About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have over 25 years of experience caring for them. I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes and breeds, from small companion dogs to German Shepherds and Huskies. I’m currently raising my third Husky, Sirus, who is an incredibly loving, playful, and friendly boy! I’m also a nursing student with a background in emergency medicine, and I have experience caring for dogs with more complex medical needs. My previous Husky had both diabetes and cancer, so I’m very familiar with administering medications, giving injections, monitoring health conditions, and providing extra attention to dogs who need it. I understand that leaving your dog with someone else can be stressful, which is why I treat every dog in my care like they’re part of my own family. Whether your pup loves playing, cuddling on the couch, or just relaxing, I want them to feel completely comfortable and loved while they’re here. I’ll also send pictures, videos, and updates throughout their stay so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy, safe, and being well taken care of! I’m currently a nursing student, so a lot of my free time is spent at home studying and hanging out with my Husky, Sirus! All outdoor activities are supervised, and dogs are always kept on a leash. Inside my home, your pup is treated like family! They’re welcome to cuddle on the couch, relax on the furniture, play with toys, or simply hang out with Sirus and me. I want them to feel comfortable, loved, and secure while you’re away. As a nursing student with a background in emergency medicine, I understand the importance of safety, recognizing changes in health, and responding appropriately when something isn’t right. I also have personal experience caring for dogs with serious medical conditions, including diabetes and cancer. I’m comfortable administering medications and prescribed injections with proper instructions. I follow each pet’s individual feeding schedule, medication routine, and care instructions closely. I’ll also provide regular pictures, videos, and updates throughout their stay so you can enjoy your time away knowing your furry family member is in loving hands. I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time so every pup receives the individual attention, supervision, and affection they deserve. We had been struggling to find the right boarder for our anxious dog, and we’re SO glad we found Tobi. We really appreciated that she checked in with updates as he settled in, and before long, he was clearly happy and relaxed! He usually takes a long time to warm up to strangers and isn’t a big snuggler, so it’s a testament to their skill with anxious dogs that I got multiple pics of him snuggling with different people on their big cozy couch. We loved the photo updates, and we had a relaxing trip knowing he was in good hands. We will definitely rebook!
If you’ve ever met a Vizsla, you know they’re not really a dog, they’re a Velcro powered, high octane emotional support missile. So trusting someone to watch ours was basically like handing over a caffeinated toddler with four legs and separation anxiety. And somehow… Kathy nailed it. Our Vizsla came home happy, exercised, emotionally fulfilled, and only mildly dramatic (which is a huge win). We received daily updates and plenty of action shots.
