About: I'm super passionate about animals and pet care, and I am grateful for every opportunity to hang out with them. I love to spend time getting to know pets, and I am great at adapting to their quirks and needs! As a recent graduate, I'm looking to expand my pet care experience and help people. I'm available all week, and devote most of my time to animals - with my experience including hundreds of hours of pet sitting and dog walking, my role as a wildlife care assistant at PAWS, and experience as a kennel technician at a veterinary clinic! When caring for pets at my house or a client's, I never leave for long periods, and I'm great at staying on top of medication requirements. I am also able to provide pick-up and drop-off services to make things easier for owners.
“Jenica is the best!!! She was so patient with my very anxious and reactive pup, brought her extra treats to win her over, and was so communicative through it all. I already rebooked her and my dog was already calmer on her second visit. So glad I found her!!!”

“Elaina was fantastic with our puppy, Brick. Brick loved her and we felt very comfortable leaving him with her. Elaina took lots of great pictures and was communicative. We will definitely ask her to sit again!”

“Talia took very good care of our new kittens over the weekend. I received several photos during each drop-in visit. The care that Talia took with the narrative for each visit was much appreciated! My husband and I will definitely book with Talia again.”

About: As a lifelong dog enthusiast, I have 10 years of experience pet sitting and dog walking for my community, friends, and family. Simply, dogs bring me joy! I’m currently relocating to the Seattle area for work. My family has yet to arrive, so I have plenty of free time to enjoy walkabouts. With an undeniable connection and strong awareness to animals, my commitment is to ensure they are cared for, loved, and safe during walks and visits.
“I am so happy to have found Arielle via Rover! She is a great communicator, on time, and takes great photos of her time with our little puppy, Chibi. Totally at ease with Arielle in our home or her taking her to her home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to another pet family.”

“Lu was an amazing catsitter. Would recommend her in a heartbeat! She immediately connected with our cat, took excellent care of her, paid close attention to instructions we left, was an excellent communicator. Plus sent us gorgeous photos every day!”

“Kathryn dropped by twice a day for 3 days and took amazing care of our 3 cats. She even got out shyest cat to play! She cleaned after them and followed our instructions. She was very professional and sweet with the kitties”

About: I grew up with dogs in my family, walking other people’s dogs and now have a dog of my own. I love to walk, and I love to play with dogs. I’m very comfortable with walking dogs of all sizes. I’m not intimidated by big dogs (we had a 95 pound BullMastiff). I’m good at building trust with a dog by letting them move at their pace. And I understand some dogs can be anxious or shy. I’ve taken care of my friend’s very anxious chihuahua. I know to make sure he knew I was about to reach him and to make sure I was always calm so he felt safer. I’m also happy to do drop-in for cats. Many of my friends have cats and I love to play with them, and know to be calm and let them come to me. My job schedule varies depending on the week, but I usually work evenings. So even days I work, I can potentially walk or do drop-ins during the day. I don’t care for pet’s in my home. But for client’s homes, I would make sure to leave my shoes by the door before entering the house. I would also make sure to wipe the dog’s paws if necessary before entering the house. I would make sure to check that their waterbowl is full, and anything else the owner asked for. For drop-ins, I like to make sure the dog or cat gets some playtime and pets.
“Michael was most helpful in facilitating my trip abroad over Memorial Day weekend. He was incredibly communicative and a friendly person, too. He dropped in to check on my cats and made sure that the house was well in order for when I returned. Definitely recommend!”

“David was very accommodating to my schedule. My pup definitely looked like he was having fun and will definitely be rebooking him when needed in the future!”

“Addona is amazing, as always. She makes going out a pleasure, we don't have to worry about a thing. She has to medicate both of our boys and she does a great job. Thank you Adonna, we very much appreciate you!”

“Taryn has been a tremendous help for us and our dog, Tyrion. We rescued him at 8 months after he had some pretty rough upbringing before that, leaving him pretty traumatized and very untrustworthy of people. Even now with him at almost 7 years old, you basically need to be around him multiple times over quite a long period of time to even begin to gain his trust. We let Taryn know that this would be a slow process and we would need her to come over and just hang out with us and him a few times before she would be able to watch him without us there. She was very flexible and considerate and after several of these drop-in sessions, the barking began to wane and he went from avoiding her completely to taking pieces of chicken from her hand. We knew we were going to have to rip off the BandAid at some point and when we had to go away for a wedding, Taryn was ready.. and everything went GREAT! She is officially in the Circle of Trust and this brings us so much joy! Thank you thank you thank you!!!”

“Jeanne was amazing with our two cats. She played with them and made sure they had enough food, water & a clean litter box each visit. She also swept their room and left it nice and clean. Our cats loved Jeanne and I would highly recommend her to care for your cats.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Rose taking care of our little old lady cat over the holidays. We had not left her alone for several years, but she seemed instantly at home and snuggly with Rose, who gave her tons of wonderful attention. Communication was excellent and we got lots of great updates and pics. Even though our kitty can be very finicky about taking her daily medication, she seemed to gobble down every single dose while Rose was here - she just responded super well in general to Rose's care. Not just that, but her coat has not been this clean and fluffy in a long time - two brushings a day is going to be a tough act to follow! :) We wholeheartedly recommend Rose and would absolutely love to have her look after our little floof again in the future!”

About: Having owned dogs for years, working at a dog day and boarding facility enhanced my skills. Certified in training and safety, I ensure top-notch care and understanding for every dog. I work full-time at a dog daycare/boarding facility, but I am available after and/or before work and on my days off for drop ins/walks. My schedule typically stays the same, but can sometimes shift. Currently right now I have Wednesday/Thursday off; and work Friday/Saturday 9am-6pm, Sunday/Tuesday 7:30am-4:30pm, and Monday 7:30am-6pm. Safety and trust are paramount in my approach to caring for dogs. With certifications in training and safety, I prioritize creating a secure environment where dogs feel safe and loved.
“Rebecca took wonderful care of Kiwi and despite my pup not being bf willing to go on a leash, Rebecca kept her very entertained with backyard hang time to enjoy the sunshine during drop ins.”

About: Mom at heart here - to humans and fur babies. I offer the kind of love that all living creatures deserve, especially ones that don't communicate with words. Being a mom to a special needs child has given me the patience and Spidey senses to anticipate needs, and pick up on cues from our non-verbal friends. I promise to provide a fun and safe environment for your dog or cat friend - whether that be in my home or any place when in my care. I don't have any pets of my own. But I have big house that I enjoy filling with the sounds and bountiful energy of someone else's lovely pets. I've had cats most of my adult life, and grew up always having a dog. My last dog was an energetic and clumsy Dalmatian named Kramer (yep, like in Seinfeld). He always knew how to make an entrance :) I work full-time from home (M-F). So flexibility is the name of the game. I have online work meetings and calls, here and there. But your pet will have a full view of me when I care for them in my home. My desk is set up in an large, open concept space, with lots of hardwood floors and a cushy couch for them to watch me work. I even keep toys near my desk for that impromptu 'catch' or 'fetch' session. And in between meetings, I will give them play time, potty breaks and walks. My back yard is large, but not fenced. If your dog prefers to run carefree and has difficulty with recall, I promise to keep them on a leash when exploring the surrounding flora and fauna of my yard. For neighborhood walks, we offer lotsa bushes to smell and grass to chew on. And for additional exercise, there are nearby dog parks to make new friends and burn off some energy. I work from home and my schedule is flexible to take breaks from my keyboard for play time, potty breaks and mostly to keep your pup company. While my backyard is not fenced, I maintain my doors locked at all times and will always ensure your dog is on a leash before we leave the house.
About: I'm a long-time dog lover and I understand the need to trust anyone who cares for them. I take caring for someone else's pets seriously. I'm a semi-retired person who would like to help other pet-owners, make a little extra money, be of service and get out of the house. I consider our pets family, and treat them as such. We have two little dogs: a Pomeranian, and a Swedish Vallhund. They are our children in so many ways. They're a part of our lives in so many ways. I understand the need to trust someone to look after them so I take the responsibility seriously whether I'm walking or visiting your pet. They's comfort and safety are my concern.
Lake Forest Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Amie has been our primary cat sitter for about four years, and she is consistently wonderful it’s clear she loves animals, and especially loves cats, which is lovely and very reassuring when we leave on multi-day trips. We have one very high maintenance cat, and one easily pleased cat. And both are happy as clams after Amie’s visits. I really appreciate her updates and care.
Summer’s care was excellent. Would highly recommend and book again! She did drop in visits with our Labrador twice a day for a week and we could not be happier. Her care was excellent, updates were timely and always had photos as requested. Our home was well taken care of and Emma our dog well fed and happy and healthy when we returned!

Elaina was amazing with my cat, Olive, during two weeks of drop-in visits! Olive is very cautious around new people and even hissed a little at first, but Elaina was patient, understanding, and never discouraged. She gave Olive the time she needed, and by the end, Olive had warmed up to her, which is a huge deal. Elaina provided great communication, lots of photos and updates, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat and couldn’t be happier. I’m so glad I found her and would absolutely book with her again!

Stephanie is truly amazing!! She took care of our 5 month old kitty like her own. She even stayed past booking time to ensure he felt cared for. I’m so grateful for Stephanie and she really gave us a peace of mind while we were away. My kitten loves her and I’ll only be reaching out to her to take care of Theo because I don’t think anyone else can top her love and care for my cat!!

Kayla, you have taken such a good care of Kiki ever since we took her home when she was around 8 weeks old. You have shown tremendous amount of patience and kindness when dealing with a such small puppy and a Shiba Inu breed. You have been a very reliable, trustworthy and caring Rover. Now you are moving out of the area, we wish you all the best and would recommend your service without any hesitation. Anyone would be luckily to have you take care of their pets. Thank you and best of luck Kayla! Kiki and all of us will miss you.

Madeline has done drop-in visits with my cat a few times now and she's great! She understands cats and she has taken very good care of my cat while I'm away. She provides clear updates, cute pictures, lots of playtime, and is responsive. My cat and I highly recommend her!
