“Kristin was beyond amazing. My hubby & I boarded our pit bull Weatherly for a night with her. Our dog is reactive towards other dogs, and a pit bull, so trying to find someone to watch her that doesn't feel uneasy can be a bit hard. We did a meet & greet, and I instantly knew she was the one to take care of our dog Weatherly. Kristin is very personable, within 5min of talking with her she felt like a long time friend. She has great communication, my hubby & I got picture updates. Her & weatherly hit it off from the beginning, and Kristin was super attentive to Weatherly's needs. “This was my first time using Rover and after reading many sitter profile reviews I decided on Maggie. After our meet and greet I was very pleased. I have a Maltese so I wanted a household that catered to small doggies, had a fenced yard, and wouldn’t be crated. All of my needs were obviously met. I got to witness Maggie in action as she was sitting a couple of adorable dogs during our meet and greet. During a potty break in the fenced back yard my dog Lola followed and immediately pottied just like all her new friends. (That was such a relief to me as she only likes to “go” on her own grass!). Then we talked about sleeping and feeding and I was so happy about Maggie’s attitude. She truly wants your dog to be happy, so she lets you bring whatever you feed them at home (I’m one of those that cooks my own food for my dog!) so I just packed up baggies for each day that she kept in her fridge. I left my dog for 7 days with Maggie. I got pictures and/or videos with a nice message on how she was doing everyday. It was really reassuring to hear from her. When we got back from our trip, she was so excited to see us but was definitely comfortable with Maggie. Lola doesn’t easily warm to new people, but Maggie had definitely won her over. Next time I plan on going out of town I would not hesitate to book with Maggie.”

“I have a diabetic cat who's afraid of everyone and requires insulin injections 2x a day. I have not been able to find anyone willing to take on this challenging situation, until I found Cassie on Rover. I swear she can walk on water and is a cat whisperer. She took the time to come and watch me do a glucose test and insulin injection before the first trip I've been able to take in 7 yrs , knowing she would take good care of Punkin. I was gone for 8 days and she came twice a day and Punkin didn't hide from her like she does with everyone but me. I could not recommend her highly enough and will definitely be planning longer trips, using Cassie without worrying my cat would suffer. About: Alex has a 6 year old Golden Retriever at home which she loves and adores! Alex knows how important it is to provide and receive quality care, Alex will provide care to your dog while paying close attention to detail as needed. Whether it is stopping in to relieve your pet, taking them on a walk, playing with them, or a combination of such, Alex will care for you pet as best as she can- similar to how you would. If you choose to have Alex sit for your pet, they will get plenty of play time with her sweet and playful Golden Retriever named Bodhi. About: We don’t currently have pets of our own, but my experience with animals spans their entire lifetime. I raised both a Shih Tzu-Poodle mix and a Tibetan Terrier from puppies into their senior years. They were truly part of our family, and after losing them, I’m not emotionally ready to adopt again. I’m experienced in daily pet care, including brushing and coat maintenance. Since both of our dogs had coats that matted easily, daily brushing and regular grooming were essential, and I personally maintained and trimmed their coats myself. I also worked as a nanny for several years, where I regularly cared for a German Shepherd who became one of my favorites. We took daily walks to the park, and I helped maintain his coat, especially during shedding season. My love for animals began growing up on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and frequent litters of puppies and kittens. My schedule is very flexible, I work from home in the evenings, the timing is perfect for winding down, they can relax in my office while I work or in our living room or room. In my home: Safety is my top priority. I have a large, fully fenced backyard, that connect directly to our lower living area allowing for secure and easy access for potty breaks. For variety i can take them around our neighborhood for walks and can utilize a large park at a nearby school for additional play time. Pet not good on walks, NO PROBLEM: Having owned a Tibetan Terrier who was incredibly loving with family and children, but reactive to other dogs on walks I deeply understand that every dog is different. If a pet is anxious or not good on walks, we can stay withing our private back yard. In the clients home: I follow the owners established routines and instructions to keep the pet safe and comfortable in their familiar environment, including tailored neighborhood walks.

About: I have watched dogs and walked dogs for family friends since I was about 14-15 and have always taken great care of them, making sure they also get to play with me or interact with me before I leave the home. I do competitive horseback riding and have learned how to treat an animal right and take care of one through this. I have watched my grandma's older dog that needs medication 3-4 times a day and I have made sure she's gotten her meds on time every single time. It's the most important thing to me to make sure the animals are happy and content even when their owners aren't home. I work full time, my schedule is monday-friday 9am-6pm with a hour lunch. I am able to do drop ins or walks mid day on my lunch depending on the distance. Since I have experience with horses and farm dogs I feel that I’m great with control when walking, I also enjoy just hanging out with pets even if it’s while watching a movie

About: Small dogs only (<30 lbs) Adil and I love dogs and consider them part of the family! We are happy to take care of dogs of any age - puppy to adult to elderly animals.
