About: Hey I’m Taylor McDaniels and is 23 years old. I have been having pets my whole life. Sometime in the future I want to be a veterinarian. Also, I have experience of taking of other pets even had business of my own doing dog walking and pet sitting. I had also volunteered at an animal shelter cleaning kennels, dog walking and just simply playing with them. Right now I have two reptiles living in my home a snake and a bearded dragon. I had 3 cats, 5 dogs, a hamster, an iguana and rabbit. I enjoy a pets company I have no problem taking care of any pets. I have been wanting to be a vet since I was in 6th grade and love working with pets.
“Thank Goodness for Abby. So happy we found her. Sheila Marie immediately loved her and so do we. We had trouble finding a regular Walker and She is just an absolute doll and we are just so thankful to have her ❤❤”
“Thank you for taking extra care and going on a longer walk to avoid other dogs! I’m so glad scooter remembered you and he looked SO HAPPY in the photos you took! Thank you so much!!”

“WOW, Ashley - you took so many beautiful photos on your short walk around the neighborhood! I can tell she is so happy and ready for a midday nap. Thank you for being so good to my big baby girl! I am so thankful that we connected through Rover - I greatly appreciate your care with Riley Lou today!”

“I don’t think Nikki has ever said no to sitting! That’s incredible! She takes my pups out for good walks twice a day (more exercise than they probably get with just me). When I get home everything is always perfect and the dogs are happy. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of many pets for my family over the years, currently I’m helping my aunt with her high-energy border collie/german shepherd mix. I love taking dogs for walks, playing fetch, roughhousing with them, anything to get that energy out! I’m in between jobs right now and I’m looking to start college later in the fall. My schedule is very flexible and I have lots of free time. I’m good at following verbal/written instructions regarding boundaries within your home, as well as specific instructions about your pets needs. I’ll always ask the owner if I’m unsure about something.
“Andrhu is so great with our girls! He plays so well with our social dog so that she is worn out and happy when we get home. For our shy dog, he gives gentle attention and praise, working to form a bond of trust. He was also so thoughtful to stow our Amazon delivery safely out of sight. He really is the best!”

About: I have had animals in my life for as long as I can remember, and every single animal that has stepped through our doors, big or small, has instantly become a part of the family. If our four-legged friend was with us for just a couple of hours or for the rest of their lives, they have gotten the love and care they deserve. Your dog will get treated like they are a part of the family, and all of their individual needs will be cared for and met as instructed by the owner. I am committed to ensuring your fur babies are treated like the royalty they are! I am currently taking a gap year and spending the majority of my time at home with my horses. Folding the care of your loved one will be easy to do, as I have a lot of flexibility. I can provide specific care to your pup, whether it is two walks a day or short training moments throughout the time they are with me i can do it! I have a large, fully fenced yard, and a neighborhood with lots of different areas to walk. There are no children in the house, so if your pup prefers a house that is slower paced with a calmer environment, this is the place for you. I will be accepting one pup at a time or one family of pups at a time, so if your dog/ dogs are not comfortable around new dogs, that will not be a problem here. I have two horses that live in my yard, so if you would prefer your dog to be fully leashed while exploring the yard, that is completely possible, but if you are comfortable having your dog explore the outdoors while supervised, that can also be done.
About: Cat Expert: Six years of caring for my own cat taught me how to give long-term love and support (feeding, grooming, and lots of cuddles!). Dog Buddy: I easily connect with dogs of all breeds and sizes. I am confident in providing active, safe walks and giving your pup plenty of one-on-one attention. Cozy Overnights: I would be happy to stay overnight at your home! This is the best way to ensure your pet doesn't miss you too much, their routine stays perfect, and they feel safe and secure while you are away. I'm currently unemployed, so I have plenty of time to look after your pets. I'm available from 6 a.m. and can take care of your pets at a time convenient for you. I don't work on Saturdays. Unfortunately, I can't host your animals at my home, but I'll be happy to care for them on your property. Rest assured, they won't get bored.
About: Hi, I'm Andrea and I hope we can host a cozy stay for your dog! I am a stay at home mom with my 2 kids 1 & 6. My family is extremely in love with dogs and all animals. Almost as much as me and are always very gentle since we had an older doggy to care for. I grew up around dogs my whole life and understand that they are a part of the family. I would love to care for your little fur baby and look forward to meeting you and if you have any questions let me know. Thanks for considering me to watch your doggy! I’m normally home with my kids most of the day unless it’s picking up my son from school 5 minutes away, so we have a lot of time to go on walks and play. Pet care is something I’ve always enjoyed! We have a fully fenced in back yard with plenty of room to run. I’m always watching out for any animals even if they’re just out by mistake.
“Our husky was playing hide and seek with Darrienne on her first visit so she had to adjust the walk route. She is great with the dogs and now they are excited to see her. The applies especially to our husky who is usually a bit aloof. She is concerned for their well being and has changed walk times and/or days due to hot weather. We will be using her services again for our next vacation in September if she is available.”

About: I’ve had both dogs and cats in the home since I was born and I’ve always loved helping care for them. My first few jobs involved working at a dog boarding/daycare facility and since then my passion for animals has only increased. I have now been working as a veterinary assistant, in both the ER and general practice, for over 5 years. I am comfortable working with pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am trained in providing medications, ( I have a current Veterinary medication clerk license) including injectable, and am CPR trained. Besides the medical stuff, I am a very outdoorsy and active person. I can accommodate any of your pets needs. My dog is my best friend and I understand how stressful it can be to trust somebody with your beloved pets. My goal is to make it known that your furry friends are in the best hands and are being well loved on while you are away.I can perform baths, nail trims, and Anal gland expressions if requested and if your pet is tolerant to it. ** I am on spring break and have open availability March 17-April 6 ** Starting April 6th I have clinicals Mondays, Tuesdays and thursdays from 8-4 and classes Wednesday and Friday from 8-130. I am still available during the week for all services but please note that certain days I will be gone for roughly 8 hours. My weekends are always open I treat everybody’s property with the same respect that I would want from my pet sitters. No guests over, no touching things that aren’t required, and making sure to keep things tidy.
South Hill dog parents share their Rover experiences
I went into early labor and needed help with checking in on our 2 pups. Mikaila quickly confirmed the appointments and went far and beyond to ensure that not only were my boys taken care of during my labor and delivery, but also our home. We appreciate her so much!

We went on an extended vacation and had a family member watch Finley, but I knew he wouldn’t be getting the exercise he was used to. I found Gabby on Rover based on her great reviews, and I’m so glad I did! She is an amazing person—super responsive and thoughtful. She took the time to answer all of my (many!) questions and even shared some incredibly helpful tips for preventing Finley from pulling on walks. Her advice worked wonders! I also loved that she sent daily photo updates, which gave me peace of mind while we were away. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and knowledgeable dog walker.
