“Val took a good care of Bobo and he looked like he had a lot of fun! Thanks! I also found out from Val that Bobo got along with the kitten that is staying with her. Because otherwise I would never know how he is with kittens. That is very good to hear.”

About: Hi! I am a dog parent to a sweet Pembroke Welsh corgi and I know how important it is to find someone who truly gets your dogs need from daily routine routines to emotional comfort. I value enrichment just as much as exercise from sniff walks and food puzzles to games and new experiences. I make sure dogs get the mental stimulation they need to feel satisfied and balanced. Whether your dog is high energy or prefers a slower pace I’ll taylor their day to the unique needs. I am attentive and committed to treating your pup like one of my own with lots of love gentle structure and constant updates to keep you in the loop. I am available everyday, from 6am to 5pm (sometimes even until 8pm). My Corgi is friendly and is also ready to play (if your dog wishes to). I follow what you indicate and do what’s best for your Pup. I knos how to read dog’s body language and is ready to make them feel loved. I am attentive of what your Pup puts in their mouth, the environment they are walking around, the noises… anything that might cause trouble.
“Roger and his family are great pet sitters. They live in a nice quiet community with plenty of sidewalks and areas to walk plus they have a large fenced backyard which is a perfect setting for larger dogs. I felt like they really have a love of animals and care a great deal about the hospitality of your pet. I was given multiple updates everyday including pictures and videos of my dog eating, playing, jumping, and running. They have a dog named Jack which was great for my 2 year old golden to play with and learn to be more social around other dogs. Roger took care of our dog for a total of 10 days which was a long time, but after pickup I knew my furry friend was well taken care of. Don’t hesitate to contact Roger as I would highly recommend him and his family as a pet sitters.”

“Jordan was fantastic. My boy loved her. She was easy to communicate with. He’s not an easy dog and she was patient and loving with him. Highly recommend.”

“Heather and Brandon were amazing dog sitters! Our two pups had a wonderful time and they were so accommodating to our older dog who has some health issues. I was super impressed and hope they will be able to watch our boys again! Thank you!”

“Anastasiia took very good care of my fur baby. For me my dog is my baby and I wanted a safe environment for her. Ahe and her husband are so nice. Their dogs Pickle and Potato are so cute! Gracie played with Pickles! Gracie eats home made food so I packed 10 days worth of rice and chicken for her. Anastasiia heated the food and fed Gracie. I am very happy with her. She has a big backyard where dogs can burn energy. I will definitely go back to her. Thank you so much! And, she was very much in touch- shared pics and videos and it made me so happy when I was away!”

“Cindy did a fantastic job watching Cassie! She was attentive, thoughtful, and listened to all of the details we shared about Cassie’s routine and personality. It was clear that Cassie was well cared for and comfortable while we were away. Cindy was also highly communicative, providing regular updates and sending photos, which gave us great peace of mind. We really appreciated the care and attention she gave, and we wouldn’t hesitate to have her watch Cassie again. Highly recommend!”

“Elizabeth was wonderful watching my dog Olive for the weekend. Olive came home tired and super happy, which is always the best sign she had a great time. Communication was easy and Elizabeth was very kind and reliable. It’s always so nice having someone like her watch Olive!”

“I cannot express the amount of detail and love that he puts into caring for our dogs. We've done everything you can imagine: dog boarding, PetSmart, friends and family but we've never had such an amazing experience with George and his lovely family. Our dogs were welcomed with such open arms while checking in with us to see how they are doing. The care they received was above and beyond and I couldn't be happier to make him out exclusive dog sitter :)”

“Audra was very accommodating and so sweet with our senior dog, Emily. She has two very friendly dogs that Emily got to spend time with. After a family emergency we weren’t sure how long we needed dog sitting and Audra was so kind and flexible with us.”
“Great boarding experience with Molly. She was friendly, responsive, and flexible. She took amazing care of Rusty and kept me smiling with updates and pictures. I will definitely be using her for future boarding!”

“Anna and her family took absolutely amazing care of Zeus, our English Bulldog, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we dropped him off, we felt completely at ease knowing he was in a loving, safe, and attentive home environment. Anna kept us updated and treated Zeus like part of her own family, making sure he was comfortable, well cared for, and happy while we were away. When we picked him up, he was relaxed and clearly enjoyed his stay, which says everything about the care he received. We truly appreciate the kindness, professionalism, and genuine love Anna and her family show toward the pets they watch. We will always use Anna in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy to care for their pets.”

“Kayle was great with my dog Rocky! She sent photos every day and I could tell he was having a good time. 10/10 would recommend her as a sitter. I will be asking her to petsit for me in the future!”

“We felt so comfortable leaving our dog with Charlotte. She was very easy to communicate with and sent us photos/videos while we were away. I could tell from the videos that Gus was having a great time during his stay. He looked happy and comfortable in her home. We will definitely be using Charlotte again!”

“Michelle and Samuel are the absolute best! My dog pit mix, Lazarus had the best time with their personal dog, which are BFF now! They send multiple pictures and videos all through out the day as they would include Laz in the daily walks, hikes, and fetch time, so I always know what he is up to (Helped Moms separation). Absolutely going to recommend Michelle and Samuel to friends and family, if they need a dog sitter. Don’t Think It Gets Better!! ??”

“it's a lovely family to leave my dog with. Cookie was well taken care of and had fun, also getting along with the cats well, extra credit to their son Brandon! highly recommended!”

“Carmen was absolutely awesome with our pup! She sent wonderful updates with detailed info and pictures/videos and did an especially good job enforcing good potty habits and new commands for our puppy who’s still learning. I’d highly recommend her for any sitting needs, she’s got a repeat customer in us for sure!”

“Priscilla was amazing! Max had a great time with her and Millie. He gets so excited for play dates and to visit when hearing their names. Priscilla was communicative before and during our weekend stay which was great. She was also so supportive of all my questions and preferences to make sure me and Max were comfortable. We're looking forward to future overnights and daycare days!”

“She's always going above and beyond. For instance, we forgot some of his things so she packed it up and had it ready for us to retrieve while she was away. Understand, the stay was over, but, still, she navigated the small issue without fail to come up with a solve that made it work for us. It's for these extraneous reasons that won't be visible on a user profile that we'll continue to use her services.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Puyallup
Leo was back at his home away from home! He treats Noelle’s as his vacation home and is always back to come back home. Noelle spoils him rotten, takes him on long walks and packs special treats for him. We are so lucky to have Noelle board Leo. Another 100⭐️ stay! Thanks Noelle! Leo will be backs soon 💙

Robert did a wonderful job boarding my two kittens, Ember and Smores. He treated them like they were members of his own family the week he watched them. He provided me daily updates and photos of both of my fur babies while I was gone. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely book him again!

Angela took excellent care of all four my four dogs during challenging times. Great communication with photos of the pups. Quick to respond. Angela genuinely cares, which is evident in her level of care. Unfortunately all four my dogs had various health challenges during their stay, which in spite of high demands, Angela handled professionally and promptly. One of my pups is diabetic and unfortunately had a pancreatic flare up, which is life threatening if not treated promptly. Angela took him to the emergency room and thanks to that, he recovered in no time. Angela is responsible.Highly recommended for all your dogs needs.Angela shone in the most challenging of circumstances! Look no further.

Hanna and family were great with my 2 dogs. She sent an update with pictures every day of them having fun and being loved on. Dixie loved all the toys they had and Ty loved all the attention. Her dog Milo became an instant friend. Everything was great. The only negative feedback I have was picking up the dogs was a challenge. No one answered the door or phone at our scheduled pick up time and I had to wait about 10 min but Hanna apologized and had the dogs ready to go.

We had a wonderful experience with Ms. Monique our dog, Niko, while we were on vacation. She is incredibly sweet and treated Niko like he was her own. Her home is spacious, clean, and has a great backyard for dogs to enjoy. She kept us updated every day with photos and messages, which really helped put our minds at ease while we were away. It was clear that Niko was well cared for, happy, and getting lots of attention and love. We felt completely comfortable trusting her with Niko and are so grateful for the excellent care she provided. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter!

Nancy was absolutely amazing with my dog Bella, who has anxiety. From the moment I dropped her off, Nancy was patient, gentle, and incredibly understanding of Bella’s needs. She treated Bella like her own and made her feel safe and comfortable. Nancy kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. Bella came home happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. I couldn’t have asked for a better boarding experience and highly recommend Nancy to anyone—especially if you have a dog with anxiety.

We had an amazing experience with our cat sitter! From the moment we dropped off our cat, she was friendly, kind, and made us feel completely at ease. She kept us updated throughout our vacation, letting us know how our cat was doing and sending reassuring messages. What impressed us the most was how quickly our cat opened up to her—something that rarely happens with strangers. It was clear she genuinely cared, and our cat felt safe and comfortable with her right away. We’re so grateful for her care and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate cat sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
