I'm a 27-year-old graduate student at UW Bothell working toward my Master's in Accounting. I've been around animals my whole life, growing up with both dogs and cats, and I currently have three cats of my own. When I'm not studying, you'll usually find me playing soccer, skiing, or spending time outdoors. I've spent my whole life around both dogs and cats, so I understand that every pet is different. I enjoy getting to know their personalities and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. I know how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets, and I'll treat yours like they're my own. Whether it's keeping up with their routine, making sure they get plenty of attention, or sending updates while you're away, my goal is to help both you and your pet feel comfortable and stress-free.

Safety, trust & environment
Whether I'm in your home or mine, safety and comfort always come first. I follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible — same feeding times, same walk schedule, same little habits — so nothing feels disrupted while you're away. I keep a close eye on their environment and I'm always watching for anything that seems off. Having dogs and cats of my own means I'm used to spotting small changes in behavior early. My goal is always the same: your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like they're one of my own.

Matthew is such a sweet human being! He is so kind and gentle with cats, dogs, and humans alike. My cats are usually skittish around people, but with Matthew they're completely different - they immediately start asking him for pets and try to sit on his lap. Matthew is amazing at connecting with each pet he meets and understanding exactly what they need!

Schedule
As a grad student, my schedule's pretty flexible — a mix of day and night classes means I can usually work around a pet's routine rather than the other way around. That flexibility lets me be consistent with feeding, walks, and check-ins, even if the hours shift day to day. I map out my free windows in advance, so your pet's routine stays steady no matter what my class day looks like.
