About: Update: We have adopted 7/7/26 a Shih-tzu 10lb. I raised both a Shih Tzu-Poodle mix and a Tibetan Terrier from puppies into their senior years. They were truly part of our family, and after losing them, I’m not emotionally ready to adopt again. (My daughter got a dog now-7/7/2026) Pet sitting feels like the perfect win-win your pets will be showered with love, attention, and care, while also bringing that special furry companionship back into our home. I’m experienced in daily pet care, including brushing and coat maintenance. Since both of our dogs had coats that matted easily, daily brushing and regular grooming were essential, and I personally maintained and trimmed their coats myself. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’ve pet sat for friends and family during vacations, often caring for their pets for weeks at a time. I also worked as a nanny for several years, where I regularly cared for a German Shepherd who became one of my favorites. We took daily walks to the park, and I helped maintain his coat, especially during shedding season. My love for animals began growing up on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and frequent litters of puppies and kittens. If a pet is anxious or not good on walks, we can stay withing our private back yard. The dogs are welcome to hangout in the house or outside as they prefer. Since I am home full time I can let them out to go potty as frequently as needed. With the rainy season upon us, I make sure to dry the dogs with a clean towel each time they come back inside.

Migi had so much fun at Jesse and Scott’s place. They were able to accommodate a very last minute booking for doggy daycare which was awesome! He came back home extremely tired and exhausted so I know he had a blast bc he’s a very energetic hyper dog usually, and they sent me several updates with pics and videos of him having fun in their big backyard. Will def book again in the future!
