About: With over five years of experience caring for a wide range of animals, I've developed a genuine love and understanding for each one's unique needs. From dogs and cats to birds, reptiles, and small mammals, I've provided attentive care, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness. Whether it's daily walks and playtime for energetic pups, gentle cuddles for feline friends, or specialized care for more exotic pets, I'm committed to providing a nurturing environment where every animal feels loved and secure. I currently do online school. I’m very free on weekends and week ends! I will be able to house sit as well as be very active and flexible. I have a big fenced back yard. As well as 2 of my own dogs who are VERY friendly. I also have a car to be able to transport!
“Silvia was absolutely wonderful! I am an anxious person about our dogs' care. We also have a senior dog with her own quirks. Silvia was kind and patient in getting to know our dogs and communicated with me every day about the visits. I highly recommend her and look forward to requesting her support for our dogs in the future! Thank you so much, Silvia!!”

“Anna has been fantastic with our dog, Chad. She’s reliable, communicative, and clearly cares about the dogs she works with. We always feel confident knowing Chad is in good hands, and he’s always happy after his walks. Highly recommend Anna to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive dog walker!”

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs, and am familiar with many other kinds of animals. I have sat for non-family/friends and well as them included many times before! I have managed taking care of 5+ pets at once, given proper meds, care, playtime, etc. This experience ranges from kittens/puppies just a few days old, to older aged animals. I work “full time” but I work around 30 hours and I have a lot of split shifts so time before or after to check-in with the pets. This looks like morning feed, going outside, if any meds or vitamins need to be taken or same with after depending on the time of day needed. Depending on circumstances of boundaries and rules of each pet, I easily find a solution and adapt if needed. I will watch your dog/cat outside or on a leash front or back of yard. If there are off-limit areas inside our outside those will be closed doors or if there’s a gate it will be put up per clients request. If there needs to be check-ins with owner that be applicable, I am attentive to my phone, when and if necessary.
“Andrhu is such a wonderful walker for our family, our girls really see him as a friend and playmate. He is so caring and really keeps our girls happiness and safety in the forefront if each visit. We feel such comfort knowing they are safe with him and that they have a great time playing, exploring and getting the daily stimulation we can't always provide when we are working”

I also foster dogs, cats, and small critters, so I have experience with pets of all personalities, ages, and needs Pet care fits so naturally into my day because I genuinely love having animals around me. My schedule is super flexible. I’m in part-time school and work part-time so I have plenty of time. When pets are in my home, they’re treated like part of the family. I keep a close eye on them at all times making sure they’re safely leashed outside, supervised during playtime, and always comfortable. I follow whatever routines they’re used to, like feeding schedules, crate time, or potty breaks, so they feel calm and at home. There’s always lots of love, attention, and gentle structure to keep them happy and safe. When I’m caring for pets in someone else’s home, respect is everything to me. About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on pet care experience. My most recent pet was my Beagle, who I loved and cared for over 12 years. I've also recently helped care for my daughter's 3 dogs while she worked. In addition, I've house sat and provided pet care as a side job, so I'm comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and giving pets a lot of attention and care. I'd love to treat your pets like family while you're away! My schedule is flexible 7 days a week at the current time, which allows me to be available and attentive to each pet's individual needs and routine. I provide attentive, reliable care for both pets and your home so you can feel confident while you're away. I follow your pet's normal routine closely, including walks, feedings, playtime and any special instructions, while making sure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for. I will treat your home with the same respect as if it were my own so when you return home, everything is just as you left it.

About: I have two dogs, a 9-year-old golden retriever and a 5-year-old mini Australian shepherd, both of which I have raised since they were 8 weeks old. I love to walk with them and would love to walk with your dog too! I am patient and kind with all animals (and people too) and would love to spend time walking your dog when you don’t have the time to do so. I work full time during the school year, but now that school is over for the summer, I have lots of free time to walk your dog if you don’t! I have two children, ages 10 and 15, who like to join me sometimes, which helps me “trick” them into getting them off their devices. :-) I am not looking to care for other pets in my home or their home at this time, but am available to walk your dog(s) when you can’t.
About: I currently have two Maltese and have been a devoted dog owner for almost 20 years. One of them was a rescue with an unforgettable personality, which only strengthened my love and appreciation for animals. Dogs hold a special place in my heart, and I treat them with the same care, attention, and affection that I would give to family. I genuinely enjoy meeting and interacting with dogs and often find myself stopping to say hello to a pup and their owner during my day. Whether your dog prefers a leisurely walk or a more energetic run, I am happy to accommodate their needs. Safety is always my top priority, and I believe dogs deserve a walker who is fully attentive and present. When your dog is in my care, they will have my complete focus and attention. Professionally, I am a nurse, a role that has strengthened my sense of responsibility, compassion, and attention to detail. In my personal time, I love running and spending time outdoors. Combining my passion for an active lifestyle with my love of dogs makes this an ideal opportunity for me, and I would be honored to care for your furry family member. I'm currently working part-time and headed back to school. I am open from afternoon through evenings and weekend walks. I can't stand being in the house so you could find me out walking or running often. I might as well pick up your furry friend along the way! I am comfortable taking your friend on a walk, run, or just playing at home. I am only comfortable with letting them out unleashed if it is a fenced in area. On walks, I must have a leash for maximum safety. No running loose, please!
About: I've taken care of many of my friends pets, dogs and cats when they are away. I absolutely love doing it! Pets are part of the family! I am currently working part time doing instacart so I am on the road and can stop whenever I need to let them out or take them on a walk. I am also starting school this summer so I will be available after classes as well. I usually stay over at my friend's house whenever they are gone to watch their fur babies. So they feel comfortable and safe in there own space.
About: I have had all sorts of pets from chinchillas to parakeets to dogs and cats. I have experience taking care of neighbors pets as well as my own. I have traveled a bit and needed pet care many of times so I know how it can be hard to leave your pets with others so I try to provide pet sitting just like you would do you don’t have to worry. I am available most mornings and evenings throughout the week. I can provide both pet walking service and overnight at your home. I am flexible and will do my best to fit your schedule. I take my dog for a couple walks every day. We crate when not at home. We mostly free feed and our dog is fully housebroken. I understand many pet parents have their own pet care system and I will follow that system.
“My Enzo seems to really enjoy his time with Piper. He’s extreme high energy and she’s great at staying calm and sweet with him. I appreciate knowing he’s with someone who loves him and other animals as much as I do.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
