About: I admit that I'm new to Rover.com but I cared for my beloved Chloe (60 lb dog) for 16 years and also dog sat for my best friend when she went out of town. Safety is incredibly important to me and I have a fully fenced, private back yard that would love to host your canine family member. I am retired now so can set my own schedule. I am home most of the time but do typically leave the house for an hour or so to exercise each day. When I'm pet sitting, your special pet will be my top priority and I will be able to work my schedule around their needs and your expectations. I have a large, fully fenced, private back yard. I do not require that your pet be crate trained as my dog (she passed away in 2024) was never crate trained. I'm ok with you simply bringing over their dog bed, but if they sleep in a crate, that's fine too. My home's environment is very safe and offers room to roam when they're outside. The one fence line that has a gap between the bottom of the fence and the ground has been covered with wire mesh so even a small dog cannot get out. As a retired person, I'm able to walk your dog as many times / day as you request. As mentioned above, they'll also be free to roam the backyard and I will be with them during that time.

About: Hi! We are Erick and Laura and both grew up in households filled with dogs. We are both fully employed in the tech world, both privileged enough to work from home every day all day which enables us to spend hours on end with our dog as well, and take regular 1-2 hour walks throughout the day. We walk 5 miles minimum a day with our very active australian shepherd, and we actually run a photography and travel business on the side so we are always out doing something fun/cool/active, especially for those dogs looking to integrate into adventurous days while their humans are traveling! We've pet sat many different types of dogs over the years and are capable, motivated and excited to watch your dog! We work from home every day and have very flexible schedules, so we can accommodate pretty much any schedule that your dog needs. We are already frequently at the dog park with our dog as well! We can accommodate any need. If your dog prefers a crate, needs medicines, needs additional support, we can certainly work with you to make sure your dog is happy as possible while you are away. We are also very regular picture takers so will send many happy updates. You may even get professional photos of your dog given Erick's propensity for beautiful photos! :)

About: I have an 9 year old Australian labradoodle, Dundee, that I've raised and trained since she was 9 weeks old. She has environmental allergies so I'm experienced with dietary restrictions and giving injections and oral medication. I only dog sit non-shedding breeds due to allergies. I can flexibly walk your dog and let them out to play in our yard according to their needs. I take my own dog, Dundee, on regular walks everyday so your dog would have a friend to walk with! “Bridgett took really good care of Sidney. She kept us informed about Sidney's well-being at all times and even sent us videos. Overall, the communication was top-notch. Sidney also seemed to have a really good time with Bridgett and her son as she got lots of love and play time.”
“Jesci was amazing with my dog Banjo! She went above and beyond to reduce his anxiety levels and make him feel comfortable. Jesci sent daily updates, which were much appreciated! She displayed great knowledge of dogs and sensitivity to their individual needs. When I went to pick up Banjo, he looked better than when I dropped him off. “Jefferey and Eunice took great care of my 95 lb Great Pyrenees Gunther during the 4 days and 3 nights when we were away. Gunther had a big and clean, well maintained backyard to play in everyday, hanged out on the outdoor patio, and played with their super adorable puppy Spot and another Akita that were boarding there. I honestly think Gunther might have had the best few days of his life lol. He came back to us happy, healthy and looking even cleaner, smelling nicer than when we dropped him off! Most important of all, Jeff and Eunice really cared for Gunther and spent time with him like his family. Their kids played with him and gave him so much love. I was so grateful to receive dozens of photos of Gunther throughout his stay there, knowing that he is happy and safe was such a relief. I would highly recommend this host, better than any boarding facilities out there, 100%.”
