“My cat Charlee was content and happy when I arrived home after a 5 day vacation. Anna's daily visits made all the difference in keeping my cat feeling safe, secure & loved.”

“We have three energetic dogs with conflicting personalities. Our oldest is 9 and very grumpy when we leave which has caused problems with sitters in the past. However, Darrienne was a pro! She handled the situation with such grace and laughter while ensuring our other pups got the attention they needed as well. I could tell upon arriving home that they had been well taken care of and they weren’t even anxious like they typically are when we have been gone. I was highly impressed with her care of our two bully's and our shibu!”
About: I have taken care of and trained dogs since I was a teenager. I have worked with all breeds and temperaments. I have trained pet dogs and working protection dogs. I have also worked in the veterinary field in the emergency department, so I have vast amounts of medical knowledge when it comes to animals. Animals love me as much as I love them. I want them to live a happy and enjoyable life with the ones they love. I actually find adverse weather conditions enjoyable so if a rainy or cold walk isn’t for you, I am your guy. I am currently interested in walking and working with dogs. I have a wide open schedule or whatever someone may need. Open to sitting animals as well on a case by case basis. I can walk your dogs and can watch them in your home. My dog isn’t good with new dogs so unfortunately I can not have outside pets in my home.
“Madison is so kind and affectionate to our animals on many bookings. She is great with giving our kitty his medicine twice a day, plays with our dog, and is very respectful of our home always making sure the front door is locked. We look forward to booking her again!”

“I was anxious to find a dog sitter, and I wanted to make sure I found someone with a decent amount of experience. Sophia was more than happy to do a meet-and-greet with both of my dogs. She met them both where they were at, and they both had a successful first experience getting care from someone other than me or a close friend.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sumner
Keri was wonderful! She was very accommodating and communicative. She really gave us peace of mind leaving our dog under her care while away. She bonded with our dog Archie relatively quick and you could tell she has a way with animals. Would book her again in the future without hesitation. All around great service and experience!

Nicole did a great job helping out with my new puppy Benni. I couldn't leave him in his crate for too long while I was at work. She was able to let him out, played with him in the back yard, and fed him his mid-day meal. Nicole was punctual, and communicated to me when she might arrive a little early/late. Would definitely recommend!

Thank you, Nikki, for taking such great care of Winston and walking him while I was out of town. I really appreciated the updates and knowing he was in good hands. Winston was happy, well cared for, and clearly enjoyed his time with you. Thanks again for your kindness and reliability!

Loved my experience with this capable dog sitter! She spent her own time to come and meet and greet the dogs and make sure she became familiar with their set up and what they needed. She was punctual and gave great feedback about how the visit went. I will absolutely use her again! The dogs really like her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
