About: I love petting and snuggling with my friends pets. After my beloved cat passed suddenly I have been pet sitting for friends a lot and enjoy walking their dogs and snuggling with their cats and dogs when the go out of town. I may be more of a cat person but I won’t tell your dog :) I am currently working on Bainbridge island and, with no pet of my own, would love the opportunity to stay closer to work and love on your pet. I love walking a lot so dogs that require walks will have a great walking buddy in me. I also love watching movies so cats and dogs will have a great lap in me! Cats and dogs both need play so I will spend time playing with your pet and making sure they feel attended to.
About: I have worked in veterinary medicine for 8 years (6 years with Companion Animal Wellness Center and 2 years with Tender Touch Animal Hospital) and I also worked in animal rescue for two years at Pasado's Safe Haven. I love dogs of all kinds and enjoy learning about what they enjoy and how I can help them live happy and healthy lives! Jennifer was a life saver when I needed to make arrangements for my dog with specific medical and social needs. She was very quick to respond to my messages, she took amazing pictures of my pet, and she even volunteered to help with my lizard which I didn't originally mention in the request. I could not have asked for more from a sitter and a pal for my dog while I was away!

Not only is she flexible, she also goes above and beyond! Our trip got pushed and couldn't make it back to get out animals. We reached out and Abby said she'd make an extra trip out to feed and let our animals out. I cannot tell you the relief and love we have for her 💜💜 the best sitter!!!
Valerie was fantastic! She was willing to meet with me 2 times before I left on my trip to make sure we had everything covered. I have a senior Great Pyrenees who walks with a limp and is on various medication. I was very nervous leaving her. Valerie kept me updated with plenty of pictures and texts which made me feel so happy and less worried while away. She administered Betsy’s medication with ease. She washed out Betsy’s food and water bowls and made sure she had fresh water daily. She encouraged Betsy to go on walks and was very patient with her the entire stay. Valerie also took pictures of my other animals that were there and had no problem sharing the space with my 17 year old stepson when she did her drop in visits. She came 3 times a day and stayed the full time. I also love how she laid on Betsy’s dog bed with her! 10/10 I recommend Valerie and will be using her again!
