Crazy for cats and dogs!
Not only did I have cats and dogs my entire childhood, but as an adult I adopted and raised my own puppy. I have professional petsitting experience (through Sitter City). I stayed overnight on 5 occasions to watch a cat and a 50-lbs dog and took the dog on a 30-min walk in the mornings. The cat had special needs due to a recent surgery so I have no problem following specific instructions regarding medication, etc. I like to walk and I’m happy to take the dogs with me to get exercise. I just love animals and am always trying to hang out with other people’s pets since I’m not allowed to have pets in my apartment!

I can stay in your home with your pet and am also happy to take them out (and they’re welcome in my car). I can take them on walks or to the dog park!

Rachel took the best care of Nellie, my sweet 10 year old Lab, while I was away for a few days! She kept me updated with lots of photos and videos, and Nellie looked like she was having the best time. My dog gets really sad and depressed when she is away from me, but while she was with Rachel, she looked happy and comfortable, which really put me at ease during my trip. I would definitely recommend Rachel to anyone who wants to make sure their fur-babies are well cared for and loved. 5 stars from Nellie and me!
Rachel absolutely adores dogs and is super patient and kind with them. My dog loves when she comes over to babysit because he knows he will get ALL OF THE PLAYTIME!

Schedule
I work during weekdays but am almost always free on weekends to focus on pet sitting. I don’t have kids so I tend to treat pets like the kids I never had!
