“Nancy took great care of my two cats while I was out of town, including giving one of my cats medicine. She also kindly watered my plants! I will definitely be requesting her services again.”

“Really great experience using Yomna. Even though this was her first time caring for my dog Aurora, she is clearly experienced working with active dogs and can adjust to her activity level. Very good at providing updates. Very satisfied.”
“Kendal did a great job watching our two dogs while we were away on vacation. We hired her for drop in visits and the dogs loved her! Kendal came to our house around the same time every day to give our dogs some love, a walk, and food and water. We received fun photos and a written update on how they were doing, which was so nice! We will definitely be using her again for our upcoming vacations! Thanks Kendal!”

“Lynlee is awesome! She is excellent with communication and bonded with our cats in no time. She was even able to give one of our wily cats her meds; not an easy feat! Can't ask for a better cat sitter. Thank you, Lynlee!”

“Venessa was absolutely wonderful with Pepper! From the moment we met her, she was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure Pepper was comfortable and well taken care of while we were away. She followed all of our care instructions carefully, kept everything clean, and gave us so much peace of mind throughout the weekend. It’s clear she has a real love for animals, and Pepper was in great hands. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat, and we truly appreciated the communication and reliability the entire time. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate Rover sitter!”

“Jenna was wonderful with my dog! She let me know how he was doing and sent plenty of pictures. I would absolutely book Jenna again to care of my dog!”

“The cats had a GREAT time with Lu. We asked her to come watch our cats while we were out of town and our elder cat had such a great relaxing time that he actually gained a few pounds and is looking like he enjoyed the time greatly. Got great pictures and updates for every visit and would definitely hire again!”

“Gail has been a great sitter for my two dogs. She has been reliable and friendly and you can tell she also cares for and enjoys my animals. I would highly recommend working with Gail on any dog sitting needs.”

“Hannah and David have watched our dogs many times. They are great at communicating and are very reliable. My dogs can be high maintenance and one of my dogs is very scared with new people. Hannah is great with both dogs which is very reassuring. Hannah and David are the people I trust the most to look after our dogs.”

“Tyler was awesome while taking care of our cat Sparty!! He was super communicative and we loved getting our daily photo updates from him! We will definitely be booking with Tyler again in the future!”

“Bevan was very good to my Cairo. Before we booked her, I was very clear with my Cairo’s needs & what we wanted on a sitter. We were looking for someone to regularly take care of Cairo every few months. We did a m&g and she asked very pertinent questions. We did the first drop in and everything went smoothly and fine. She’s very professional, seems very patient & like she knows what she’s doing. We’ve decided that we’re going to continue to book her regularly for Cairo’s care. I’m very appreciative of her.”

About: I’m a professional who works from home, and have flexibility in my day to come and drop in on your furry family members. I have had four Bernese mountain dogs, but I love all breeds and sizes. My “best cat friend” lived with me for 17 wonderful years, and I appreciate both lap cats and cats who prefer to love you from a distance. My top priority is making your pet feel safe and comfortable with me before we go and have some fun! I'm experienced with old and stubborn dogs, as well as young crazy puppies. I also have had cats for the majority of my life, ancient and young. I have been pet sitting for roughly 15 years, chiefly dogs and cats. I'm easy to get into contact with, and more than willing to give daily "pupdates" when I walk or watch your pet. I definitely live by the philosophy that our animal companions are family members, not just pets. Let me know if you have any questions! I work from home M-F, and generally have a flexible schedule. If your pet mostly just needs company, I’m happy to hang out with them and work from your home for a bit. Trust and safety are top priority—pets are our family members, and should be treated as such. I follow each owner's care instructions exactly, including feeding schedules, medication requirements, exercise routines, and any special needs. I use secure leashes, harnesses, and gates as appropriate to prevent escapes. I maintain a clean, calm, and low-stress environment, monitor pets closely for any changes in behavior or signs of illness, and communicate promptly with owners if I notice anything concerning. In the event of an emergency, I contact the owner immediately and seek veterinary care according to their emergency instructions. Trust is built through reliability and transparency, so I provide regular updates, photos, and honest communication throughout the visit or stay. My goal is to ensure every pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for as if they were my own.
“Bryanna was great! This was my first experience with using Rover and I do not regret it. My cats were well taken care of and Bryanna took the time to play with them which gave me the peace of mind I needed while being away. I would highly recommend Bryanna if you’re looking for someone who cares for your pets as if they were her own.”

“My partner and I were so happy with how well our kitty was taken care of by Miranda. We got updates with photos for each visit which we loved and appreciated! We definitely would love to book again in the future 😊”

“Jade did a fantastic job taking care of our cats. She was very diligent about making sure their feeders were working and very patient with our shy kitties. Would absolutely hire again.”

“Noelle is such a wonderful, loving sitter! First time booking with rover and I am so thankful she booked with me! My lil pup loves her and has helped him with keeping with potty training, short walks outside, and even train him! I would definitely rebook! I actually booked for the entire month and I am glad that my pup has someone like her since I can’y be with him all the time. Thanks Noelle!”

“Mary is always my go-to person. She is incredibly caring, thorough, and responsive, which gives me complete peace of mind whenever I’m away. Xiuqi, is amazing! She was great with communication the entire time we were gone. My dogs are super needy and both have their own anxieties and she did great with both of them! She also went above and beyond to make sure everything stayed clean and nice. Would 100% rebook with her and the dogs loved her.

Elaina did an amazing job taking care of my senior blind dog while our family was out of town and I highly recommend her. She did drop in visits, and made sure my dog got food, walks, and pets. It was so nice to get the photos and updates and know our dog was being well taken care of while we were gone. Thanks Elaina!

Annie is so incredibly sweet and great with dogs!! My two dogs really loved her and she made me feel at ease with pictures/updates! Very communicative, understanding, kind, and all around a good human being. Will definitely keep her in mind for future bookings.

JR was awesome! My 2 golden retrievers were well taken care of. Updates included lots of pictures and verification of all the important things to make me feel totally at ease while they were in her care. I always knew they got outside exercise, had water, got some extra love and hugs and were fed. I came home to happy pups. Will definitely book JR again.

Sarah has been absolutely wonderful with Tofu! We had weekly visits while we were at the office and Sarah has always been incredibly reliable, communicative, caring, and flexible with scheduling. We always had total peace of mind knowing our pup was in great hands. We are moving across town and are so sad to have to look for a new sitter. Highly recommend!

Jessica came for a drop-in visit for our dog, Mazzy. She played frisbee with her, let her have a dip in her pool and wiped her down before coming back in the house. It was great knowing that we could count on Jessica to give our dog a break and some attention while we were gone for the day. We will definitely hire her again. Thanks Jessica!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
