but one is very skiddish and hides and my other cat is very friendly and outgoing and loves meeting new friends!
“Amazing sitter! Brittany took care of our cats so well, played with them, and gave them lots of love when we couldn't. She sent lots of pictures and we knew they were in good hands!”

About: My family has two dogs, one Labrador (11 years old) and one mixed breed (12 years old), so I have extensive experience taking care of medium to large dogs. I can help out with your pets all day on weekends! For weekdays, I'm fully available between 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM. This is the perfect time for me to stop by for drop-in feeding visits or take your dogs out for a nice walk after my day wraps up. Since I'll be coming to your place for walks and feeding, I always make sure your doors are locked tight and leashes are secure before we head out. I've handled plenty of cats and big dogs, so I know how to keep things safe, calm, and fun for them.
“Julia is very kind and professional! She did drop in visits for our cat Malley and our dog Lucy while we were out of town for a week. This was our first time using Rover and we were a little nervous about having a stranger in our house and leaving our fur babies for so long. Julia made the experience very seemless and worry-free. She was very good at communicating and provided daily updates and photos of all our pets, including some pets we have in terrariums. She even watered some plants for us! Overall we had a wonderful experience with Julia as our sitter and we will be booking her again in the future. Highly recommend her!”

“Vittoria was fantastic! We needed a cat sitter last minute, and despite some unexpected issues getting everything set up through Rover, she was incredibly patient and understanding throughout the process. She took great care of our cat, Momo, making sure she was fed, played with, and well looked after. We really appreciated Vittoria's reliability, kindness, and excellent communication. We loved all the photos too! We'd happily book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter!”

“Marysa was so amazing, and took such great care of my kitties and home while I was away for an extended trip. She was great with communication, and I had no worries about my girls while I was gone. Highly recommend Marysa!”

“Erica was such a pleasure to work with and my cats seemed to enjoy each of her visits from the photos she shared. I will definitely reach out to her again the next time I need a cat sitter.”

About: Dog and cat owner for over 18 years. I also have had hermet crabs and an axolotl - love all animals! They all have a unique personality and it's so fun to get to know them. Just a girl who was not able to have animals as a child so I have an entire adulthood to make up for that surrounding myself with the best creatures out there - animals! We can learn so much as people from animals and showing how we care for animals reflects who we are. I currently am a mom at home with kids in school so I have availability during the day and am flexible for evenings as well. I have a dog, 2 cats and an axolotl. It's important animals feel safe with me so I let them take the lead and I engage with them when they show they are ready. I'm happy to do what you as the client feel comfortable with and need for your fur babies to feel safe and comfortable.
“Kristen is wonderful at taking care of Coco. She went above and beyond to make sure he is taken care of and even offer to walk him at every visit. Coco has such a great time and felt so comfortable with her. I enjoy reading the notes and seeing pictures of Coco. Thank you so much Kristen!”

“Our furr baby was well taken care of by Amanda. Our cat cuddled with her and loved all on her. She also helped with the mail and trash. Definitely someone who knows how to love and care for your pets and home.”

“I was so happy to have Meaghan cat sit for us! She was responsive, and willing to help out with short notice! She took such good care of our cats while we were away! She did extras that I'm noticing as I walk through the house.”

Yishan did a fantastic job looking after our kitten over the 5 visits! She was super nice, attentive, and very responsible. Our kitten was so happy, relaxed, and well-cared for. We truly appreciated the clear communication and photo updates. Will definitely book her again next time!

We absolutely love Rodney! He takes such great care of Simba and truly treats him like one of his own. He’s incredibly attentive, reliable, and always keeps us updated with detailed reports, which gives us so much peace of mind. Simba is always so happy to see him, and it’s obvious how comfortable he is with Rodney. We feel so lucky to have found someone we trust so much with our boy! 😊❤️

Mckenna is amazing! She is very communicative and flexible. My cat is quite shy and typically hides while I’m away but she made him feel so comfortable that he came out to spend time with her each day. I am so grateful that she took such good care of him, it made traveling substantially less stressful knowing that he was safe and getting some love.

Jaevin was very thorough during his visits, even though one of our kitties would run from strangers, he still made a great effort to make sure she was comfortable and accounted for. I felt really good leaving our felines in his hands, highly recommend and will definitely book again in the future!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
