I am fully self-employed so my schedule is flexible for most situations. I can drop in to care for (or walk) your pet while you are at work or away for extended periods of time. I always send daily photos to show they are being loved while you are gone! No one knows your pet better than you, so I always make sure I pay attention and heed the advice and instructions of the owner about how their pet likes to be treated. Some dogs love to be played with and perform tricks to get treats, while other dogs are nervous or in the process of learning not to jump on people when they first walk in. Likewise, cats have very different personalities and must be treated as indiviuals. Some cats run to the door like a dog to be greeted and picked up, while others would prefer to be left alone since you are not their human (though I usually win them over quickly!).

About: I’ve had situations where I’ve help dogs give birth and even accompanying them through death, I’ve been through love and heartbreak with these beautiful creatures and plan on making their experience through life an amazing journey for them. I myself have a big pitbull who requires much love and attention and I always do everything in my hands to keep her heart and tummy always full. We have this mutual care for eachother, she takes care of me and I take care of her. I personally prefer to care for your furry friend at home because at my home I have a pitbull who is not at all friendly with other animals and I feel more comfortable caring for pets at their owners home for this very reason.

I live on a fairly busy street so the focus is on the backyard and I have pets on leash if not in my backyard. Leashes for walks. I change fresh water twice a day and adhere to feeding requests. I am concerned about hot pavement and find other opportunities to get pets their needed exercise in summer months. I am familiar with senior care. Have direct experience with SQ fluid infusions, IM injection, and oral routes with liquid and tablet/capsules.

About: I grew up with 2 cats and I’ve been a dog parent for over 5 years. I have a Shiba and a golden retriever. I often dog-sit for friends and I’ve gained a lot of experience with different breeds. My wife and I always put our dogs at highest priority. We love them from our heart and respect them as individuals with personalities. I’m working part time from home. So my schedule is very flexible and I have a lot of time taking care of your pups. Typically my day starts at 7:00 with 30 minutes feeding the dogs and letting them out to backyard. Through out the day, I work in the basement and let dogs out to backyard or play with them when they reach out to me. Typically they go to the backyard 4 times a day. In either morning or early afternoon (based on the rains), I take them out for 1.5 hour walk. My day ends around 11:00 pm and we make sure dogs do last round of potty before we go to sleep. On each weekend (typically Saturday), we’d go to some park farther from home that has a 2~4 hour trail. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced yard. I’m home full time and can attend any of your dogs need. We have two floors in the house and two entries to backyard to keep our dogs and yours separated. Most likely our dogs will stay on the first floor. Your dogs and I will stay in the basement where there’s open office, 6 seats sofa, 1 TV, and some extra open space. The basement has direct access to the fenced backyard. If you’d like your dog to make friends with ours. We’d take them out to outside Sniffspot for their first meetup. Our dogs have opposite personalities. So whichever type of friend your dog wants to hang out with, we got one ;) Please share as much detail about your pets as you can if you’re a new customer. We’ll follow your instructions to care for them and send pictures everyday.

About: I am a mom, a semi-retired ex-Nordi employee, and am currently a part-time school bus driver, and I understand the importance of providing great service and of being responsible for the safety of others' loved ones. I bring extensive experience owning and caring for dogs, having grown up with, dog-sat, and owned various breeds. I love all dogs and have a special place in my heart for bully and pittie-mix breeds. My 2+ years of volunteer experience at PAWS have also provided me with valuable experience caring for dogs with different temperaments and personalities. I've taken dog-training classes at Ahimsa in Ballard, where I learned positive, force-free training techniques. Additionally, I have owned and cared for Cats, Sun Conures, Guinea Pigs, Beta fish, and even an Axolotl! As a part-time school bus driver, I am home a lot on weekdays, always home in the evenings, and on weekends. Your precious pup(s) will have near round-the-clock attention! I have also done dog-sitting at the owner's house. Our house is pet-safe, with a spacious, fully fenced backyard, and is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac within a quiet neighborhood. We currently have no pets of our own and live in a stable, friendly household. I will not board more than one dog at a time UNLESS they are from the same household/owner; in that case, I can board up to 2 dogs. The cul-de-sac is pet-free, so your dog will be safe and secure while they are showered with loving attention and treated with the utmost care & kindness. They'll enjoy a comfortable pet bed, toys, playtime, walks, and their favorite meals. If they like to visit the dog park and you'd like them to get some doggie playtime, I'm happy to accommodate! Frequent walks needed? No problem! Special Dietary/Medication needs? OK! Need a Zoomie-session? All-in. Quiet time & snuggles on the couch needed? 100% YES. In addition, I'm always very happy to provide you with many updates and photos during their stay!

About: If you want your pup to be treated like a family member while you're gone, we're ready to shower them with affection! We believe that every couch, walk, or nap is better with a dog, and love interacting with dogs of all kinds. We are lifetime dog owners, and have particular experience with dachshunds. As foster dog parents for several local rescue organizations, we have welcomed many foster dogs into our home, helped them prepare for the future, and rejoiced when they found their forever family. We especially love senior dogs and are experienced with medication administration and senior dog health issues. We have a two-adult home with semi-flexible work schedules. While you're gone you can expect frequent texts or emails with pictures and updates on your pet. I’m currently working from home so can tailor my schedule to your dog’s needs! We walk daily so exercise will be part of their day too. I do my best to maintain the regular routines of the dogs we watch and make sure all their physical and emotional needs are met.
