I’m currently doing petcare (as well as childcare) full time as my school is on summer break (I’m a teacher)! I am available weekdays, overnights, and weekends. About: Hello! I am Anna. I have experience caring for young and elderly dogs from Newfoundland’s, labs, boxers, and border collies, and a few cats here and there. I have worked with dogs (and cats) that are a bit higher maintenance and need more day to day care (medication, special food, etc) as well as pups who are very easy going. While in Iceland I also took care of two arctic foxes at the Arctic Fox Center, with daily feeding and playing in their enclosure. I’d be very excited to meet any dogs or cats who need some care while their parents are out of town, or who just need a walk every so often throughout the week. I am back in the US visiting family right now with a variable schedule as I will occasionally pick up shifts working in marine mammal protection or as an EMT. Looking forward to meeting your best friends! I am back in the US visiting family and I currently have a varied and flexible schedule that I am happy to coordinate with you and your pet on. I have always been taught to leave a place better than I found it, so you can rest assured I will find a way to do that if you ask me to stay in your home. I like to ensure pets feel comfy and cozy in their homes while I’m there or when I pop in for a visit. I like to make sure the pet has everything they need and that all hazards are out of reach. Growing up with a Newfoundland and multiple labs this is something I know all too well.

About: My family has always had dogs and over the last 10+ years I have provided care for them. I have cared for my own pets, as well as many other pets on Rover with various health needs and abilities. This includes older dogs and cats, those with health/medical issues/needs, those who need medication, as well as those with other types of support needs. I genuinely get so much joy from spending time loving on the sweet fur babies of this world and look forward to ensuring that while you are away, your fur babies feel loved and well cared for :) I am generally free Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, but may be able to make other days/times work occasionally! I often work from home Monday & Tuesday so those days can be more flexible depending on the week. I can occasionally do longer term stays (up to a few weeks), as long as there is a good set up for me to work from your home part time, so feel free to reach out about longer stays as well. I am flexible, and I prefer to hear from you about how you would like your fur baby to be cared for. I am happy to do whatever is easiest and most comfortable for you and your pet(s) :) I am very communicative, professional, respectful of your space and thoughtful in my care and won’t be afraid to ask questions and keep you updated on how things are going!

I used to sleep in my family dogs pet pen with her because that’s where my family wanted her to sleep, I couldn’t let her sleep alone. I’m home Monday- Friday and several weekends each month. I also have a separate living room for your cat where it will have the run of the place without other pets. I don’t have children, I have dogs. They sleep in the bedroom and I take them everywhere; camping, roadtrips, and I’ve even taken them abroad with me for vacation!

About: I have been caring for a wide range of pets since I was 10 years old, growing up with dogs, cats, and Guinea pigs. As a kid I would frequently walk neighbors dogs and look after pets when my neighbors were away. My love for animals led me to volunteer at a veterinary hospital when I was 14, which turned into a job at 16. I have 8 years experience working with a local vet and 30 years experience as a pet caretaker and owner. Our family currently has our big boy, Bear. He is a calm and patient 8 year old 150lb silver lab with food allergies and other medical needs, so we have experience in administering oral, topical and injectable medications, as well as dealing with dietary restrictions. We look forward to caring for your dog! We are an active family, so multiple walks a day are standard. I work from home, so we are always around to give your doggo the love and care they deserve. Our home is situated in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end street close by multiple parks. We have a secure, fully fenced 3500 square foot backyard with access into the house through a dog door. Our dog is fed twice a day, but can accommodate any feeding/potty break schedule your dog has.

About: As someone who has had dogs for 20+ years and does not currently have a pet of my own, I see Rover as an opportunity to spend time with animals I love and help give them them all the hang time/attention/pets/scratches/running freely in the sun time they need and deserve! I am extremely responsible, have 5 plus years watching animals in a variety of contexts, from dog sitting at the neighbors to volunteering on a farm tending to sheep's, pigs and cows. I love all animals and would be thrilled to spend time with yours :) I work from home the majority of the week, so I'm present and available throughout most days. I'm typically in office one to two days a week — usually Wednesdays and/or Thursdays — for roughly 8 hours. Outside of those days, I'm home and attentive during business hours and fully available on evenings and weekends. I have a fully fenced yard, a one-story layout with no stairs to navigate — especially important for senior or mobility-limited dogs — and gate separation available so visiting dogs can be in the mix while still having their own space. Crates are available if needed. I keep pet cameras throughout the home so I can monitor remotely on the rare occasion I'm out. All dogs have dedicated feeding stations and I'm happy to accommodate varying meal times and dietary needs. Animal CPR documentation is posted in the home, an emergency vet is less than a mile away, and I have reliable transportation should anything come up.
