Maple Valley LARGE Yard, Home FTMaple Valley, Kent, WA

Hi there! I'm Jean and you can bring your dog to my house for individualized care. I have a beautiful fenced-in grass yard on a 1/3 of an acre in a quiet neighborhood just outside the Maple Valley area. There are lots of shady and sunny spots to roam around in and discover.

I'm originally from Montana, but have lived in Washington since 1996--first on Alki Beach and now in the delightfully wooded Maple Valley area. I've received two high tech degrees in Washington state since arriving and have worked in the high tech industry throughout my career. I'm semi-retired and stay at home full time, so I have a lot of time--and love-- to give to your beloved pets. The dogs and I enjoy relaxing on my large deck or playing fetch on the expansive grassy lawn. During cold and rainy days, we stay inside and play and relax.

Each dog is unique and I will treat your dog like the individual they are. If your dog is larger than average, no problem! I have experience with large breeds such as Dobermans, Danes, and Great Pyrenees. We have a HUGE heart for tiny dogs and seniors as well. Our Zoey was 17 years old Springer Spaniel when she passed away in May 2018. She was good-natured and didn’t mind having other furry friends around, even though she barked a little at the new dogs. She was 107 in human years, so she's just letting the new dogs know she's fragile.

If you have puppies, that's GREAT, our Lulu is a labradoodle puppy and LOVES to play with dogs of any age and size! I'd love to help maintain your puppy training when you're away. However, I don’t take puppies that are yet too young to be vaccinated. This is for the protection of your puppy, as well as the dogs that stay here.

I'd love to set up a meet and greet with you to learn more about your special pup. Please let me know if you have any questions!

***Please note, my Boarding rate charges are by the Calendar Day. We will discuss drop off and pick up times and the nominal additional charge. ***

***I have a Big heart for senior dogs--my 17 year old Zoey was very dear to me. If your senior has severe issues with bowel or incontinence, I respectfully ask that we defer to puppy care rates because of the amount of time that will be dedicated to caring for, cleaning up after, and making your senior dog comfortable during their stay with me.****

*** Furbo Dog Camera **** Rover has rewarded me with a Furbo Dog Cam. I am one of only 100 sitters nationwide to be selected. "We want to thank you for being an amazing Rover sitter by sending you a free treat tossing Furbo dog camera." You, as pet owners, can see and talk to your dogs—and even toss them a treat or two—all with the easy-to-use Furbo app. It’s an awesome way to stay connected to your dog while you are away.

Dog Haven of Des MoinesDes Moines, WA

Covid-19 notice: We are currently taking several measures to keep all of us and you safe during drop off & pick up of your pets. We will share the details before your drop off dates. Thank you for staying safe.

Dog Haven is located just 10 minutes from SeaTac Airport. WE SPECIALIZE IN 5 LB TO 25 LB DOGS). Dogs must be at least 2 years old.

We send photo updates all during our guests stay, as often as you would like to see them. We are devoted to providing a healthy and happy home for our own pets, but limit our ownership to three dogs. Our passion for happy dogs goes way beyond just three ... we provide that "home away from home" confidence that a dog owner needs. We strive to provide our clients with a worry free separation from their 4-legged family member. Basic "positive" dog training helps to make for a happy dog.

60 years of dog ownership! My first dog came when I was 5 years old. My father was a black Labrador bird dog breeder. That was the start of a life-time love of dogs. The sad part of getting a little older is that you out-live them. Buster, my Labrador until I was 18; Joey, a cocker spaniel until old age; 3 rescued German Shepherds during my 20's. until we found great forever homes for them. That was the start of our rescue history. 2 Yorkshire Terriers until old age - the oldest was Gonzo that lived past 15 years; Moki, a black Cocker Spaniel that was the love of our son's life until old age. Then a steady stream of rescues that we nursed through illnesses until healthy or until they passed. A Great Dane named "Dane" had a short life of 11 years.. which broke our hearts so we went back to caring for rescues. Last but not least our sweet Jackson - our Miniature Schnauzer for 13 years - passed recently from cancer and my darling Merlin - golden Shih Tzu - almost 15 years old - passed recently of old age. Every dog deserves kindness and a loving home. Our family always knows that their pets have a "home away from home" when they leave for vacations.

We do not have any pets other than our 3 dogs.

We have a large completely fenced back yard, large cement patio area for running, and a large flat lawn for play. an abundance of washable & durable dog toys.

We are experienced with administering medication. We have nursed several rescues with illnesses. We are comfortable with cooking their food if necessary as well.

We offer pickup & drop off services to local senior residents of Des Moines, Normandy Park/Kent for seniors that o longer drive.

Stay up to date on all the fun!!

Visit my Facebook business page. Just search "Emily's Woof Pack" where I post daily pictures and videos of the crew! Don't forget to like and follow us while your there!

Hey guys, my name is Emily and my passion is animals, more specifically your babies!

I am an experienced, licensed and insured pet care provider that would love to care for your furbabies! I love animals of all shapes, sizes, kinds, and breeds. Animals have always been a big part of my life and I couldn’t imagine a house without a 4 legged family member running around. I have been pet sitting for about 10 years now (full time for almost 3 years). I dedicate my heart to your sweet babies and love to build bonds with the pups that I watch. I honestly fall in love with them and really enjoy what I do with my whole heart. I give lot of snuggles and way too many treats!

I understand that while you’re away, pets just aren't themselves. Being without their family can be very stressful. I dedicate my time to them to make sure they are as comfortable and happy as possible. I do that by following their normal routine and by giving them as much attention and exercise as they need. I am very patient and understanding with pups when it comes to their temperaments, potty training, medical needs, anxiety, leash skills, ect. I have also cared for dogs with all kinds of special needs including elderly, epileptic, diabetic, food aggressive, and of course overly energetic.

My fiance Brandon and I have been together for 5 years and he loves the pups just as much as I do. When he is home from work I usually find him snuggled up on the couch with one or all the pups. He is always very involved in the fun that the pups and I are having. We work as a team with everything, so you and your pup will both get to know him as well.

We own our home, which has a very nice, grassy backyard with plenty of space to run around and play in! It is fully fenced with 6ft tall wooden fencing. We even added an additional fenced area to allow the "littles" to be comfortable in their own space away from the monster paws of the "bigs" if necessary! I am a short drive away from the Fort Steilacoom park which I can take your dog to (with permission of course!). We spend most of the day hanging out and having a great time.

Doggy daycare is available depending on schedule!

I am available to watch your furry family member in your home as well. I can stop in twice daily to make sure they get plenty of love and attention. I am unable to stay overnight though, due to having dogs of my own as well as hosting. When I stop in to visit your pets I will feed, walk, play, and cuddle them until they are happy and calm!

Safe Place for Small Dogs!Tacoma, WA

My Background:

I am a 33-year-old college graduate who decided to put her environmental science degree to good use and care for dogs! Since July of 2017, I have been working full-time for Rover. I have a fully-fenced yard, two 24/7 webcams for clients to check in on their pups at any time, and a very open, flexible schedule. My dogs are small, friendly, and extremely socialized. I am currently only accepting dogs under 40 lbs (with the occasional exception) so you'll never have to worry about a big dog being too rough with your little ones. Dogs have full access to the backyard as long as I am home and awake, which maximizes exercise and minimizes accidents. I have no carpet in the house so puppies who are still learning are not a problem. Feel free to schedule a meet and greet with me! I am very responsive and will not make you wait! Smoke- and cat-free household.

I have watched 380 dogs since starting with Rover in July 2017. The most recent 100 are pictured on my profile. :)

Gibson's Guest HouseKent, WA

Hi, my name is Lisa. Over the past 20 years, I helped raise six Guide dogs for Guide Dogs For The Blind. Two of my dogs have gone on to Guide people in the United States. So as you can tell I am a dog lover! I have been dog sitting for over 5 years and now and really enjoy all the people and pups I meet.

I am a mother to two girls ages 6 and 9. We have a 4 month old Irish Setter/Golden Retriever named Thor and an 12-year-old Maltipoo named Cleo. Thor is an amazing little pup. He is very loyal, loving and smart. We are training him to be accepting of all the dogs that we watch and he's doing a great job. Cleo is a little older and keeps to herself mostly but she is a very loving dog and follows our youngest daughter everywhere she goes.

We live off Auburn-Black Diamond road in a nice quiet neighborhood. Our house sits on a third of an acre and offers lots of room for your pets to run around in and explore. We are also next to a greenbelt. The safety of your pup is always our first priority, therefore, we take certain precautions such as baby gates to restrict access to the front door to prevent escapes and require meet and greets with every pup to ensure they will be happy at Gibson's Guest House. We do not kennel the dogs we watch unless the owner requests it. We want them to feel as comfortable as they would if they were at home. Also, our yard is fully fenced and secure.

We will often go for walks around the neighborhood and take the dogs that are staying with us along. On particularly nice days we take our girls and Gibson to the parks in the area. We have a minivan so we can easily put several dogs in the car.

Gibson's Guest House was named after our dog Gibson who passed away from cancer on January 16th, 2019. He was 9 years old and our dog since October 2012. He was our oldest daughter's best friend and the center of our family. We have so many great memories of him and we will be forever grateful of the time we had with him.

We can offer a loving home to your dog while you are away. We take our dog everywhere and we will treat your dog the same way. Your dog will never be alone and they will be treated like part of our family. We look forward to meeting you and your pup!

Paws Are The BestLakewood, WA

In my home the fur kids have never been referred to as our pets, or that they are just dogs. Each one I’ve loved & currently love are family, which opened my heart to a lot of caring emotions loaded with unconditional comfort, fun moments & protection because I truly want them to have a happy life.

I’ve resides in this house since 1997 & during that time I’ve had three dogs, all Labradors/Lab Mix. Taylor & Chloe were my first fur kids who are frolicking at the Rainbow Bridge since Feb 2012 & 2013

Grace is my current fur child, she's so smart & sweet, a very loving girl. It's easy to provide affection, love & playtime everyday. She was 3 months old when we first met & she instantly melted my heart & without any hesitation I said well cutie you’ve found your fur ever home!

Her Birthday is in July -

(2020 - she'll be 8 years)

Becoming a Host & enjoying the opportunity to give more of my affection & great caring nature to other dogs was a good decision. I've provided care to many different breeds both big & small.

It's rewarding getting to know some great pet parents & their 4-legged fur kids. The friendships that I've gained give me reasons to smile and I'm proud of the trust I've built with people & their fur kids.

My day's are full of happy smiles, playtime, brief photography sessions, wagging tails & an abundance of kisses.

I truly love the service that I provide & your dog will definitely let you know that statement is true. On their second & future trips here the excitement of coming down the street I live on & how they run up to my door is only one example how they'll let you know.

Thanks to all my fur friends for telling your parents how happy you are here. It means SO much to me.

Woof!

Grace is always excited to see who's arriving to spend time with us. She likes to look out the window & barks when I tell her they'll be here soon.

Guest dogs are allowed up on the living room furniture because I want them to feel comfortable & allow them to be near me when I’m relaxing. I just toss a blanket on the couch to help protect the fabric & all is good. They’re even welcome on my bed too, as long as Grace has her spot ... she & Ican make room. Some guests prefer to sleep in their own dog bed in the bedroom, that's ok too.

Toys are around, but feel free to bring your dog's favorite when you come to visit, as well as their food ..(special treats) .. instructions, bed, blanket/crate. Whatever comforts they have in your home can be met when they are with me with things they are familiar with.

My home has a good sized enclosed backyard for security, potty breaks & playtimes. I like keeping it picked up during the day, stepping in a pile is no fun when the dogs are running & focused on playing. A treat jar sits on the kitchen counter & in the living room. It's funny how they always know where the snacks are. During the summertime, Ibring out the kiddie pool so that the 4-legged friends can splash & cool off. They always love to try to retrieve a floating toy in the water.

We love Dogs!!!! <3 <3 <3North End, Tacoma, WA

Hello fellow dog lover!

Are you gone all day at work and leaving your best friend at home all alone? Looking for a walk break for your baby while you’re working away? Going on that overnight excursion to the city and can't take your furry bestie because it's "no pets allowed" and hot- as- heck or too cold? My Family and I, including my 8 year old son, own a home in North Tacoma and have an outstanding, micro farm back yard. Fully fenced,100 % enclosed 1/4 acre, 7 fruit trees, grass and a huge deck for your four-legged family member to romp and play all day. We are a dog loving family from way back and have two small dogs of our own that are very friendly with other dogs and excellent (fixed...of course) play partners to the right, friendly companions. We have many covered areas and a mudroom that is a great rest/weather and transitional space and our dogs stay inside where its quiet, and cozy with us, as would your baby too. We have a dog doors and frequent potty breaks (1-1 1/2 hours typically all day long) and lots of constant play. Everybody stays busy all day and snuggles in the evening when the sun goes down. I have taught my son to be very, very respectful and gentle of animals, and we love to cuddle. We give our pets lots of love and attention and that would go for your best friends too. I love my home business and am available to love and care for your baby when you are not! a fun loving place for fidoSpanaway, WA

We are long time animal lovers, We have a precious black lab of our own. We have a 8 foot tall fully fenced yard for dogs to play in. We keep our house clean and tidy but don't mind an "accident " to clean up. We've been pet sitting for friends and family for years and absolutely love it. We love taking our dog on walks and would love to take yours on a walk to. I'm a stay at home mom so I'm here all day and night so your pet would never be alone. I love dogs of all sizes. I rarely travel my self so I'm available all year long.

Why I love dog sitting

I've been a dog lover ever since I was a kid. When I was little I used to think dogs were the most amazing things in the world I could never resist running up and asking to pet every dog that I saw. The first dog I ever had was a Pomeranian, then I ended up getting a bulldog , then a lab pit mix, and now I currently have a pure bred lab.
