“Bobbi is the best sitter I have had! My dog fit in perfectly at her home and was comfortable to entire visit. Bobbi kept me updated and was very flexible with our situation. Will most definitely book with her anytime I need a sitter in the future!”

“Jennifer was wonderful with our 120 lb dog. She kept us updated the entire time we were gone with pictures and messages. She took him on walks and even gave him a Thanksgiving treat. He loved her dogs and had so much fun the entire time. He got treated like he was part of the family the entire time he was there.”

“Jeannine was responsive and pleasant. She updated my pets status with pictures and notifications of how he was doing. She made the process easy and was flexible as I made a mistake on pick up time. A+”

“Great boarding experience with Molly. She was friendly, responsive, and flexible. She took amazing care of Rusty and kept me smiling with updates and pictures. I will definitely be using her for future boarding!”

“Volund loves Sheena and we feel super comfortable with her taking him. Didn't even get out of the truck before he was so excited to get into her house for his second "play-cation" Thank you!”

“She was amazing with my Lil Mookie. She took great care of him.amd sent us pictures. He was so happy to see us, but you could tell he enjoyed his time with her as well. If you need someone who will provide absolute comfort and give all the love one can to your fur baby, then she is the one to reach out to. She definitely loves what she does and for who she does it for. Thank you so much!”

“Melody did great job talking care Max . She sanded me pictures and write the notes about the Max and how he loves to cuddle with her and follow her around. Melody is very nice and she loves being taken care of Max . I’m really appreciate her.”

“Loc N was amazing with our Frenchie for the 2nd time and went above and beyond to care for Honey!! We highly recommend Loc and will use his services again.”

“Jaegan was able to watch my dogs with only a few days notice and as always he kept me updated with pics and videos. Dogs had a great time and definitely got lots of exercise and attention while I was gone.”

About: Hello! I grew up taking care of mostly dogs in my house until finally was able to get my own dog 6 years ago. I've experienced other people who love animals but I feel like I have a connection to dogs that beats out others, I can read a dogs vibe and match it pretty well. Currently take care of 2 mid-large sized dogs and 3 cats. Love it all! Also love taking pictures of dogs so I’ll make sure to get some model shots :) I recently got out of the Navy after 8 yrs and I am currently not working so I have all day to play with pets. I am go with the flow in whatever and whenever your animal needs to eat and go potty and play/train. I am very flexible with doing whatever you need in order to keep your pet safe and under control while still having fun while you're away.
“Gisella was amazing at responding to my last minute message to watch my Frenchy Mochi. She did an amazing job updating me throughout my shift his activities and with any questions she had. She also sent lovely photos. I would use Gisella again. 😊”

“Meredith was fantastic with Delta and gave her all the extra attention my very anxious girl needed during her stay. She understands dog needs, incorporated a slow and safe introduction to the other dogs present, and was quick to respond to any messages. Delta made a few friends, enjoyed playing with the other pups, and was exhausted by the time she was picked up. Will absolutely be boarding with Meredith in the near future.”

“Brandie was amazing! After picking up my dog he wouldn’t stop looking backwards towards her house for a couple miles. 5 nights was the longest I’ve ever been away from my dog and she did a super job of sending fun updates of the adventures he went on. Would definitely book again 🙂”

“Kristin was beyond amazing. My hubby & I boarded our pit bull Weatherly for a night with her. Our dog is reactive towards other dogs, and a pit bull, so trying to find someone to watch her that doesn't feel uneasy can be a bit hard. We did a meet & greet, and I instantly knew she was the one to take care of our dog Weatherly. Kristin is very personable, within 5min of talking with her she felt like a long time friend. She has great communication, my hubby & I got picture updates. Her & weatherly hit it off from the beginning, and Kristin was super attentive to Weatherly's needs. We love Kristin so much, we actually rebooked. Weatherly will get to hang out with Kristin for 5 days, while my family & I are on a trip. She's our go to person!! Thank you for taking such good care of our fur baby!!!”

“Timothy took in my dog for 6 days on very short notice & I couldn't be more grateful to have found him. This was my first experience with Rover & I was a bit hesitant. But he was accommodating to my dog's needs & communicative with me during her stay. I highly recommend Timothy!! He will be my first contact for my dog sitting needs. Thank you for opening up your home to Millie🙏”

“She's always going above and beyond. For instance, we forgot some of his things so she packed it up and had it ready for us to retrieve while she was away. Understand, the stay was over, but, still, she navigated the small issue without fail to come up with a solve that made it work for us. It's for these extraneous reasons that won't be visible on a user profile that we'll continue to use her services.”

“Wonder always has a wonderful stay at Ren’s! I liked receiving all the pictures and videos of Wonder playing and going on walks during her stay and quick replies from Ren.”

“Christen and her family are the best sitters! Shadow gets tons of attention and we love all the picture updates. It’s awesome to go on vacation and know that my fur baby is happy on a vacation of her own and hanging out with their dog Brew! Thanks again!”
“Charla is awesome; from the beginning she made us and Migi feel comfortable. Gave a good tour and explained the daily routine. Charla is very professional and a good communicator. She sent pictures and videos and my Migi warmed up to her pretty quick. We will definitely be repeat customers. Thank you Charla!”

“Loved Dana from the start! She watched our 1 year old English bulldog for 2 weeks for us and so glad we went through her. She dealt with numerous date changes (thank you military) and was still very gracious. Would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you again for watching our crazy pup for us!”

Lashon took excellent care of my dogs- there are three and they have very different personalities. Her family quickly understood the temperaments and neediness of my old ladies and energetic puppy. I will definitely book again! The puppy didn’t want to come home. That is always a great sign!

Nicole was awesome with our dog. He has some behavioral issues, so he’s not an easy dog but Nicole was a pro and he even came back to us with a more chill demeanor. It was so fun she sent us txt and video updates the whole weekend too! we’re really grateful she could watch our doggo. 10/10

If you’ve ever met a Vizsla, you know they’re not really a dog, they’re a Velcro powered, high octane emotional support missile. So trusting someone to watch ours was basically like handing over a caffeinated toddler with four legs and separation anxiety. And somehow… Kathy nailed it. Our Vizsla came home happy, exercised, emotionally fulfilled, and only mildly dramatic (which is a huge win). We received daily updates and plenty of action shots. Most importantly, they treated our stage-five clinger like family. 10/10. Would absolutely trust Kathy again with our beautiful, needy, rust-colored tornado

This was our first time using Rover and Stephanie did a great job taking care of our fur babies. It was a last minute booking and she was kind and accommodating, meeting us in the evening at a time that fit our schedule so we could meet her and see where they would be staying. Will definitely see if she is available next time.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
