“it's a lovely family to leave my dog with. Cookie was well taken care of and had fun, also getting along with the cats well, extra credit to their son Brandon! highly recommended!”

“Dennis and Lynn were so amazing taking care of my cat! They were such kind humans and I was so comfortable and confident leaving my cat and was so glad to see how happy she was in their care. 11/10, would 100% be a return customer in the future.”

“this was our first time using rover and we are very happy with the service! mimi is usually very anxious and timid around other dogs but in their care she had the best time! she looks happy and playful in all of the pictures we were sent while we were out of state for the week, and responses were always very fast :) thank you again for everything, 10/10 experience”

“Lani and her family are so very kind and accommodating. We are so pleased to have them as our dogs sitters. We never have to worry about our fur babies when she is caring for them. She gives them so much attention and affection. Our dogs are happy to stay with her and not stressed at all when we pick them up. We are so lucky to have found Lani.”

“Sara was so awesome! I loved all of the pictures she sent as well as the daily updates. She was very friendly and flexible as well. I think Billie had a great time, I would definitely recommend Sara to anyone looking for a dog sitter!”

About: Hey! I'm Tony! We're 2 minutes off Highway 18 and 167, right next to downtown Auburn, so drop-off and pickup are quick whether you're commuting, running errands, or catching a flight. I've loved dogs since before I could walk, and these days I get to spend all day with them. Being home full time means your pup has company from the moment you drop off to the moment you're back. And since I only ever host two guest dogs at a time, there's plenty of one-on-one attention, a big fenced yard to romp in, and a calm house where everybody actually gets to relax. Your dog will be joining my crew. Ozzie is my 12-year-old Catahoula Cur and the chillest dude in the house. He's spent his whole life around dogs of every size and personality, and he's great at showing shy or nervous dogs that everything's okay here. Cleo is my German Shepherd/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix, a year and a half old, and she's all play. Calm mentor, fun playmate. Whatever energy your dog brings, we've got a match for it. Good manners are part of daily life here. We'll keep up whatever your dog already knows, practicing things like Sit, Down, Stay, Place, and coming when called, woven naturally into walks, meals, and play. At pickup I'm happy to share what we worked on together so the good habits follow your dog home. Our days are pretty simple, and dogs love it! Breakfast, then a nice 1-2 mile walk with plenty of sniff time. Play in the yard, then the big midday nap. Afternoon feeding at 3, a little more practice, more play, and a mellow evening. Special diet, strict schedule, daily meds? No problem at all. Both of my own dogs have been special needs, so careful routines are just how we live here. Fun fact: before this I spent ten years as a software engineer at Amazon, so I'm a little obsessive about schedules and details. Your dog benefits. You'll also get plenty of photos during the stay. One family liked theirs so much they framed them. Our girl Olive, the brown Catahoula in our photos, is the reason I do this. She taught us what great dog care looks like, and every dog who stays with us gets the Olive treatment. Anxious, reactive, quirky, particular? Tell me all about them. I'd love to meet your dog! Dog care is my full-time focus, so my schedule is built around the dogs. I'm home all day, every day, and up early, so breakfast is always on time and potty breaks happen frequently. The house is available for boarding and daycare nearly year-round, with the rare exception of a family vacation, and my calendar always reflects that. Whether you need a few hours or a few weeks, your dog gets my full attention the whole time. Early drop-off or late pickup? Just ask, we'll make it work. Our yard is fully fenced with plenty of room to run, and introductions to my two dogs are always slow and supervised. Ozzie is a calm, social senior who's great at helping shy or nervous dogs settle in, and Cleo is a friendly playmate for pups who want action. Your dog is treated as a member of the household for their entire stay, and the only unsupervised time is overnight while everybody's asleep. For sleeping, I have crates in a range of sizes and dog beds everywhere, and you're welcome to send your dog's own crate or bed if that's their comfort zone. If your dog needs a break from the pack, they can have their own room with individual attention and potty breaks. Questions or special requirements? Just reach out, I'm happy to accommodate.
“Maggie was an excellent sitter for my pup and kept me informed and sent lots of photos. My dog seemed to have a great time with her and the other dogs in her care! I look forward to having Maggie care for my dogs in the future.”

“Shay is awesome! This is the first time I’ve used a dog boarding/ sitting service and was nervous to leave my 15 old lab while I went on vacation. That being said, Shay put me at ease and took great care of my senior pup. She sent pictures and videos and was very patient with him having accidents. Thanks Shay!”

“Molly and her husband took such sweet care of our pup. They were so relaxed and we felt like they would love piper like their own! We got lots of picture updates and we were able to meet their pups before we left ours with them for a night. Our dog came back calm ready for a nap after having lots of play time with her new friends. We are so excited to be able to leave piper with them again and we are so glad that we found a safe place for our dog to go to when we go out of town! 100% would suggest Molly and her family to others!”

“Matthew took care of my dogs well and gave them lots of love! They’re a pit mix and a pug and They've definitely got little attitudes sometimes and can be a little particular lol. Mathew made sure they got everything they needed and checked in everyday.”

“The BEST. We had our regular sitter cancel last Minute due to a family emergency which is understandable and we thought we wouldn’t be able to find a sitter last minute nonetheless a holiday weekend and Caitlyn and Andrew came through in the last hr to save our family trip. They provided multiple pictures and videos every couple hrs, updates a couple times a day , we felt very comfortable and relieved that we left our Luka with them . I will be using them again and I recommend to anyone.”

“Josh & Melanie were awesome with our pups!! We did a meet & greet first, and they were so nice! They sent us pictures our dogs while we were gone, and I knew they were being well taken care of☺️”

“From the moment we booked with Noelle we felt confident that our boy would be in very good care. Noelle exceeded all our expections, she is beyond amazing!!! We would get daily updates and photos. Jack got daily walks and play time with her sweet dogs. We will definitely be using Noelle's services in the future!”

““I recently used Katie with Rover.com for my Saint Bernard, Augie and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the start, Katie was professional, caring, and clearly experienced with dogs. They provided regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My dog was well-exercised, happy, and even seemed to have made a new friends. I highly recommend their service to anyone needing reliable and loving care for their pets!"”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pacific
She was absolutely wonderful with our little picky boy! 🐶❤️ She made him feel comfortable, safe, and turned the whole experience into so much fun—especially getting to play with her dogs. She even took him out for a walk, which I wasn’t expecting but genuinely appreciated. Seeing his little tail wagging as he happily went to her was the best reassurance that he felt comfortable and loved. 🥹 She kept us updated throughout the day with lots of pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. We’re so grateful for how caring and attentive she was with him. We would absolutely trust her with our little guy again!
Our girls had a great time playing ball, sunbathing, walking and relaxing! 10/10 experience for them, they came home happy and tired so I know they had a great time! Jeanie showed so much care for them, and was super communicative when our Peach wasn’t feeling well. Highly recommend for any pet sitting needs!

We've used Gretchen several times now, and she has been wonderful every single time. She takes such great care of our pup, and it's obvious she truly loves animals. Our dog is always happy and well cared for, which gives us so much peace of mind when we're away. Gretchen is reliable and communicates well. We never have to worry because we know our pup is in great hands. It's hard to find someone you trust with your pet, and we're so grateful we found her. We highly recommend Gretchen and will absolutely continue booking with her in the future!

Shay took such good care of the pups! Hubert actually came home tired so I think he finally got enough stimulation! She also provided lots of pictures and feedback on how they were doing for the whole stay, and gave my older girl the extra support when needed! Thank you so much again!

Zach took amazing care of my pup! He was great at sending updates so I never had to worry about how my dog was doing. There was great communication in scheduling pickup and dropoff, and he was flexible. His two dogs seemed very welcoming to other dogs as well. I will definitely have my dog stay with Zach again!

Jazzee is a wonderful dog sitter and a very friendly person. Great communications throughout our dogs stay. Extremely happy dog on pickup. I know he enjoyed his stay. If you need a reliable, professional dog sitter, Jazzee fits this need. You can trust her with your pets and her professionalism in caring for your animals. We will definitely be using her again.

..Sydney exceeded expectations with first time booking. I requested her walk and play with dogg in the morning and evening over the course of 3 days. She sent pictures of dogg living her best life. And tracks of mileage she walked about at both the lake park and the bike path. Also had to leave home unsecured for her access. Place was just as I left it with heat and lights on and music playing for dog as I asked. Dog is relaxed and seems like she had a little weekend of adventures with Sydney. We look forward to booking with Sydney again.

We are so grateful for Thao and her husband for taking such good care of our dog! She sent frequent updates and was very quick to respond! I can tell my dog felt right at home and was taken care of well. I would recommend Thao to anyone and will absolutely hire her again to take care of my baby!

Yeonjoo and Brandon took such good care of our pup! It was our first time boarding our dog, so as pet parents we were a bit nervous. But Yeonjoo and Brandon did so good with updating us daily with several pictures and videos. Our pup definitely enjoyed her stay! We will certainly be rebooking with Yeonjoo and Brandon for our future travels :))

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
