“My dogs were so excited to have Christine drop by for a visit during one of my long work days! I came home and could instantly tell she did a great job entertaining them and making sure they had ample time for potty breaks, following all of my guidelines to a T. She communicated very well and I am so grateful for her care. Looking forward to having her stay with them for an extended trip at the end of summer.”

“Overall excellent service! Elizabeth is punctual, reliable, goes above and beyond with communicating about our pup, and is so kind. Our dog jumps with joy every time he sees her.”
About: I have worked in veterinary medicine for 10 years (6 years with Companion Animal Wellness Center and 2 years with Tender Touch Animal Hospital, and two years with animal emergency and speciality center) and I also worked in animal rescue for two years at Pasado's Safe Haven. I love dogs of all kinds and enjoy learning about what they enjoy and how I can help them live happy and healthy lives! I've helped two clinics implement cat friendly practice standards and have a solid understanding of cat behavior. I am comfortable giving medications and know when medical care is needed. I am also a pet owner myself and understand how important it is that you be able to trust your pet caregiver to treat them like family! I teach special education now and so am pretty busy during the school year. If my 12 year old son can come, he’s great with animals too, and I can be more flexible then. Feel free to ask me if something will work! Over the summer I am very available, only needing to be home for about 4-6 hours a day to take care of my own dog. If your dogs are pet social and you don’t have cats ( too fun to chase!), I can stay all day. During the school year, I am gone from 7am until 5 or 6pm, so realistically can only do weekends or solely overnight care. I know the level of trust it takes to leave your fur children with someone new. I will follow your directions and try to keep things as steady for them as possible. My son and I love animals of all shapes and sizes and we love playing with and spending time with them.
“I’m so thankful to have found such good folks to look in on my little one. David and Lisa were professional, reliable and kept me updated daily with great photos. I highly reccomend them!”

About: I will treat your pups with as much care and respect that I gave to my 3 spoiled dachshunds. They’ve all crossed the rainbow bridge but I still have a lot of love to give. As a full-time pet care provider who has been on Rover for 10+ years and taken care of 80+ cats and dogs, I have experience with all sizes ranging from Teacup Yorkies to Great Danes. My goal is to give you peace of mind during your vacation. I have pet care insurance in case of any emergencies and am quick to respond to any situations that may arise. I understand the higher level of patience and care needed for puppies, seniors, or reactive dogs. For that reason, I only board dogs from the same household to ensure your pet’s safety. I am really looking forward to meeting new clients and your wonderful pets. Pet care is my full time job! I aim to accommodate your pet’s schedule and normal routine as closely as possible. I also offer constant care if your pet cannot be left alone for longer periods of time. I have no pets or children in the home. I have a designated dog couch, ramps for those who need assistance, and gates to separate pets during mealtime or prevent them from going upstairs. While I do not have a fenced yard, I can still take your pets out for multiple short walks or play fetch at a local park.
“She treated my pups like they were her own. She left me detailed messages about how each of the drop in visits went with pictures to go along with it. Made me feel like they were in great hands. Will definitely be using her again!”

“This is our second time using Genesis to check in on our fur baby! She does such a fantastic job, and Zoë absolutely adores her. I love the detailed report cards that she sends with each visit along with the fun pictures! If you are looking for a dog sitter or a dog walker, Genesis is the one, and I highly recommend her!!”

“This was our first time using this service, and we want to sincerely thank Kimberly for taking such great care of our cats. She did an excellent job! Kimberly was great at communicating, and we even had the chance to meet her before the service began, which gave us peace of mind. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with her care and professionalism. Highly recommended!”

“Jasmine was wonderful with my kitties! She sent detailed updates with pictures and videos every day, so I knew they were well taken care of while I was away. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place when I came home too!”

About: I've helped to take care of family pets my whole life. For the past 8 years I've been the sole caretaker of my sweet family dog named Boo. She just passed away at the age of 17. I am very skilled at taking care of elderly dogs needs including keeping close watch of body functions, giving medicine, and use of diapers and clean up for incontinence related issues. I'm a full time remote worker with plenty of free time through the week to check in or sit with your pets as needed. My work schedule is very flexible and I can work with what you require. I am well versed in taking care of pets in others homes. I will keep a watchful eye on them if out in the yard, on a walk, or in the home.
About: I love petting and snuggling with my friends pets. After my beloved cat passed suddenly I have been pet sitting for friends a lot and enjoy walking their dogs and snuggling with their cats and dogs when the go out of town. I may be more of a cat person but I won’t tell your dog :) I am currently working on Bainbridge island and, with no pet of my own, would love the opportunity to stay closer to work and love on your pet. I love walking a lot so dogs that require walks will have a great walking buddy in me. I also love watching movies so cats and dogs will have a great lap in me! Cats and dogs both need play so I will spend time playing with your pet and making sure they feel attended to.
“I am a first time customer. Abby made the experience great. She walked me through the process and made me feel confident about the care she takes with our cat. She was professional, reliable and so kind. I’m looking forward to scheduling Abby for April and July vacations if she’s available.”

“Katherine and her son were wonderful to work with! They took wonderful care of my two dogs and provided regular updates and photos while I was away traveling. I know my dogs appreciated the cuddles and attention they received since they both struggle when their routine is adjusted. Boscoe found a new best friend with Katherine’s son 😊 Katherine also went above and beyond caring for our chickens too! She made sure they were well fed, watered, and that the brooding box was safe as I was concerned with the safety of a heat lamp. Katherine is my first choice in dog sitter for all future travel/dog sitting needs. Thank you!”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and treat every pet as if they were my family. As a dog owner and a person with anxiety, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your fur baby. I’m fully committed to making them feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I’m a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, so patience, attentiveness, and communication are all qualities of mine. I pay close attention to each pet’s unique personality and needs, and I’m more than happy to accommodate medication schedules, special feeding routines, puppy care, and senior pet care. As a military spouse, I 100% understand that plans can change and am very flexible. My goal is to provide dependable care and regular updates with plenty of photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend! I am now home full-time with my son who is a month old. Therefore, I have pretty open availability to provide loving and reliable care for your fur babies. I live in a military community that is dog friendly and I also have a mini labradoodle who can keep your dog company! He absolutely loves new friends!
“Cassie was so sweet and easy to work with. She went above and beyond to love on and play with our kitties and take care of them. She was great at communicating and gave me lots of peace of mind while away.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Bremerton
This is my second booking with Regan. Once for this come over/potty break/hangout; the other for a multi-overnight. My dogs absolutely LOVE when Regan comes over. Charlie loves everyone and likes to talk about it. Lucy is a very reserved but wants to check things out in case she need to hide. When Regan first met them, she came over to get the key. Lucy was like, "hey lady, 'sup?..", took 2 little ear scratches, and walked off (high praise from her). Charlie was like, "HELLO! You smell like friend." Given this response I knew these goobers would be in great hands. After both visits, when we came in, the girls were on the sofa like, "Dang... It's not Regan, just the parents," and promptly returned to sofa-mode. For our overnight, we returned to a nicely tidy house and happy dogs. (Not the case with other sitters.) We are excited to book with Regan again for our next overnight.

Nora was amazing! She took such great care of my pets and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. I really appreciated the updates and photos—it was clear they were comfortable and well cared for. She was reliable, communicative, and just overall easy to work with. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!

Valerie was fantastic! She was willing to meet with me 2 times before I left on my trip to make sure we had everything covered. I have a senior Great Pyrenees who walks with a limp and is on various medication. I was very nervous leaving her. Valerie kept me updated with plenty of pictures and texts which made me feel so happy and less worried while away. She administered Betsy’s medication with ease. She washed out Betsy’s food and water bowls and made sure she had fresh water daily. She encouraged Betsy to go on walks and was very patient with her the entire stay. Valerie also took pictures of my other animals that were there and had no problem sharing the space with my 17 year old stepson when she did her drop in visits. She came 3 times a day and stayed the full time. I also love how she laid on Betsy’s dog bed with her! 10/10 I recommend Valerie and will be using her again!

Thank you Jessica!!!! Our girls were happy, and relaxed when we got home! They were happy to see us and at the same time, relaxed and their usual selves! That’s because of you! Your care with their medications and unique needs, is unparalleled. Thank you for your help with the schedule and your patience when surprises arise. You help troubleshoot and partner with pet pet parents. Highly recommend you!!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Bremerton with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
