About: I have taken care of hundred of dogs over the last few years, ranging from 10 week old puppies to senior pups and I truly love getting to know each and every one of them. I currently have 3 pups of my own (Angus, Fergie and Logie) and pride myself on treating your pet, just like they are my own. I work from home full time doing pet care, I am with the dogs that come from daycare and overnight care 24/7, so your pets are never alone or left unattended while they are in my care. I have lots of experience walking dogs of all sizes, traveling to bring dogs to their furever home, and taking care of other animals in your home too, if needed for stop in visits. We have 3 dogs of our own, Angus, Fergie and Logie (don't worry they are all under 20lbs) but they love to play with each other and other dogs so your dogs get lots of energy out while they are here with me! My house is completely pet friendly and I always treat your dog just the way you tell me too! Our yard is huge, completely fenced in and secure in both the front and back, so no need to worry about them while you are away! I'm currently doing this as my full-time job so I will spend all day with them, giving them all the love they need and rightfully deserve! Fully fenced yard in both front and back, dogs can come and go inside and out as they please! When I walk your dog, I always make sure to enter and exit your house securely so the pet has no chance of escaping and double leash while I walk so they are always on a back up leash :)
About: Hi pet parents! 🙂I have been working in the animal welfare and veterinary industry for 8+ years. The bulk of my experience is in animal sheltering, but I’ve also worked in wildlife rehabilitation, doggy daycare, and in a veterinary clinic. I have experience with a variety of medical care, kitten and puppy care, pet first aid, and managing pet emergencies. I’ve also managed several cases of lost foster pets through my most recent professional role and returned the pets to safety. I have a lot of patience for pets experiencing stress, and enjoy utilizing my skill set to try to comfort them. Additionally, I have experience working with dogs and cats with behavioral challenges, and am happy to welcome those pets into my care on a case-by-case basis. I do not, however, utilize aversive tools for behavior modification and I’m not comfortable using them on client’s pets. This includes prong/ pinch collars, shock/bark collars, squirt bottles, and any other training tool that modifies behavior based off of punishment. I’ll be happy to share more about what I prefer using if you’re interested! I am currently taking time off from a full-time role so I’m available tonight be very present with your pet(s)! I do have 2 cats of my own that I will need to drop in and care for but that shouldn’t take a significant amount of time out of my day. I have a lot of applicable experience and training that allows me to take excellent care of your pets! Additionally, I have a natural safety mindset geared at protecting both my human and my pet clients. I’ve managed countless medical emergencies, lost pets, and safely broken up conflict in between pets as a part of my profession. I’m a very responsible and detail-oriented person overall.
“My cats obviously loved Gargi! My semi-feral, shy Jasper hides from EVERYone, but not from Gargi! She may be the only other person who can pet him. It’s so important to have someone the cats like and trust. I hope Gargi will be available every time I travel.”

“Rebecca took wonderful care of Kiwi and despite my pup not being bf willing to go on a leash, Rebecca kept her very entertained with backyard hang time to enjoy the sunshine during drop ins.”

“Noelle is such a wonderful, loving sitter! First time booking with rover and I am so thankful she booked with me! My lil pup loves her and has helped him with keeping with potty training, short walks outside, and even train him! I would definitely rebook! I actually booked for the entire month and I am glad that my pup has someone like her since I can’y be with him all the time. Thanks Noelle!”

“Easy choice, would book again. Glad we picked Miranda to watch our shy little house panther. He warmed up to her better than most people and she kept an eye on everything we needed. It was great to have peace of mind while traveling.”

She was very prompt with each visit and I could tell that when I got back home my Bailey Mae was very well taken care of as she was calm and purring and lovey. Kali did a fantastic job paying close attention to detail and following instructions for feeding and cleaning out the litter box and she went above and beyond to help bring my trash cans in and watering my plants. Annie is so incredibly sweet and great with dogs!! My two dogs really loved her and she made me feel at ease with pictures/updates! Very communicative, understanding, kind, and all around a good human being. Will definitely keep her in mind for future bookings.

JR was awesome! My 2 golden retrievers were well taken care of. Updates included lots of pictures and verification of all the important things to make me feel totally at ease while they were in her care. I always knew they got outside exercise, had water, got some extra love and hugs and were fed. I came home to happy pups. Will definitely book JR again.

Elaina is the best! We had her hang out (1 hour check in) with our dogs while we had a day trip, and she was wonderful. Our dogs were very happy and she worked with them on training, so they had great manners when we came home!! We will definitely rebook again and our dogs can't wait to see her again!

Sarah has been absolutely wonderful with Tofu! We had weekly visits while we were at the office and Sarah has always been incredibly reliable, communicative, caring, and flexible with scheduling. We always had total peace of mind knowing our pup was in great hands. We are moving across town and are so sad to have to look for a new sitter. Highly recommend!

Jessica came for a drop-in visit for our dog, Mazzy. She played frisbee with her, let her have a dip in her pool and wiped her down before coming back in the house. It was great knowing that we could count on Jessica to give our dog a break and some attention while we were gone for the day. We will definitely hire her again. Thanks Jessica!

Summer’s care was excellent. Would highly recommend and book again! She did drop in visits with our Labrador twice a day for a week and we could not be happier. Her care was excellent, updates were timely and always had photos as requested. Our home was well taken care of and Emma our dog well fed and happy and healthy when we returned!

Kayla, you have taken such a good care of Kiki ever since we took her home when she was around 8 weeks old. You have shown tremendous amount of patience and kindness when dealing with a such small puppy and a Shiba Inu breed. You have been a very reliable, trustworthy and caring Rover. Now you are moving out of the area, we wish you all the best and would recommend your service without any hesitation. Anyone would be luckily to have you take care of their pets. Thank you and best of luck Kayla! Kiki and all of us will miss you.

I reached out to Abby last minute to request two weeks worth of drop in visits for my dogs. She was always fast to respond, great with my dogs, and gave me detailed updates each visit. I am so appreciate of all her help and will definitely be booking with her again in the future. I highly recommend Abby for your pet care needs!
