“Our dog has stayed with Jennifer multiple times. He is always excited to see her and her dogs. It ends up being a fun vacation for him as well. Jennifer is amazing and is so easy to work with. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would without hesitation.”

“Thank you Kristina for taking care of our 2 dogs- it's hard to find someone that you feel comfortable enough to leave your babies with, especially with our big hyper dogs that can scare some with just their looks.. But, you made us feel like you totally understood our pups from the very second they got to meet you. Thank you so much!!”

“First time using Rover. Molly, her pups and home environment were very welcoming. My old dog has an expensive dislike to the crowded and noisy concrete boarding facilities. She seemed to enjoy staying in a quiet home like setting with a great backyard and a calming human. I will definitely use Molly again. Convenient and quick drop off and pick up. Thank you!”

“I needed to do a last minute appointment and she was willing to take care of him for a week! She did an incredible job especially with communicating and sending pictures :). She is an amazing dog sitter! Would leave her with my snoopy pup again ❤️.”

“Haylee was very attentive to our dogs needs. This was the first time our boys have been taken care of outside of the family. She is very knowledgeable about dog behavior and we appreciate that. Will definitely use her service again. Thanks Haylee!”

“Marlena looked after our 2 dogs one of which is blind, while we explored the park, she was incredible! Very friendly and caring, provided updates and pictures throughout the day and took great care of our babies!”

About: Hello! I grew up taking care of mostly dogs in my house until finally was able to get my own dog 6 years ago. I've experienced other people who love animals but I feel like I have a connection to dogs that beats out others, I can read a dogs vibe and match it pretty well. Currently take care of 2 mid-large sized dogs and 3 cats. Love it all! Also love taking pictures of dogs so I’ll make sure to get some model shots :) I recently got out of the Navy after 8 yrs and I am currently not working so I have all day to play with pets. I am go with the flow in whatever and whenever your animal needs to eat and go potty and play/train. I am very flexible with doing whatever you need in order to keep your pet safe and under control while still having fun while you're away.
“Melody did great job talking care Max . She sanded me pictures and write the notes about the Max and how he loves to cuddle with her and follow her around. Melody is very nice and she loves being taken care of Max . I’m really appreciate her.”

“This was our two large breed dogs first stay with Odalys. We went out of town for 6 night cruise and were inaccessible most of the time, but thankfully everything went great! I really appreciated all the updates and communication. I highly recommend her services! Thanks again Odalys!😊”

“Dylan was a perfect fit! He is great at communicating with you, and makes the whole process smooth and easy. He is well versed in various breeds and enjoys their companionship. Our puppy was still learning, and Dylan was able to continue the process and schedule. I would highly recommend utilizing his services if you are in need of someone.”

“Highly recommend! We booked last minute since we’re traveling and wanted to visit Rainier. Tim was super quick to respond and communicate with us. Being about to explore the park while knowing our dog was well taken care of was a huge relief.”

“Jennifer watched my pup Phinney this weekend and it looked like he had a blast!! She was responsive and kind, making time for a meet and greet before. We will definitely be reaching out in the future and are so appreciative for her (and Argus!!) who took great care of our fur baby.”

“Khaytlen was absolutely wonderful! We had our dogs with her for 9 days while away and we received information and updates multiple times per day with photos, video clips and text messages letting us know the dogs were doing well. If we reached out, she responded very promptly. The pups had the best time with her crew, playing and getting tuckered out on adventures. I would highly recommend her services. Thanks for everything!”

“Went away for 10 days are left our pup to our go to dog watcher, Jaegen. Our dog was well taken care of and you know he gets plenty of play time because he spends the next two days at home just laying on the floor barely moving. It's nice to take your dog to someone you trust that pays lots of attention to your dog while you are away.”

“They are just the best you can tell they really loved on my pup and even with all my flight troubles they did everything they could to make sure my pet was comfortable and taken care of.”
“We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Julie & Dennis! From the very beginning, they were professional, communicative, and genuinely caring. They treated our dog like part of their own family and truly went above and beyond to make sure he felt comfortable and loved. We received regular updates and adorable pictures throughout his stay, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear he wasn’t just being “watched”, he was being spoiled with attention, affection, and thoughtful care. When we picked him up, he was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. You can tell they truly love animals and take pride in what they do. We are so grateful to have found such kind, trustworthy people and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional pet care!”

“Christen and Hugo are simply the best Rover sitters ever! I am so happy to have my sweet pup Olive in their care and they always make sure she is comfortable and has fun. Thank you!!!”

Lashon took excellent care of my dogs- there are three and they have very different personalities. Her family quickly understood the temperaments and neediness of my old ladies and energetic puppy. I will definitely book again! The puppy didn’t want to come home. That is always a great sign!

Nicole was awesome with our dog. He has some behavioral issues, so he’s not an easy dog but Nicole was a pro and he even came back to us with a more chill demeanor. It was so fun she sent us txt and video updates the whole weekend too! we’re really grateful she could watch our doggo. 10/10

If you’ve ever met a Vizsla, you know they’re not really a dog, they’re a Velcro powered, high octane emotional support missile. So trusting someone to watch ours was basically like handing over a caffeinated toddler with four legs and separation anxiety. And somehow… Kathy nailed it. Our Vizsla came home happy, exercised, emotionally fulfilled, and only mildly dramatic (which is a huge win). We received daily updates and plenty of action shots. Most importantly, they treated our stage-five clinger like family. 10/10. Would absolutely trust Kathy again with our beautiful, needy, rust-colored tornado

Wendy did a great job with watching our dog Ziya and cat Leo. She kept us updated with how they were doing with pictures and videos and responded in a timely manner. When dropping my fur babies off, I initially felt scared because I’ve never had a stranger watch them before, but after initially meeting Wendy and hearing about how Ziya and Leo were doing I felt a whole lot better. I would bring them back to her again. Thanks Wendy!

This was our first time using Rover and Stephanie did a great job taking care of our fur babies. It was a last minute booking and she was kind and accommodating, meeting us in the evening at a time that fit our schedule so we could meet her and see where they would be staying. Will definitely see if she is available next time.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
