About: I have had dog and cat companions since childhood. I have also taken care of friends' and neighbors' pets since high school. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and look forward to meeting your animal companion! I am working remotely as a freelancer, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to meet your dog-walking needs at any time. I would walk your dog around your neighborhood or nearby park, paying attention to their needs, providing them with love and affection, and taking into account your special requests.

“Taryn has been a tremendous help for us and our dog, Tyrion. We rescued him at 8 months after he had some pretty rough upbringing before that, leaving him pretty traumatized and very untrustworthy of people. Even now with him at almost 7 years old, you basically need to be around him multiple times over quite a long period of time to even begin to gain his trust. We let Taryn know that this would be a slow process and we would need her to come over and just hang out with us and him a few times before she would be able to watch him without us there. She was very flexible and considerate and after several of these drop-in sessions, the barking began to wane and he went from avoiding her completely to taking pieces of chicken from her hand. We knew we were going to have to rip off the BandAid at some point and when we had to go away for a wedding, Taryn was ready.. and everything went GREAT! She is officially in the Circle of Trust and this brings us so much joy! Thank you thank you thank you!!!”

About: I have a golden retriever age 4 I take care of in my own home. And I’m a collegiate XC and track runner willing to go the distance with the pets and take care of them the best I can. I am fast no pun intended and reliable and would love to take care of any pet! Also looking for a summer job to pay for college and this is hopefully what I can rely on! I’m looking for summer work to pay for college and I’m a collegiate runner at Western Washington university. My availability is very open and flexible. I just run 80 miles a week and lift currently. And fit enough to walk, run, play, and feed pets. I have a fenced yard and gated off living room to keep away from kitchen and other rooms. And also a little dog crate whenever they get sleepy or need a room to calm down in.

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for a variety of animals, from newborn to seniors. I have experience administering medication both topically and injections. I used to train and show Border Collies, Jack Russels, and Bull Terriers for 6 years. I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement and no-fear training. Currently I work as a trainer and caretaker and a doggy daycare which gives me experience with all breeds and temperaments. I am working full time at the daycare however, I only work the opening shift so I am often done working before 3 pm. I am always available for boarding stays and have open availability on weekend to get your pups outside! I am extremely detail oriented which makes it easier for me to understand care and safety instructions for in home animal care. I also have many years of experience with skittish and shy animals and am able to read their body language to make sure they feel safe and comfortable.

“Rachel was fantastic with all of our kitties! When we arrived home, we could tell that they were loved and cared for very well. Things started off a little bumpy with a miscommunication, but Rachel was fantastic at meeting all of our needs. Would definitely recommend as she was incredible!”

About: I have taken care of animals for most of my life. I have done house sitting and pet sitting for many friends with cats and dogs, and I have frequently helped friends and family with dog walking as well. This includes experience with pets with special medical needs and assisting with reinforcing training techniques during care. I also have experience with rabbits and other small animals. I can provide early morning, lunch time, and afternoon/evening care for pet sitting or dog walking during the week. I also have availability some weekends as well. I can provide in-home drop in care for pets in my clients’ home. I can provide in home care at my house on a case by case basis. I am only able to host small/medium dogs under 50 lbs, and they must be potty trained. I have a small, fully fenced yard and back deck area, which is best suited for smaller dogs.

“Kathy goes above and beyond to make my cat feel loved and cared for during her drop-in visits. I know that when I return from a work trip, my cat won’t be so upset with me because he has a buddy stopping by to see him. I look forward to using Kathy again because she is very thoughtful in her approach.”

I always get daily updates of them cuddling on the couch and spending time outside, and he works remotely so it's nice to know she has company for most of the day. He also lets her live her dreams of being a lap dog even though she's 70 lbs.”

He did a great job and we came home to clean home and happy dog. He FaceTimed and texted if he had any questions. As an added bonus, he had picked up all the dog 💩’s in the yard. We would absolutely trust him with our dog and home again and we can’t say that about many people.”

“Karin has been watching my dogs for years - I cannot recommend her enough! She maintains routines, goes on walks, and will cuddle on the couch at the end of the day. Karin truly cares about your dog, too. And is an excellent communicator. One time I needed her help after my puppy got surgery, and of course his stitches started coming out! Karin called as soon as she noticed and asked for guidance. That's the kind of transparency you want! She also sends regular updates and is somewhat of a photographer herself, so you know they're quality. Don't hesitate booking with Karin!”
