Hi pet parents! 🙂I have been working in the animal welfare and veterinary industry for 8+ years. The bulk of my experience is in animal sheltering, but I’ve also worked in wildlife rehabilitation, doggy daycare, and in a veterinary clinic. I have experience with a variety of medical care, kitten and puppy care, pet first aid, and managing pet emergencies. I have a lot of patience for pets experiencing stress, and enjoy utilizing my skill set to try to comfort them. Additionally, I have experience working with dogs and cats with behavioral challenges, and am happy to welcome those pets into my care on a case-by-case basis. I do not, however, utilize aversive tools for behavior modification and I’m not comfortable using them on client’s pets. This includes prong/ pinch collars, shock/bark collars, squirt bottles, and any other training tool that modifies behavior based off of punishment. I’ll be happy to share more about what I prefer using if you’re interested! * Please be aware that I charge an additional $10/night for geriatric dogs. Geriatric can be defined as 10+ years old for large breeds of dogs and 12+ years old for small breeds of dogs.*

I have a safety mindset geared at protecting both my human and my pet clients. I’ve managed countless medical emergencies, lost pets, and safely broken up conflict in between pets as a part of my profession. I’m a very responsible and detail-oriented person overall.

Catie was an exceptional sitter for our 9month old dog Sage. She stayed in our house for 8 nights and left the space as clean as she arrived. She took great care of Sage, taking her to dog parks and walks. She was attentive and asked questions. She checked in daily. I never had a worry about Sages care. We will hopefully be booking her again in the future.
Catie did an amazing job taking care of my cat Kitty while I was out of town for a week. She was reliable, attentive, and very caring throughout the entire week. She followed instructions closely, never missed a scheduled visit, and always provided detailed updates and pictures. She also went above and beyond to ensure Kitty stayed in a comfortable environment. It was reassuring knowing Kitty was in good hands while I was away. I would definitely recommend Catie to anyone looking for a responsible and trustworthy pet sitter!
Catie cared for my old guy for a week while I was out of town. He presented a couple major challenges and Catie offered possible solutions and kept her sense of humor throughout the ups and downs. I appreciated her professionalism in communicating the issues and general updates. Her patience and overall focus on his well being made me feel very fortunate to have her watching my buddy. I would recommend her as a sitter to any one - and especially those with older quirky pets!
Catie provides great info/updates about my senior doggo after a drop in visit! She's able to give him meds if needed and seems to understand my older guys needs.
Catie is absolutely wonderful and we will absolutely be booking with her again. She has a ton of experience with many types of dogs and you can tell immediately. She was so gentle with our dog that is usually skiddish and so understanding of our very demanding old man English bulldog. She kept our house so clean and went above and beyond everything. She was so understanding of me too and all my worries about leaving the dogs and intricacies that I prefer for them. She is kind and detail oriented and very communicative and sent pictures and messages everyday which put me at so much ease. Thank you Catie!!
Such a wonderful experience working with Catie. She was flexible in the process of setting up meet and greet and very helpful explaining the process as we were new to Rover. She took very good care of our Pepper, gave great updates along with pictures and she left the house absolutely spotless. I would definitely have Catie watch our pets again any day!

Schedule
I am currently taking time off from a full-time role so I’m available to be very present with your pet(s)! I do have 2 cats of my own that I will need to drop in and care for but that shouldn’t take a significant amount of time out of my day.

- I would like to know if your pet has any special needs, what their routine is, what their exercise needs are, and any behavioral challenges they have. I do not expect pets to be perfect, so please don’t hesitate to share the struggles with me. If you have multiple pets, I would like to know how they get along with one another and if there’s any management I need to do to minimize conflict between them.
