About: Hi! My name is Monae, and caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy. I have hands-on experience working with dogs through my volunteer work at the Humane Society and Resilient Sanctuary, where I help with walking dogs, providing enrichment and socialization, cleaning kennels, preparing food and water, and assisting with daily care. I am comfortable around dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. I currently volunteer with the Humane Society and Resilient Hearts Animal Sanctuary, where I work with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments. My goal is to provide a safe, positive, and stress-free experience for every dog in my care. I am also pursuing a degree in psychology and will be starting the Karen Pryor Dog Trainer Foundations course. My long-term goal is to become a service dog trainer, so I'm passionate about continuing to learn and build experience working with dogs.

About: Update: We have adopted 7/7/26 a Shih-tzu 10lb. I raised both a Shih Tzu-Poodle mix and a Tibetan Terrier from puppies into their senior years. They were truly part of our family, and after losing them, I’m not emotionally ready to adopt again. (My daughter got a dog now-7/7/2026) Pet sitting feels like the perfect win-win your pets will be showered with love, attention, and care, while also bringing that special furry companionship back into our home. I’m experienced in daily pet care, including brushing and coat maintenance. Since both of our dogs had coats that matted easily, daily brushing and regular grooming were essential, and I personally maintained and trimmed their coats myself. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’ve pet sat for friends and family during vacations, often caring for their pets for weeks at a time. I also worked as a nanny for several years, where I regularly cared for a German Shepherd who became one of my favorites. We took daily walks to the park, and I helped maintain his coat, especially during shedding season. My love for animals began growing up on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and frequent litters of puppies and kittens. Being able to witness and help care for animals from such a young age gave me a deep appreciation for them and taught me patience, attentiveness, and compassion. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I will always care for them as if they were part of my own family. My schedule is very flexible, I work from home in the evenings, the timing is perfect for winding down, they can relax in my office while I work or in our living room or room. In my home: Safety is my top priority. I have a large, fully fenced backyard, that connect directly to our lower living area allowing for secure and easy access for potty breaks. For variety i can take them around our neighborhood for walks and can utilize a large park at a nearby school for additional play time. Pet not good on walks, NO PROBLEM: Having owned a Tibetan Terrier who was incredibly loving with family and children, but reactive to other dogs on walks I deeply understand that every dog is different. If a pet is anxious or not good on walks, we can stay withing our private back yard. In the clients home: I follow the owners established routines and instructions to keep the pet safe and comfortable in their familiar environment, including tailored neighborhood walks.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 8 years old and have assisted neighbors and relatives with care when they needed help. I’ve worked with all types of personalities and know how to love and treat them while meeting them where they’re at. I currently work evenings 2:30pm-11:30pm Saturday through Tuesday. I’m happy to provide any necessary care before I have to leave for work around 1pm, after work around 12:30am, or on any of the days I’m off! I have a small, fenced back yard for any quick potty trips but am keen on taking many walks. I live in a pet free environment and can ensure the highest quality care with your fur babies!

About: Hi! My name is Emma and I'm probably one of the biggest dog lovers you will ever meet! I started pet/house sitting when I was a teenager and have over 15 years of experience outside of Rover. I have never known life without a dog and I never want to. I've owned many different breeds of dogs throughout the years, varying from Elkhounds to Rat Terriers and Labradors to Corgis, I've handled them all.They have feelings and can get lonely at times, especially when their family is away. That's why I want to be a dog sitter, so your little (or big) one doesn't have to feel so alone. I look forward to hearing from you and your pooch soon! (: During the summer, my work is very flexible and the availability on my calendar means that I am available for the entire day. During the fall/winter I teach three days per week, Tuesday and Thursday in the late afternoon/early evening, and Saturday mornings. On those days I would be out of the house for no more than 3-4 hours. Committing to look after your pets means that I'm committing to fitting into their life and routine as much as possible. If your pet is not very active and just wants to be around me all day and cuddle, I am happy to do that. If your pet is a bit more aloof and isn't super into spending time with humans, I will not force them into hanging out with me. I prioritize your pets comfort and respect their boundaries, and yours. If you pet has a daily schedule or routine, I do everything in my power to stick to it, no matter how "ridiculous" it may seem! No routine or ritual is too complicated or "ridiculous" to me. Pets are members of the family and I treat them with that level of respect. I listen to them and pay attention to what they're trying to communicate. Reading body language and knowing how to respond is important when it comes to building trust and I always adapt to meet them where they're at. I am very attentive and observant, especially with pets I haven't worked with before, and pay attention to their habits and make note of any changes. I understand that some dogs may be anxious with new people and that can result in changes to their potty, eating, and behavioral habits, so I keep an eye on those to make sure they dont get worse. I am also very communicative so if anything concerning pops up, I will make sure to notify you.

About: We are a dog loving family with 2 kids and a 10 year old Husky We can provide lots of love and exercise. We work from home full time so can give lots of walks, potty breaks and attention during the day. We are mostly home during the week and try to do lots of outings on the weekends that will include the dogs. We have a fenced yard and a playful Husky to keep your dog company. Our flexible work schedules allow for walks and potty breaks as needed. We're home all day most weekdays and can give your pup trips to the dog park and multiple weeks a day if needed. We're up for exploring new parks on the weekends. We have a fenced yard and friendly dog to keep your pup playing, and we WFH so we can give lots of love all day.

About: I have watched dogs and walked dogs for family friends since I was about 14-15 and have always taken great care of them, making sure they also get to play with me or interact with me before I leave the home. I do competitive horseback riding and have learned how to treat an animal right and take care of one through this. I have watched my grandma's older dog that needs medication 3-4 times a day and I have made sure she's gotten her meds on time every single time. It's the most important thing to me to make sure the animals are happy and content even when their owners aren't home. I work full time, my schedule is monday-friday 9am-6pm with a hour lunch. I am able to do drop ins or walks mid day on my lunch depending on the distance. Since I have experience with horses and farm dogs I feel that I’m great with control when walking, I also enjoy just hanging out with pets even if it’s while watching a movie

About: My experience mainly consists of taking care of my own dachshund, Hazel! I love spending time playing, walking, and bathing her. I have brief experience caring for friends and families animals. My work experience consists of childcare, which surprisingly can translate a lot to animal care- learning how to problem solve, making a safe environment, and always ensuring basic needs are met. I am studying environmental science at UW, so learning and caring for animals is a passion of mine I’m currently working part time and taking classes! My work schedule is every other week and my classes are online. I have free time to spend doing something I love, but it varies per week. I always approach animals calmly and safe at first, and ensuring we are both comfortable no matter what. When comfortable, I love to have fun and sharing lots of love for each other!
