About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life and have provided pet sitting for family and friends for many years. Now that our kids are grown and out of the house, I have the time, flexibility, and heart to care for other families’ dogs as if they were my own. We live on Lake Tapps in a home with a fully fenced yard, and I work in the Tech Industry fully remote, which means your dog will have supervision and companionship throughout the day — not long stretches alone. We share our home with our sweet 8-year-old Aussiedoodle, Maverick, who is friendly and well-socialized. I understand that pets are family, and I provide consistent, loving, and attentive care. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, outdoor exploring, or just relaxing inside, I adjust to their personality and comfort level. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind while you’re away. I work fully remote from home, which allows me to provide consistent supervision and attention throughout the day. Your dog will not be left alone for long stretches. I’m available for boarding and daycare on both weekdays and weekends, and I can accommodate most drop-off and pick-up times with advance notice. We live on Lake Tapps in a calm home with a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play. We share our home with our friendly 8-year-old Aussiedoodle, Maverick, who is well-socialized and gentle. Dogs are supervised at all times while outside, and I follow each owner’s feeding schedule, exercise preferences, and house rules closely. I can crate your dog if requested and always prioritize a safe, low-stress environment.

About: My experience as a Guide Dogs for the Blind puppy raiser required me to safely handle dogs while exposing them to a wide variety of situations and environments, all while monitoring body language and behavior, providing consistent positive reinforcement, and building trust through clear communication. Getting the opportunity to help raise the next generation of service dogs gave me a deeper understanding of how to keep dogs safe, engaged, and happy while adapting to each one’s unique personality and drive. I take pride in my ability to notice subtle dog behaviors that indicate such things as stress or discomfort and respond appropriately to ensure a positive experience. I am currently working only part time so I have plenty of time to play with your pups and give them all of my time and energy! I also have reliable car for transportation. I am comfortable and have worked with all breeds and sizes and have had dogs and cats all my life and know what to look out for if something is wrong. I don't have any pets of my own at the moment so no worries if your pet is not good with other animals! I take the safety of the animal in my care very seriously and treat them as if they are my own!
“I have a diabetic cat who's afraid of everyone and requires insulin injections 2x a day. I have not been able to find anyone willing to take on this challenging situation, until I found Cassie on Rover. I swear she can walk on water and is a cat whisperer. She took the time to come and watch me do a glucose test and insulin injection before the first trip I've been able to take in 7 yrs , knowing she would take good care of Punkin. I was gone for 8 days and she came twice a day and Punkin didn't hide from her like she does with everyone but me. I could not recommend her highly enough and will definitely be planning longer trips, using Cassie without worrying my cat would suffer. If you want a sweet, reliable and caring cat sitter, you want Cassie on Rover.”

About: I’ve had the pleasure of working as a dog walker/ at a pet resort for 2 years with great trainers. Now I use those skills to walk, teach pet parents and meet new pups all around WA! I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm pretty flexible and available most days. I provide safe, reliable, and compassionate care by following your pet's routine, using secure leashes, monitoring their comfort, and keeping your home clean and respected.
About: I've trained my Siberian Husky to be a well behaved dog that is good off leash, yields to commands, and is very well behaved unsupervised. Anyone who knows the breed knows this is incredibly hard/rare to do. I've taken care of other breeds including but not limited to Chocolate labs, German retrievers, pitbulls, and chihuahuas. I've also had several cats over my childhood and developed friendships with neighborhood cats. I just like animals. I take care of my dog regularly and have taken care of a large number of other people's animals over the many years of pet care I've provided. I've never had a negative interaction with an animal. The most critical components of care is trust, respect, and love. I build trust with animals based on respect of their boundaries and show them love when they are receptive to it as well as giving space and respecting boundaries when the animal might not be receptive to it.

About: My family has had dogs and cats all my life, so I’ve been hanging with them for a while! When I was growing up, I would take care and watch my family and friends pets and I would love to continue doing that now! I’m currently a WWU student and home for the summer! I can care for pets before and after I work and am very open on most weekends! I am very well experienced with taking care of pets, like on walks, feeding, playing with, etc. I’m very active myself, so long walks/short walks I can do it all!
“Diana took good care of our cats and made sure our diabetic cat took her medicine. She kept us informed of progress and sent pictures. Would definitely hire her again.”

“Minh was absolutely fantastic with our pup! She provided consistent updates, sent great photos, and followed all care instructions to a T. It was such a relief knowing our dog was in such capable and caring hands while we were away. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable, communicative, and genuine dog lover. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care Massie provided for my cat! From the start, she was professional, communicative, and clearly a true animal lover. She sent me daily updates with photos, and I could tell my cat was happy and relaxed. Even my usually shy kitty warmed up to her quickly. It gave me total peace of mind while I was away. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive sitter , I’ll definitely be booking her again!🥰❤️❤️🐈🐈”

“Susan was amazing!! She checked in on our babies while we were on our honeymoon. I recieved pictures everytime she visited. The cats loved her and seemed super happy when we came back home. I would hire her again! 10/10!!”

About: I've never been without pets in my life, big dogs and small, as well as multiple cats. I have a limited experience with guinea pigs and hamsters. I am currently going through Vet Tech school with Pierce college. I also have been volunteering at the Auburn Valley Humane Society and there cat cafe for some time now. With our 3 pups and 2 cats they get quite a bit of play time in our 5 person household. Cats are my responsibility so every day they get their litter boxes cleaned, water and food is full and clean, and that my older cat got his meds. Our dogs get poop cleaned a few times a week and are fed twice a day. It has blended into my day to day life to make sure they are happy and healthy. Watching body language is key, every animal is different on whether they want to be left alone, approached slowly or are happy as can be. The first part of Vet Tech school was body language and how to approach with everyone's safety in mind.
“Jazmyne was fantastic! I booked her to check in on my four cats for a couple days and am happy I did. She was kind, communicative, willing to take on the challenge of feeding my monsters wet food (they are spoiled and will only eat their food if I prepare it a certain way), spent time playing with them, and left my home nice and tidy. Additionally, she was able to make my grumpy Siamese comfortable enough to run on his cat wheel! I will 100% be booking with her from now on.”

“Seadrah has exceeded my expectations of a dogsitter. She is attentive, kind, and nurturing to both my dogs. Seadrah asked great questions before her first visit so she could give my dogs the care they needed. She provides training and lots of play time so that I come home to happy and calm dogs. She maintains excellent communication before, during and after a visit.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Pacific
1 week in to our drop-in service. Our dogs are not well socialized as we rarely have people over but due to a schedule change, we desperately needed somebody to drop in on the dogs and let them roam the yard mid-day. Sophia has been amazing. Patient to a fault, willing to let the dogs move at their own pace to build the relationship and has kept us updated each day on any progress. She is amazing and we could not be happier.

We could not have asked for a better sitter! From the very first meet-and-greet, it was clear our dogs felt completely at ease — and that comfort only grew. We came home to dogs that were relaxed which as a dog parent means everything to me. The photo updates showed the pups who were genuinely enjoying themselves, not just being "watched." It's obvious that Diana has a real gift for making dogs feel safe and loved. We'll absolutely be booking again and recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a sitter who treats your dog like family.

Keri was wonderful! She was very accommodating and communicative. She really gave us peace of mind leaving our dog under her care while away. She bonded with our dog Archie relatively quick and you could tell she has a way with animals. Would book her again in the future without hesitation. All around great service and experience!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
