About: I have taken care of hundred of dogs over the last few years, ranging from 10 week old puppies to senior pups and I truly love getting to know each and every one of them. I currently have 3 pups of my own (Angus, Fergie and Logie) and pride myself on treating your pet, just like they are my own. I work from home full time doing pet care, I am with the dogs that come from daycare and overnight care 24/7, so your pets are never alone or left unattended while they are in my care. I have lots of experience walking dogs of all sizes, traveling to bring dogs to their furever home, and taking care of other animals in your home too, if needed for stop in visits. We have 3 dogs of our own, Angus, Fergie and Logie (don't worry they are all under 20lbs) but they love to play with each other and other dogs so your dogs get lots of energy out while they are here with me! My house is completely pet friendly and I always treat your dog just the way you tell me too! Our yard is huge, completely fenced in and secure in both the front and back, so no need to worry about them while you are away! I'm currently doing this as my full-time job so I will spend all day with them, giving them all the love they need and rightfully deserve! Fully fenced yard in both front and back, dogs can come and go inside and out as they please! When I walk your dog, I always make sure to enter and exit your house securely so the pet has no chance of escaping and double leash while I walk so they are always on a back up leash :)

“I can’t recommend Abby highly enough! She took care of my cat in the past, and she was incredibly caring, responsible, and trustworthy and I felt completely at ease knowing he was in her care. My older cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes, and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to travel again because of his medical needs. He requires medication, so leaving him behind was a huge source of anxiety for me. He is also very shy and tends to hide from people, so I was especially worried about how he would react to someone else caring for him. Abby was so patient and gentle with him, and he really made significant progress with her. She was able to gain his trust enough to handle him and give him his medication, which was a huge relief for me. Managing a diabetic cat takes extra care and attention and Abby handled everything so well. If anything seemed off with him, she immediately notified me, stayed calm, and worked through the situation and even offered to come check on him again later in the evening to make sure he was okay. Knowing she was so attentive and willing to go the extra mile gave me so much peace of mind and allowed me to actually enjoy my trip without constantly worrying. She also took wonderful care of my kitten and gave her much needed extra playtime and attention, which I really appreciated. My kitten loved Abby’s visits and it was so nice knowing both of my cats were getting the individual care and attention they needed. She sent me daily detailed and hilarious updates with pictures and videos, which I absolutely loved. The updates made me feel connected to my cats while I was away and gave me plenty of laughs along the way. Abby truly goes above and beyond, and it’s clear that she genuinely loves animals. I’m so grateful to have someone I can trust with my cats. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful, compassionate pet sitter, and I will definitely be rebooking with her again.”

“We hired Madison to help with our 1 year old lagotto’s leash reactivity. He’s a frustrated greeter and easily over stimulated on walks. We had been to several excellent dog training classes at Ahimsa, so I wasn’t sure if we’d learn anything that’s new from a trainer. Madison exceeded our expectations and gave us tools we actually use every single day now. For example, pattern games that we could never get to work before, a “paws up” command that’s been a game changer for us. She’s patient, reliable, and just as good at teaching the humans as the dog. We liked her so much we kept going after our two weeks and still work with her regularly on continuous training. She went above and beyond giving my highly reactive little guy his inhaler twice a day; there are fewer than five people in the entire world that he actually likes and she is one of them. She did a wonderful job ensuring that my energetic husky got the activity and enrichment that she needed to be happy, that my little guy got his medication and cuddles, and that I felt secure the entire time I was gone knowing they were in excellent hands.
