When I’m not home, my husband usually is, so there’s typically someone around to keep an eye on things and give your pet some company. I can sometimes accommodate short-notice requests, and I live right next to two parks in a safe neighborhood with plenty of places to walk. My home is kept pretty pet-safe — my two cats are professional troublemakers, so they’ve made sure we don’t leave much out that curious pets can get into. It’s just my husband and me at home, so there aren’t lots of unfamiliar people coming and going. We have a fully fenced backyard, and the house is mostly hardwood and tile, so scratches, muddy paws, and normal pet messes aren’t something I stress about.
