About: I have taken care of my own pets (two cats and a dog), as well as those of my friends and neighbors since I was a child. I am experienced with reactive and anxious dogs, and am experienced in administering medication. I can take your dog on long walks (5+ miles) and hikes if that’s their thing. I will always give your pets the same care and affection I give my own! My work schedule is extremely flexible. Most of my work obligations are mid-morning, and the rest of my day/evening is free. I walk several miles per day on my own, and would love to bring your dog along with me. I will show your pet the same love and affection I give to my own pets. Your pet’s wellbeing and happiness are my top priority, and I will adjust my services to fit their individual needs.
“I'm very happy that I found Hailey & Joshua. They took great care of my shy, rescue kitty, making her feel comfortable while I was away on a long vacation. They provided excellent communication every step of the way, exceeding all of my expectations. I would absolutely rebook them again.”

About: I’ve taken care of multiple kinds of dogs and cats for family and friends ever since I was a little kid, and owned both kitties and doggies of different breeds most of my life. I’ve read a few training books for doggies, stayed multiple nights for pet sitting, volunteered at pet shops, worked at pet stores, handled kittens and puppies with care, worked with senior cats and dogs, as well as other barn animals as well! I am currently working a part time job in silverdale, usually around 10-15 hours a week. I always receive my schedule at least a week in advance, so I just need time to plan around that. Otherwise, I’m a fairly open schedule! I have experience with crating dogs and giving them daily medicines if needed, or any unique care. If there is ever at all an emergency situation, I will call you immediately while also taking your dog to the vet.

About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience! I grew up with multiple dogs and have spent years walking and caring for pets, including overnight stays. I’m comfortable with different routines, energy levels, and personalities—and I always make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. Mondays–Wednesdays are my off days and my most flexible time. I work Thursday–Sunday afternoons starting around 2, and my mornings are usually reserved for staying active—walks, workouts, or anything that gets me moving. I don’t have pets currently, but I’ve grown up caring for family and friends’ dogs and I’m comfortable with most breeds, prioritizing calm, safe, attentive care.
“luna is absolutely amazing!! super flexible and accommodating for my sweet baby clementine! she is super communicative and kept me updated when she arrived and met clementine for the first time. i would absolutely book luna again!!! XD”

“Wonderful sitter. She is always on time, very responsive to communication and is great at last minute changes, including adding drop in visits and changes to pet needs. It can be very difficult to find reliable sitters for your pets. And I feel I have finally found one!”

About: I have a flexible schedule that can work around your needs. I have experience with several different dog breeds and have experience with puppies and senior dogs. I have a very flexible schedule and I can shape my schedule around the needs of you and your dog and give them the time and attention they need. I have a fenced in yard where they will be free to roam, along with abundant room inside where they will receive lots of care and attention. Will support crate or free sleepers depending on your preference and the dogs needs.
“I feel confident when I leave for work that my dog Gemma is in great hand with Karen, Karen is a great communicator, and responsive to request to care for you pet. I’m fortunate to have found her on Rover!”

“When a child (dog) care emergency popped up at the last minute, I re-downloaded the Rover app, desperately hoping to find someone willing to do a drop-in visit on such short notice. Solace was the first Rover I saw listed in my area, and she coincidentally also had a ton of five-star reviews. I sent her a message and she responded quickly and was able to schedule two visits per day for two days. We didn't have enough time to squeeze in a meet-and-greet (like I said, short notice), so instead she sent me a thoughtfully laid out questionnaire to make the visit as smooth as possible. She followed our instructions flawlessly and was so good to our dogs, we couldn’t have asked for someone better! She truly is an animal lover! This is my first Rover experience, and she set the bar extremely high, tippy-top if you will. While I don’t wish for another emergency to pop up, I do hope that we get to work with Solace again in the future, she’s truly a hidden gem.”

About: I believe in providing care that makes both you and your dog feel completely at ease. Here is what sets me apart: • Professional Background: One of my first jobs was working in a dog kennel. This gave me hands on experience with dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and energy levels, and taught me the importance of safety and routine. • Lifelong Experience: I have grown up with family pets my entire life. I treat every dog I watch with the same love and attention I give my own family pets. • Adaptable Care: Thanks to my experience, I am confident and comfortable handling all life stages from playing with high energy puppies to providing a quiet, gentle environment for senior dogs. I specialize in midday pet care! I am fortunate to have an extended two hour lunch break most weekdays, which is the perfect window to check on your pets. Since I specialize in midday visits, I come to your home. I follow your rules, ensure leashes are secure, and treat your space with total respect. Every visit ends with fresh water, locked doors, and an update so you can finish your workday stress free.
“Dennis did ann excellent service with my companions, Tigger and Skye – he took perfect care of them! Tigger and Skye were clearly happier and more at ease after Dennis’s visits. His attentive care and general interactions with my furry family made a real difference in their daily routines and well-being. We give 5 stars and a wagging tails – a trusted, reliable caregiver, and I happily recommend Dennis to fellow pet parents seeking top-notch, trustworthy care for their beloved pets.”

“Princess help me out tremendously for my 30 day trip abroad. Did two weekly visits and followed the -admittedly- overly specific instructions required for all of my cats including their food, litter-robot, and more. Made my trip so much less stressful!”

“Cassidy was really good with my two dogs during our one hour drop in. She arrived on time and was very professional and kind. She seems like a very responsible person. This was just a drop in but I would definitely trust her to watch them while I'm out of town. I'm definitely going to have her back for more drop ins!”

About: What kind of construction are dogs best at????........... Roofing!!! ;) Don't worry my jokes are much worse than my skills to care for animals! I have taken care of my Bailey for 9 years into his old age. We love to go on walks in the park, play fetch, and of course treats! I want to care for your pet like they are my very own! I am a trustworthy person that has enough energy to keep up with all size dogs. I am comfortable handling animals of any size from teacup to XL. I will even take care of cats! I absolutely love all animals and the joy they bring to be around! I look forward to meeting you and your furry four legged friend!
“Lindsey was absolutely wonderful with my two cats for the week that I was out of town 💕💯😺 She was very thorough in meeting their care requirements and went well beyond my expectations! Highly professional and caring sitter. She managed our four pets for a week with ease, kept the house very tidy, and exceeded all our expectations. She was diligent with our pets and their well being. She also was great with our kids during our initial meet and greet. We will definitely be booking her again. She is a gem.

Aaron was very good with my dog Axel and helpful with my separation anxiety leading up to my vacation. He was consistent in his drop in visits and gave thorough reports on my dog to help me feel better and keep track of how my dog was fairing while I was away. He is very friendly and knowledgeable about dogs, and will take care of your pet like they are his own. 5 out of 5 stars, would hire again.

Sarah, as always, is amazing. I trust her to care for and love my critters like her own. My geriatric kitty cat hauls her old bones out of her heated cat bed to climb down the stairs and greet Sarah. I've seen her do it, and she doesn't even get herself up to greet ME! She's particular and crotchety as all hell, but she loves Sarah. Honestly, there's no greater evidence that somebody is good people as when an old calico gives her stamp of approval consistently. Neko thinks a visit from Auntie Sarah is the best thing. Only just slightly less so then a Churu, IYKYK!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
