“When a family emergency arised, Leslie was able to accommodate my cat in my home. I was sent pictures every day along with how she was doing. I will be using Leslie for my planned vacation next month. I highly recommend her services!”

About: I grew up helping to care for and walk my neighbors’ two elderly beagles, so I’m very comfortable with senior dogs. I have experienced in handling dogs who love to sniff and tug on the leash. Over the past few years, I’ve regularly walked a variety of dogs in my neighborhood, including those over 50 pounds, so I’m confident with larger breeds. I also have a dog of my own (Fox) a sweet Border Collie/Lab mix we’ve owned for 6 years. I’m open to working with all breeds and am comfortable walking dogs of all ages and energy levels. I’m a part-time student with a flexible schedule and open availability throughout the day. I’m happy to offer longer walks or multiple check-ins any day of the week except Thursday. I’m available as early as 8:30 AM and can schedule walks or drop-ins as late as 8:00 PM. When I’m caring for dogs in a client’s home, I do my best to make your pet feel safe, relaxed, and at home in their own space. I stick to their usual routine—whether that’s walk times, feeding, or just hanging out—to keep things familiar and low-stress. I’m always careful with doors, leashes, and anything safety-related, and I treat your home with respect, leaving things just as I found them. I take the time to get to know each pet and let them come to me when they’re ready. Whether your dog needs play, cuddles, or just someone to chill with, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at.
“Mikaila is such a kind person and a wonderful cat sitter! She sent me so many pictures and updates of Pixel, spent time giving her pets as well as her food, and spotted something health-wise that I'd forgotten to tell her about– talk about observant! I feel SO confident leaving her in the diligent care of Mikaila and am so relieved to have found her to be Pixel's new BFF when I'm out of town.”

“It was awesome knowing that our pets were being cared for. We didn’t worry a bit. Andrhu immediately made us feel comfortable leaving. He went above and beyond. I strongly recommend Andru to everyone looking for a caring and dependable pet sitter.”

“Mariko was very communicative from the moment I booked, answering and asking questions to get to know more about my cat before our booking even began. She sent lots of daily updates with pictures and videos and took great care of our Brie. We will definitely use her again when we go on vacation. ☺️”

“We’ve used Piper several times now, and she’s absolutely wonderful! She’s kind, reliable, and really pays attention to our dogs and their needs. We just adore her and couldn’t ask for a better sitter!”

“I admit I had separation anxiety leaving my two elder cats due to all the extra attention they received during the pandemic! This was my first trip since end of 2019 and Susan (at the last minute) came to my rescue after a relative had to cancel pet sitting. Susan came on time twice a day, sent pictures daily, and kitties looked happy upon my return. Thank you so much for your time and care. Much appreciated!!”
“Cheryl took wonderful care of our 3 dogs while we were away. She dropped in several times and was fantastic at even coaxing our little one out to go potty when it was raining out (she is NOT a fan of the rain!). She sent pics and we know our dogs were happy to have someone spend time with them.”

“Leslie is great! She checks in on my cat when I am out of town. Making sure she gets her meds, food, and a clean litter box. I definitely recommend her to look after your pets!”
“Jaz was dependable and our dog loved her! She came to visit and take care of our dog twice a day for 4 days while we were out of town. Our family will definitely be using her again!”

“My cat Charlee was content and happy when I arrived home after a 5 day vacation. Anna's daily visits made all the difference in keeping my cat feeling safe, secure & loved.”

About: Pets have always been an important part of my life since I was a kid. I have had cats and dogs my entire life, I am 50 now. I have raised and trained many puppies & kittens and continued to care for them as they became seniors, some with health issues, such as cancer and kidney failure, that required special care and love. I love caring for pets as they rely on us for everything and I believe they should all be well taken care of and happy & healthy throughout their entire lives. We currently have a 15 year old cat that we rescued 11 years ago. Sadly, our dog recently passed or we would have one of each. I am truly an animal lover. I work from home selling baseball cards and collectibles so I have complete flexibility to care for your pets at the times that you and they need me. I have had pets my entire life so I am very familiar with the different care that each pet can need. They all have their own personalities and I am good with all types of animals. From high anxiety pets, I had my own, to the easy to care for and every kind in between. Whether it's your dogs or cats, I will care for yours as I have always cared for my own, with lots of love and attention.
About: I have owned dogs my entire life. I worked part time as a vet tech at an animal rescue/hospital in my hometown and I am a former foster for Old Dog Haven. I was lucky enough to visit Villalobos, the famous pit bull rescue in New Orleans. I love all animals and would be honored for the opportunity to take care of your pets while you’re away. I work from home 2 days a week and my office is 5 minutes from home. My schedule is flexible so I am able to take time out for potty breaks, feedings, etc. Weekend boarding is available with some exceptions for weekday boarding and/or doggy daycare. I have a large fenced yard with plenty of room for running and playing fetch. I have an extra large kennel for those pups who are used to being kenneled at night. I am experienced in administering medications, including injections. I have 2 border collie/aussies who are tons of fun and a very sweet 4 year old cat living in my home now. I would love to keep your dog safe, warm and well cared for while you’re away!
About: Hi! I am a dog parent to a sweet Pembroke Welsh corgi and I know how important it is to find someone who truly gets your dogs need from daily routine routines to emotional comfort. I value enrichment just as much as exercise from sniff walks and food puzzles to games and new experiences. I make sure dogs get the mental stimulation they need to feel satisfied and balanced. Whether your dog is high energy or prefers a slower pace I’ll taylor their day to the unique needs. I am attentive and committed to treating your pup like one of my own with lots of love gentle structure and constant updates to keep you in the loop. I am available everyday, from 6am to 5pm (sometimes even until 8pm). My Corgi is friendly and is also ready to play (if your dog wishes to). I follow what you indicate and do what’s best for your Pup. I knos how to read dog’s body language and is ready to make them feel loved. I am attentive of what your Pup puts in their mouth, the environment they are walking around, the noises… anything that might cause trouble.

Caroline was amazing! My cat’s quite shy and she did everything to make her feel welcomed, including just sitting around and keeping her company every time she visited (even when my cat didn’t make an appearance). Made me feel a lot better knowing my cat was in very good hands, I would 1000% book her again in the future!!

Natalie was did some drop in visit with my babies for me and she was amazing!! 🥹 Our dog Thunder can be really shy and nervous and she took the time to make sure that he was comfortable with her and went potty each time! She fed our kitties and even cleaned up the mess from our special needs boy trying to eat! (He gets kibble everywhere). Constant pictures were sent which was gave me such peace of mind that our babies were well taken care of. Natalie even went above and beyond and did some of our dishes! We’re so looking forward to continuing to work with her! We have a 4 day housesitting job booked for the last week of the month and we couldn’t feel more at ease that she’ll take care of our babies the way we would. Thank you Natalie❤️❤️

Lexy was amazing! Our kitties LOVED her. Even our shy boy warmed right up to her. Lexy was a pro at providing meds and all care necessary to our kitties. I would recommend Lexy to anyone who has kitties that love some affection and or have any medical needs. She’s the best!

Samantha was great! On the last day of our trip our rascal pups got all muddy in the yard and she helped clean them up and make sure our home wasnt too dirty when we got back. We didnt ask, she was just helpful and thoughtful without a word or hesitation. Awesome!

Tiantian was absolutely wonderful! I am so extremely grateful to have had her watch my little old lady pup while I was away. She was extremely punctual, compassionate, and attentive. I got stuck in the northeast due to a blizzard and she was so accommodating and willing to do 4 more visits that were not originally scheduled. Her flexibility was the reason my pupper was cared for and comfortable during all of the craziness. I got home this evening and the house was tidy, my pup was asleep, and I felt so relieved. I would 10000% rebook and recommend that you do as well!!!!

This was our third time booking Ariana for drop-in visits, and she continues to be amazing! Nickle and Dax are always so comfortable with her, and we have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in such caring and reliable hands. She’s communicative, dependable, and always sends the sweetest updates and photos. We’re so grateful to have found her and will absolutely keep booking with her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
