“Our dog Penny always has so much fun at Mrs. Katie's house. She loves playing with their dog Blue and snuggling, relaxing later. It's her fun vacation home away from home.”

“Thank you Harlie for taking great care of my Frenchies. They had a great time and were very sleepy when they got home. I didn’t worry about them at all! We will be calling again.”

“Leslie took great care of our pup Rudy for the night so we could go out of town. She sent lots of updates on how he was doing during the stay with pictures. She was also willing to watch him last minute as well. Will absolutely be booking with her again!”

“Carol was a fantastic host. She had great communication and her home was perfect for my dog with a big fenced in back yard and plenty of space inside for my dog to rest and be comfortable while I was away. I will definitely be booking her again when I go out of town.”

“This was my significant other and I’s first time using Rover. We came across Kristen and booked till about a week with her while we were out on vacation . She is very knowledgeable of how dogs can be and lifted all the worries we had off our shoulders. While out on vacation, she provided continued updates with pictures of how our 2 fur balls were doing! They were having the time of their lives and having their own little vacation. I highly recommend booking with her if she’s available, you and your pet will be taken care of! Thank you again Kristen for watching them, we can’t thank you enough!”

“Sally & her family did a wonderful job taking care of our two dogs. She made us feel comfortable from the meet & greet onwards. We had never left them before and were anxious about doing it. But, Sally sent us lots of messages, photo's & videos during our week long trip away which reassured us that our dogs were doing fine in her care. We are so glad to have found her and will definitely have her take care of our pups again.”

“Cindy did a fantastic job watching Cassie! She was attentive, thoughtful, and listened to all of the details we shared about Cassie’s routine and personality. It was clear that Cassie was well cared for and comfortable while we were away. Cindy was also highly communicative, providing regular updates and sending photos, which gave us great peace of mind. We really appreciated the care and attention she gave, and we wouldn’t hesitate to have her watch Cassie again. Highly recommend!”

“Wonderful family. Great communication and lots of picture and video updates daily. We were late for our return flight, but they were very understanding, even if we picked our dog up almost a day later.”

“Keri and family did an awesome job with our pug! Our pug does not like to go to anyone's house overnight. Howe he was sad to come home when we picked him up, which shows how much she did a great job with him!”

“Kerri and Kerry were absolutely wonderful with Jagger! They were incredibly accommodating with our schedule, allowing us both an early drop-off and a late pickup. We loved getting the regular photo updates throughout the day, which gave us total peace of mind. It looks like Jagger had a good time and even made a new friend in Beau. We highly recommend them and will definitely be booking again.”

“Thanks for watching our pup while we were gone! We received some pictures and updates throughout her stay and she looked happy being there. We’ll definitely check back for future boarding needs.”

“I cannot express the amount of detail and love that he puts into caring for our dogs. We've done everything you can imagine: dog boarding, PetSmart, friends and family but we've never had such an amazing experience with George and his lovely family. Our dogs were welcomed with such open arms while checking in with us to see how they are doing. The care they received was above and beyond and I couldn't be happier to make him out exclusive dog sitter :)”

About: Hi! I am a dog parent to a sweet Pembroke Welsh corgi and I know how important it is to find someone who truly gets your dogs need from daily routine routines to emotional comfort. I value enrichment just as much as exercise from sniff walks and food puzzles to games and new experiences. I make sure dogs get the mental stimulation they need to feel satisfied and balanced. Whether your dog is high energy or prefers a slower pace I’ll taylor their day to the unique needs. I am attentive and committed to treating your pup like one of my own with lots of love gentle structure and constant updates to keep you in the loop. I am available everyday, from 6am to 5pm (sometimes even until 8pm). My Corgi is friendly and is also ready to play (if your dog wishes to). I follow what you indicate and do what’s best for your Pup. I knos how to read dog’s body language and is ready to make them feel loved. I am attentive of what your Pup puts in their mouth, the environment they are walking around, the noises… anything that might cause trouble.

“Jordan was fantastic. My boy loved her. She was easy to communicate with. He’s not an easy dog and she was patient and loving with him. Highly recommend.”

“This is our first time using Laurin as our dog sitter. She was very helpful accomodating our last minute booking because our dog sitter has canceled on us. Our dog was super happy, stayed active and feel loved by her and her wonderful family! Thank you so much! Totally recommend her 👌 ❤️”

“Val took a good care of Bobo and he looked like he had a lot of fun! Thanks! I also found out from Val that Bobo got along with the kitten that is staying with her. Because otherwise I would never know how he is with kittens. That is very good to hear.”

Here's a polished review you can post: Writing Camille is an exceptional pet sitter! She accommodated us on very short notice and took wonderful care of our dog, Shadow, while we were on vacation in Washington. She kept us updated every day with photos and messages, which gave us great peace of mind. She even went the extra mile by bringing Shadow back to our place for us. We truly appreciated her kindness, reliability, and excellent communication. I highly recommend Camille to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter! Thank you again Camille!

Leslie was a god send for us and our Russ, truly an amazing person who deeply cares about dogs in general, took the time to listen to us about our dog’s health concerns, communicated with us constantly and made sure our vacation went smoothly thanks to the care she took of our big guy. She sent photos and videos of him having a blast and enjoying her family and property. A true 1000/10 experience. We are forever grateful for finding her and getting to work with such a kind soul, our Russ was legitimately sad to leave her, thank you!

I booked with Amanda and her family very last minute for the Thanksgiving holiday as I was going out of town (not my usual protocol or M-O). Im a first time Rover client and my mind was instantly put at ease. They couldn't of have been any nicer. They are an adorable family with the cutest older bestest bois ever. Mama definitely enjoyed her time. Amanda sent me pictures during her stay and put my mind at ease. I truly appreciate everything and I will for sure be booking with them again in the near future. I cant say Thank You enough to them. They opened their home and hearts for my quirky one good eye, one and a half teeth old lady.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in WA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
