“Shelli was able to fill my last minute request and I’m so grateful! She’s a great communicator and was patient and engaging with my shy dog. I would book with Shelli again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 8yrs old. Friends, family and neighbors have relied on me to care for their beloved pets. I’ am currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I am available for boarding on weekends after 2pm, and weekdays after 430pm I have a fence yard, crates and gates at home, we can also use your own crates if that works with you. Thank a bunch
“I was anxious to find a dog sitter, and I wanted to make sure I found someone with a decent amount of experience. Sophia was more than happy to do a meet-and-greet with both of my dogs. She met them both where they were at, and they both had a successful first experience getting care from someone other than me or a close friend.”

“We are happy with Kristin's service. It was our 1st time using Rover, so I was a bit nervous, but Kristin came by for a meet and greet before everything was confirmed. We clicked right away and I could tell she was great with animals and had a lot of experience caring for people's pets, as well as her own! During her drop ins, she sent lots of updates and pictures. She was very thorough and remembered everything we had went over. Our 3 fur babies were well taken care of!! We'll definitely use Rover again, and hopefully Kristin is available too, because she has another repeat customer with us! Thank You Kristin!!!”

“Mary was so great with our two labs, one of which is a 3 month old puppy. She is very timely, flexible, and attentive. We are so grateful to have found a reliable sitter and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Monica is by far the BEST & most reliable cat sitter. Our cat is an escape artist & she kept him in our apartment and safe the entire month we were gone. She went above and beyond to send me hundreds of photos and videos while we were gone. Maintained a clean and safe area for the cats and when we came home our house was spotless. I’ve had 3 cat sitters in the past and Monica is by far the golden cat sitter. I’d hire her again in a heart beat & plan on doing so in the near future. I felt so at ease leaving Monica with my two cats!”

“James is a great dog sitter! He always sends many updates with pictures which makes me feel comfortable knowing Jack is in good hands. He follows instructions and he even made sure to dry Jack off after he got wet in the rain! I definitely recommend his services.”

“Willa was super sweet and professional. She checked in on my kitties and sent photos every day. She was always quick to respond and helped me since this was my first time booking with Rover.”

“Josie did a wonderful job taking care of our cats - she was reliable, communicative, and provided great care for our furbabies. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that our pets were in good hands. We will definitely be reaching out to Josie again for our next getaway!”
“Diana took good care of our cats and made sure our diabetic cat took her medicine. She kept us informed of progress and sent pictures. Would definitely hire her again.”

“Lora Renee took great care of our cat! He was diagnosed with Lymphoma 2 months ago and we were hesitant to leave him, but Lora Renee immediately put us at ease. We felt very comfortable having her in our home.”

About: I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, horses, cows, chickens, and ducks from a very young age. For the last 13 years I have worked in the pet food industry developing a knowledge and passion for pet health, behavior and nutrition. My current work schedule is Tues-Sat, I am available for walks, potty breaks and feedings before or after my shifts. Sunday and Monday there is more flexibility in my schedule and I can do mid day drop ins or longer distance runs/walks with higher activity level pets. I would love to meet you and your pet to discuss any special needs or requirements for their care. I have a fenced yard and live in walking distance to a public park and school field that can be used before/after school hours. I prefer to work with your pet in the environment which they are most comfortable, your home. I am open to short stays at my home if that is what is best for your situation.
“Esther did drop in visits in my home while I was on vacation. My dog is comfortable at home so this arrangement worked great for us. Esther came the same time two times per day and sent pictures and updates of the visit including food, water, meds and what they did together during the visit. I was finally able to enjoy my vacation because I knew Cooper was in such good hands. I came back from my trip and my dog was just as happy as when I left. I enjoyed the sign in and out feature of the app as well. I will 100% book with Esther again.”

“Grace is amazing! She’s very kind, honest, hard working, on top of things and very trust worthy! She stayed all day for a few weeks with my girl because we couldn’t leave her alone. So grateful to her help! She’s a great pet sitter and an even greater person! :)”
“This was my first time using Rover and having Ali take care of my cat while I was out of state was great! Ali was communicative and great with my cat! I would highly recommend hiring Ali 💯😊”

Trust! Abbey is everything I wanted to find!! I had some truly horrible experiences before. Now, I have found Abbey and she is kind, understanding, fun, patient, respectful, and follows all rules/requests! 10/10 truly amazing pet sitter unlike most on rover. She truly is what her profile says! She has brought me and my partner peace of mind knowing our baby is safe and enriched with her. Also, she brought in a package that arrived for me without even being asked! Very thoughtful. Thank you Abbey!

Shelby was an excellent pet sitter! She was very communicative throughout the entire time, keeping me updated and giving me peace of mind while I was away. I really appreciated how attentive and reliable she was, and it was clear my pet was well cared for. I would absolutely recommend Shelby to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and thoughtful to look after their pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Auburn with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
