About: I'm super passionate about animals and pet care, and I am grateful for every opportunity to hang out with them. I love to spend time getting to know pets, and I am great at adapting to their quirks and needs! As a recent graduate, I'm looking to expand my pet care experience and help people. I'm available all week, and devote most of my time to animals - with my experience including hundreds of hours of pet sitting and dog walking, my role as a wildlife care assistant at PAWS, and experience as a kennel technician at a veterinary clinic! When caring for pets at my house or a client's, I never leave for long periods, and I'm great at staying on top of medication requirements. I am also able to provide pick-up and drop-off services to make things easier for owners.
“Shelly was amazing in getting my shy cat to come out and play. She sent great pictures of my cat, which put me at ease during my vacation. I would 100% use her services again!”

About: I've grown up surrounded by and loving animals. I've been helping care for my family's cats all my life, before adopting a pair of zebra finches (since passed) at ten, and taking over temporary care of my sister's rabbit at fifteen after she left for university. Twice I volunteered to clean up after cats at a local cat show run by the Cat Fanciers Association when I was eleven and twelve. I'm also patient with shy, ill-behaved, and/or high-needs animals. I want them to be healthy, happy, and as comfortable with me as I am with them. I am a university student currently home for the summer in between terms, which means I am available any day weekday through weekend, any time. I can walk, feed, clean up after, play, and medicate any animals as instructed. I can visit any location accessible through a combination of public transit and walking.
“I’m always reluctant to leave reviews unless the services were EXCEPTIONAL and David doesn’t disappoint. Like his other reviews, he’s really communicative. Goes above and beyond. He came to my house for drop in visits. And although he didn’t have to, he cleaned the poop in the backyard and brushed the dogs. He sent me pictures. I also had the wrong address in Seattle (I live in Lynnwood). He drove to Seattle and back and I totally deserved a good complaining BUT instead he replied “no problem” and drove all the way back up to Lynnwood. If anyone is hesitating using David, I wouldn’t!!!!! He’s 200%! Love the guy! He’s so great! And one of my dogs has serious behavioral issues too!”
“Michael took wonderful care of our two cats while we were away for an extended vacation. He took time with them and sent us regular updates, which was very much appreciated. When our plans changed while we were on the road, Michael graciously extended his time with us. What a relief to know our pets were in such capable hands. Highly recommended.”

About: I’ve adored and cared for animals my entire life, from dogs and cats to guinea pigs and chickens! In addition to having many of my own (including currently a cat and two guinea pigs), I have experience pet sitting, walking, bathing, occasionally training, and otherwise looking after the lovely pets of my neighbors, friends, and clients. I’m no stranger to dogs that love to pull or cats that wake you up at 4am, and I would love to meet you and your best friend(s). I will soon be enrolled in a training program to become a certified veterinary assistant. While this will restrict my availability, I will still have plenty of time in my schedule to give your pet the best of care! Starting August 12th I will be taking classes to become a certified veterinary assistant, meaning I will not be able to accept bookings from 6am - 1pm on weekdays. I take being trusted with somebody's pet quite seriously. I have experience with pets with more special needs, and so am equipped to adjust to your pet's unique requirements: be that a different feeding schedule, oral medication, or otherwise!
“Arielle was amazing with my fearful rescue puppy! She was patient, punctual, and sent lots of photos and updates. So nice especially as my puppy is still adjusting to her new life out of the shelter! Much appreciated!!”

About: I’ve lived with and cared for dogs of many breeds for over 10 years. I’ve raised my own dogs and helped care for rescues and friends’ pets. I understand dog behaviour, body language, and how to communicate with them. I’m calm, reliable, and genuinely care about animals. I work from home and am available throughout the day. I can take your dog for walks as needed and give them attention and care without long gaps. My schedule is consistent, so your dog won’t be left alone. I have a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time. My senior dog is calm and friendly with other dogs—she’s never had issues and can be good company. I always keep an eye on interactions and make sure the environment stays low-stress and safe.
“Sara has been very responsive during the entire pet sitting for my cat Yuanbao. She is very kind and patient sitter who loves animals. And she listens carefully to all my special needs for Yuanbao, and she shows up on time for every visit and made sure my bay cat eat and drink and play with him. Would recommend her to all people who look for pet sitter in the future.”

About: Every dog is different with energy and awareness when I take my friend’s dog for a walk, she would need time to sniff around and enjoy the sunshine Right now, I am currently studying in Seattle for helping the family business so I am available from 10 AM to 4pm Monday through Friday I usually would go over to my friends house, play with their dog and feed them and give water and keep an eye on them if they need to go to the restroom or not
“Nathan was extremely helpful watching my dog, taking him on walks, and spending time with him. Very trustworthy, very kind, follows directions well and keeps you informed which meant a lot to me. He was always punctual and very understanding of my concerns. I will definitely be booking him again!”

Elaina is the best! We had her hang out (1 hour check in) with our dogs while we had a day trip, and she was wonderful. Our dogs were very happy and she worked with them on training, so they had great manners when we came home!! We will definitely rebook again and our dogs can't wait to see her again!

Kendra was amazing with our dogs and took great care to communicate and go above and beyond. We didn’t have to worry once during our vacation, as she regularly sent updates and pictures when she’d come by. She even walked them one day, which we greatly appreciated since they love going out! Highly recommend her for anyone needing a dog sitter who wants total peace of mind.

Scott S. was a rockstar pet sitter and we will be booking with him again! We booked last minute and he was super quick to pick up our sitter request. We had him come twice a day to check on our cat and dog. Photo updates with each visit. Couldn't ask for anything better.
I'm a bit of an anxious pet mom because one of my dogs is an energetic husky and the other is a highly reactive dog with a complicated medical history. Abby did an incredible job keeping me updated about how the dogs were doing while I was away, including sending loads of adorable photos. She went above and beyond giving my highly reactive little guy his inhaler twice a day; there are fewer than five people in the entire world that he actually likes and she is one of them. She did a wonderful job ensuring that my energetic husky got the activity and enrichment that she needed to be happy, that my little guy got his medication and cuddles, and that I felt secure the entire time I was gone knowing they were in excellent hands. I can't recommend Abby highly enough.

Olivia was a great dog sitter. She was attentive, showed up on time, and very communicative with us. One of dogs wasn’t feeling very good and she made sure to give him extra attention, even got him to have his pills which is a challenge in itself. I highly recommend her services!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
