Born an animal lover, I've kept and cared for a variety of animals over the years, including cats, dogs, rodents, fish, reptiles, and birds. After receiving education and working briefly in the field of psychology, I realized that my heart belonged to pets and decided to work professionally with them. I worked in an animal hospital for two years taking care of the kennel occupants and assisting the staff with patients, and then moved to a private pet sitting company for another two years where I did dog walking, drop in visits, and dog boarding in my home. I also learned and utilized positive dog training methods during my time there. I've since taken a break to raise my own babies, and now that they are in school full time I am ready to mingle with my critter compadres once again!
