During the week I have a handful of regular clients that occupy my time typically from 10 am to 2 pm. My weekends are mostly free and I am home every evening unless house sitting - in that case, my husband is home every evening from 6 pm to 7:30 am. I am always 30 minutes or less from my home and even during house sitting stays, I am coming home to check in on and provide company to my own two pups. They're never alone for more than four hours. Currently, my family is growing, and my house sits will be on a temporary hiatus as my husband and I adjust to having a tiny human in the house. My home has a moderate size yard that is fully fenced. I also have a doggy door that leads to the backyard for full access when someone is home. As I have cats and small caged critters, I do prefer boarding stays to be crate trained. My own dogs are crate trained and absolutely love their "box." It is their safe space for when life or other dogs becoming too overwhelming. In my experience, I have found that bringing your dog's crate (along with some beds and blankets) helps your dog have their own safe space to relax or retreat to when needed. It also keeps everyone safe while I am out tending to regular walking clients. When house sitting I try my best to keep to your dog's typical routine. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Crate when leaving, or close bedroom doors. Walks around the neighborhood or play in the backyard. Not allowed on furniture, sleeping in bed with you, etc. Please let me know what your furry friend is accustomed to! Please keep in mind that I will not be able to stay in your home 24/7 as I have regular clients during the week that I need to walk. I will be able to stay in your home through the entire night with regular afternoon potty breaks.

About: Hello! I grew up taking care of mostly dogs in my house until finally was able to get my own dog 6 years ago. I've experienced other people who love animals but I feel like I have a connection to dogs that beats out others, I can read a dogs vibe and match it pretty well. Currently take care of 2 mid-large sized dogs and 3 cats. Love it all! Also love taking pictures of dogs so I’ll make sure to get some model shots :) I recently got out of the Navy after 8 yrs and I am currently not working so I have all day to play with pets. I am go with the flow in whatever and whenever your animal needs to eat and go potty and play/train. I am very flexible with doing whatever you need in order to keep your pet safe and under control while still having fun while you're away.

About: I have been taking care of dogs almost every week on the weekends along with sitting for my neighborhood dogs, cats, birds and guinea pigs while they are on vacation or away from their home. I am comfortable feeding dogs, interacting with them and I love to give lots of love. I am familiar with giving medication’s to dogs if needed. About: Growing up, I’ve always had pets, and my first childhood pet was a cat named Blackie. Later, we added another cat, Oreo, to the family. Around the same time, we welcomed Tank, our German Shepherd/Shar-Pei mix, who became my loyal companion from elementary school through high school. I took care of Tank every day, and he was so sweet and gentle that he even helped people overcome their fear of dogs. When Blackie and Oreo passed, we brought two more cats, Dickie and Roxy, into our family. Over time, Dickie disappeared, and I got another cat, Marley, who had a litter of kittens. We kept one and named her Gracie. Shortly after having her kittens, Marley passed away. Later, I got another cat, Buddy, who eventually ran away. Now, as an adult, I’ve continued my love for pets with my two current cats, Dayz May and Willow, who I care for alongside my boyfriend, a fellow animal lover (especially when it comes to cats). Though my journey with cats has been lifelong, I’ve always had a deep love for dogs. Tank will always hold a special place in my heart, and I jump at any chance to care for dogs, like my aunt’s and mom’s pets. I still get as excited as a child spotting a pony whenever I see a dog, eager to pet, play with, and spoil them. About: My experience with dog covers just about all fields there are. I spent 10+ years showing herding breeds in showmanship and obedience, often at the state level. This included all the required grooming and handling skills that comes with performing at a pro level. I also trained lessons at 4-H clubs once a week for 5 years. I helped teach kids how to teach their dogs and during that time I worked with dogs big and small. Fear aggressive and wild lab puppies. I continued my training at a local boarding facility where Ive been exposed to even more unique dogs. This facility specialized in dogs that needed special care or more technical help than regular boarding places could provide. Food aggressive malinois, elderly pitbulls that have specific medical needs and anxious poodles are all just a regular Tuesday for me. I'm always looking for a new experiences and a challenge! My goal is flexibility! Any day of the week, morning and night, I'm available. My work day starts late enough in the day for most if not all morning activities and I'm off perfectly on time for afternoon walkies. I've house sat for dozens of times. In my 10+ years of connection with 4-H, I've watched many members pets over the years. This included more unique animals like reptiles and birds all the way to a guinea pig barn. My goal is to keep everything as in routine as possible. Pets are already anxious when their parents leave so doing everything just like you do helps minimize any added stress. No such thing as too much information!
About: I've worked at kennels before, I have a special needs dog, I get along with all dogs, I've taught my dogs to sit and stay in sign language. I can feed, walk, play with, and medicate dogs. I even used to sleep with my Pixie because she has epilepsy and I could wake up and medicate her during her seizures. I would walk my dogs every day with a backpack full of treats, doggy bags, and water. I took ASL for 2 years in high school, so I can communicate with deaf customers and deaf doggies. I'm a bit out of practice, but I can definitely get by in a conversation. I love all furry and four legged creatures and I hope to be walking yours! I'm currently mom to 3 cats (and one gecko). I've been a cat owner since childhood and have had dogs in the past as well as experience working in kennels. Pet care is my life. I love my furry kids and I'd love to work with yours. I'm very available and flexible for your pets needs. I'm widely available right now and would love to fill my spare time with caring for pets, whether it is walks, drop ins, or an overnight. I should be able to adapt to most requests and understand life can get weird, so I accept same day bookings or same day cancellations at least for walks and drop ins, should also be fine for overnights. I don't think I've met a fur baby I can't make friends with and every booking or request from a friend has been an absolute joy. I promise they'll be well loved in my care.

About: I love spending time with dogs of all kinds. My family dog passed away of old age (13 years) last year so I love the thought of spending time with other people’s dogs and giving them love when their families can’t be there. I currently have a golden doodle named Loki (2 years old) who lives with my friend and have taught him to sit, shake, lay down, and whisper bark! I am currently a graduate student studying speech language pathology at the University of Washington. All funds that I make through Rover go towards paying my tuition. I can dog sit anytime that is available on my calendar :) I make sure to provide lots of pictures and updates for the parents. In case anything is out of the ordinary, I always make sure to have vet information before the families leave.
