I have not been able to find anyone willing to take on this challenging situation, until I found Cassie on Rover. I swear she can walk on water and is a cat whisperer. She took the time to come and watch me do a glucose test and insulin injection before the first trip I've been able to take in 7 yrs , knowing she would take good care of Punkin. I was gone for 8 days and she came twice a day and Punkin didn't hide from her like she does with everyone but me. I could not recommend her highly enough and will definitely be planning longer trips, using Cassie without worrying my cat would suffer. It started when I was young, helping family and friends with their pets, and naturally grew into fostering both puppies and adult dogs. About: Update: We have adopted 7/7/26 a Shih-tzu 10lb. I raised both a Shih Tzu-Poodle mix and a Tibetan Terrier from puppies into their senior years. They were truly part of our family, and after losing them, I’m not emotionally ready to adopt again. (My daughter got a dog now-7/7/2026) Pet sitting feels like the perfect win-win your pets will be showered with love, attention, and care, while also bringing that special furry companionship back into our home. I’m experienced in daily pet care, including brushing and coat maintenance. Since both of our dogs had coats that matted easily, daily brushing and regular grooming were essential, and I personally maintained and trimmed their coats myself. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’ve pet sat for friends and family during vacations, often caring for their pets for weeks at a time. I also worked as a nanny for several years, where I regularly cared for a German Shepherd who became one of my favorites. We took daily walks to the park, and I helped maintain his coat, especially during shedding season. My love for animals began growing up on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and frequent litters of puppies and kittens. Being able to witness and help care for animals from such a young age gave me a deep appreciation for them and taught me patience, attentiveness, and compassion. My schedule is very flexible, I work from home in the evenings, the timing is perfect for winding down, they can relax in my office while I work or in our living room or room. In my home: Safety is my top priority. I have a large, fully fenced backyard, that connect directly to our lower living area allowing for secure and easy access for potty breaks. For variety i can take them around our neighborhood for walks and can utilize a large park at a nearby school for additional play time. Pet not good on walks, NO PROBLEM: Having owned a Tibetan Terrier who was incredibly loving with family and children, but reactive to other dogs on walks I deeply understand that every dog is different. If a pet is anxious or not good on walks, we can stay withing our private back yard. In the clients home: I follow the owners established routines and instructions to keep the pet safe and comfortable in their familiar environment, including tailored neighborhood walks.

I've spent my whole life around large dogs, I've gained experience with feeding, walking, and playing with dogs of different sizes and personalities. I have two dogs of my own at home and cannot offer boarding, but within the dates listed above I would be happy to stay with your dog in your home! When caring for dogs in their own home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel secure. I'll provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, water, necessary meals, and updates (pictures!) so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
About: My family has had dogs and cats all my life, so I’ve been hanging with them for a while! When I was growing up, I would take care and watch my family and friends pets and I would love to continue doing that now! I’m currently a WWU student and home for the summer! I can care for pets before and after I work and am very open on most weekends! I am very well experienced with taking care of pets, like on walks, feeding, playing with, etc. I’m very active myself, so long walks/short walks I can do it all!

About: I've never been without pets in my life, big dogs and small, as well as multiple cats. I have a limited experience with guinea pigs and hamsters. I am currently going through Vet Tech school with Pierce college. I also have been volunteering at the Auburn Valley Humane Society and there cat cafe for some time now. With our 3 pups and 2 cats they get quite a bit of play time in our 5 person household. Cats are my responsibility so every day they get their litter boxes cleaned, water and food is full and clean, and that my older cat got his meds. Our dogs get poop cleaned a few times a week and are fed twice a day. It has blended into my day to day life to make sure they are happy and healthy. Watching body language is key, every animal is different on whether they want to be left alone, approached slowly or are happy as can be. The first part of Vet Tech school was body language and how to approach with everyone's safety in mind.

About: Hello, I provide flexible and reliable care for your fur baby! I have 2 very amazing kids ages 17 and 12. I was employed at Doozy Dog Club taking care of multiple (sometimes over 60) dogs at night by myself!!!) I am very detail oriented as I know every fur baby has a different schedule a different diet and some even need medication/vitamins with their meals. I love trying to teach dogs new tricks and work on their behavior. I will always provide a detailed summary of each day with pictures!!! Being as though I am a mother I do work from home during the week but I am able to take breaks and tend to your little one.
