About: Hello! We are Hunter and Ellyssa. Just a married couple that grew up with farm animals and loves dogs. Together, we've fostered 4 rescue dogs - some reactive, some super calm - and raised them to become ready for their forever homes! We don't have any pups of our own right now and so we are welcoming all kinds of pups in our home! Ellyssa (uh-Lisa) has taken care of doberman's and dachshunds since she was 11 years old. She loves every type of dog personality and looks forward to dog walks as much as the dogs. She has helped rescue dogs from Mexico and has fostered over 10 dogs of varying ages from 4 months to 13 years old senior dogs. Hunter grew up with 2 golden retrievers named Rosie & Susie and then became a dog trainer for search and rescue dogs in North Carolina. He's helped train puppies up until they were 3 years old and loves to learn about every dog's quirks. We both work flexible remote jobs and spend 6 out of 7 days at home. When we do choose to go in-office, it's usually just to get out of the house. Because of our flexible jobs, we are able to build our schedules around puppy care and senior care needs. We're happy to provide boarding and daycare at our home or at your home! Wherever your pups are most comfortable with. Walking visits are also available if we can arrange a regular schedule so it can be worked into our work calendars! For all services, we will ask you for your dog’s daily routine, their personality quirks, preferences, etc. so they can trust us sooner! And of course, we will send photos! Daycare, housesitting, and overnight stays would be structured around your pup’s existing schedule. Walks and check-ins would occur as close to your pup’s schedule as possible with the time range you choose. We are experienced with both puppies (hard minimum age of 8 weeks) and senior dogs that have a range of diet, potty, and oral medication needs. We are also experienced with reactive dogs with a history of biting. However, we only take reactive dogs on a case-by-case basis after a trial meet and greet walk with you (the human) present. We live in a very pet-friendly apartment complex that has a dog spa station that we use for grooming visiting pups. Our own apartment is a spacious 1100+ square foot 2 bed/2 bath apartment with a patio that has space for up to 2-3 dogs for boarding. We live near a very walkable neighborhoods and 2 parks that are dog friendly. We also live near Edmonds and enjoy taking dogs to the beach if they are a fan of humans and water.
“My cats obviously loved Gargi! My semi-feral, shy Jasper hides from EVERYone, but not from Gargi! She may be the only other person who can pet him. It’s so important to have someone the cats like and trust. I hope Gargi will be available every time I travel.”

About: I adore animals! I grew up with cats and dogs and have cared for them almost my entire life. I have experience petsitting for family, friends and neighbors as well as volunteering with cats at Whatcom Humane Society. I have a kitty of my own named Oswald who is very spoiled. I work at an elementary school and I’m off work for the summer, so petsitting is my only priority! I am available for drop-in visits and walks every day of the week from mornings to nights (with exceptions, but if I am busy on a certain day I will remove it from my calendar). I am patient, calm, and attentive to the needs of animals. I have many years of practice reading the body language of cats and dogs so I will be considerate of your pet’s boundaries if they are feeling shy. I will work hard to help your pet feel as happy and secure as possible in my presence, whether that’s through pets and cuddles, playing, or just softly talking to them so they can get used to hearing my voice. I am also confident in caring for pets other than cats and dogs (rodents, reptiles, fish, etc.) given that they have a detailed care plan. As a child/teen my family had fish, frogs, a parakeet, and even a hedgehog so I’m very comfortable looking after pets of all kinds. I would love the opportunity to meet your pet(s)!

“Kory dropped in at last minute notice to take care of my gang of three. He was very communicative with me about this visit and his patience with my pets even though one was not so welcoming. I have Kory coming back soon to pet sit and after my interactions with him and this drop-in visit, I know my pets will be well taken care of by him.”

“Rebecca took wonderful care of Kiwi and despite my pup not being bf willing to go on a leash, Rebecca kept her very entertained with backyard hang time to enjoy the sunshine during drop ins.”

“Lori was on time and took great care of my pets. Daisy needs some meds 2 times a day and Lori made sure she got them. My two cats were loving on her when she came over for the meet and greet. She even scooped the litter box! That was very unexpected. We communicated on my personal phone number and she sent pics of my happy furry kids. I will be booking with her again when I have to travel.”

“Laurel is so professional, communicative, kind, thorough, and caring! She was available even somewhat last minute to drop in on my two kitties again while I was leaving out of town. Her report cards genuinely made me and my significant other laugh and giggle, omg. I would definitely book with Laurel again and recommend her to anyone who needs someone reliable and trustworthy to care for their babies like their own!!”

“Kimberly is great! She’s easy to work with and very capable. While there were no issues here, I feel like she could handle anything. I appreciate her timely and good communication style. Thumbs up!”

“Venessa was absolutely wonderful with Pepper! From the moment we met her, she was kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure Pepper was comfortable and well taken care of while we were away. She followed all of our care instructions carefully, kept everything clean, and gave us so much peace of mind throughout the weekend. It’s clear she has a real love for animals, and Pepper was in great hands. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat, and we truly appreciated the communication and reliability the entire time. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate Rover sitter!”

“Beau was really great with the dogs! My dogs are super high energy and can be kind of overwhelming at times. Beau was able to play with them and walk them while even working on their behavior. Beau was also very communicative about everything and sent pictures. I would definitely book with Beau again.”

About: Hi! I’m a reliable and caring animal lover with years of experience caring for pets of all ages. I have experience pet sitting and cat sitting, and I understand how important it is to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Recently, I cared for a newborn kitten that required bottle feeding, which taught me patience, attention to detail, and how to care for very young animals. I also helped raise a family puppy, giving me experience with energetic dogs, basic training, potty breaks, and establishing routines. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply having a calm companion around, I will make sure they receive the attention and care they deserve. I treat every pet like they are part of my own family and always prioritize their safety, happiness, and well-being. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I’m currently working part time trying to save up for when I leave for college in the fall. My most availability is in mornings and evenings. Anytime on weekends Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow their normal routine, provide plenty of attention and care, and make sure they always have food, water, and a clean environment. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands

JR was awesome! My 2 golden retrievers were well taken care of. Updates included lots of pictures and verification of all the important things to make me feel totally at ease while they were in her care. I always knew they got outside exercise, had water, got some extra love and hugs and were fed. I came home to happy pups. Will definitely book JR again.

Elaina is the best! We had her hang out (1 hour check in) with our dogs while we had a day trip, and she was wonderful. Our dogs were very happy and she worked with them on training, so they had great manners when we came home!! We will definitely rebook again and our dogs can't wait to see her again!

Jessica came for a drop-in visit for our dog, Mazzy. She played frisbee with her, let her have a dip in her pool and wiped her down before coming back in the house. It was great knowing that we could count on Jessica to give our dog a break and some attention while we were gone for the day. We will definitely hire her again. Thanks Jessica!

Summer’s care was excellent. Would highly recommend and book again! She did drop in visits with our Labrador twice a day for a week and we could not be happier. Her care was excellent, updates were timely and always had photos as requested. Our home was well taken care of and Emma our dog well fed and happy and healthy when we returned!

Kayla, you have taken such a good care of Kiki ever since we took her home when she was around 8 weeks old. You have shown tremendous amount of patience and kindness when dealing with a such small puppy and a Shiba Inu breed. You have been a very reliable, trustworthy and caring Rover. Now you are moving out of the area, we wish you all the best and would recommend your service without any hesitation. Anyone would be luckily to have you take care of their pets. Thank you and best of luck Kayla! Kiki and all of us will miss you.

Wonderful!!! Miranda spent time with my 2 dogs while I was away on a long day trip to Oregon. My big, friendly dog received more than his fair share of pets, scritches and attention. But to my amazement, Miranda was also able to very quickly win over my shy, skittish dog who is extremely selective!

I reached out to Abby last minute to request two weeks worth of drop in visits for my dogs. She was always fast to respond, great with my dogs, and gave me detailed updates each visit. I am so appreciate of all her help and will definitely be booking with her again in the future. I highly recommend Abby for your pet care needs!

Billie did a fantastic job hanging out with our 15 week old puppy! She made sure she was fed and watered, got a walk in, some play time, and a lot of belly rubs! She sent great photos, which we always enjoy. We will certainly be asking Billie to drop in on our pup again.

Vanessa was a wonderful dog sitter for our beloved pet! We’re so thankful for the care she provided while we were away. Her communication was excellent with detailed notes and quick responses. Plus, we received regular photo updates—each cuter than the last—proving our sweet pup was busy living his best life while we were gone.

David did a great job checking in on our dog while we were away! Prior to our trip he was thorough in ensuring all instructions were clear in addition to a meet and greet. He was very responsive and sent photos for every visit. Our dog was super comfortable with David and we would recommend him to others!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
