A lifetime of experience caring for cats and dogs in home settings. I have spent 8+ years working with horses, livestock, cats, and dogs in larger-scale settings, including boarding facilities and vet hospitals. I currently work at an emergency vet hospital, so I have current and thorough experience caring for animals with a wide range of health conditions, from neonate to senior. Proficient in medication administration including oral/topical/injectable medications AND subcutaneous fluids!

For your pets to best enjoy their time while you’re away, sticking close to their usual routine is essential. This often eliminates excess anxiety to change, and it can prevent potential accidents in the house. With younger pets or those of higher activity levels, lots of playtime and exercise is a priority! I will likely inquire about your pet’s daily schedule and will work to stick as close to your pet’s routine as possible.

Sarah was a total rock star with Chekhov and Kalinka. She helped troubleshoot all the automatic feeder nonsense that happened. I would have her back to take care of them every single time I go out of town!
Sarah was a perfect fit for our family as a house sitter and cat sitter. She took great pictures and went out of her way to keep our home fresh and clean for us when we got back. She’s fun and personable and was quick to bond with Professor and accommodate his many quirks. I would hire her again in an instant.
Ivy & Jelly Bean had great care from Sarah. Even our skittish cat let her pet her which is highly unusual. She kept us updated with pictures and video during her stay. Our home was in immaculate condition when we came home and the dogs content.
Sarah is fantastic! My cat has special needs (although you’d never know) so I’m super particular about who watches my boy. That said, I would request her to watch my kitty again, hands down! She followed directions, was super communicative, and allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation without worrying about our cat the whole time. We got back and Leo was screaming his head off because he missed us, but we know Sarah spent the time to sit with him and give him love and we all couldn’t appreciate that more. (Thank you, Sarah!)

I currently offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking! I work most weekends but am not usually gone more than eight hours on days I work.
