“Leslie is great! She checks in on my cat when I am out of town. Making sure she gets her meds, food, and a clean litter box. I definitely recommend her to look after your pets!”
“Karen and Matt are great people. They watched Bruno while I was gone. They communicated well, informed, and updated me. They were kind, loving and gave lots of attention to my dog. I highly recommend them. Thank you!”

“We’ve used Piper several times now, and she’s absolutely wonderful! She’s kind, reliable, and really pays attention to our dogs and their needs. We just adore her and couldn’t ask for a better sitter!”

“Jazmyne was fantastic! I booked her to check in on my four cats for a couple days and am happy I did. She was kind, communicative, willing to take on the challenge of feeding my monsters wet food (they are spoiled and will only eat their food if I prepare it a certain way), spent time playing with them, and left my home nice and tidy. Additionally, she was able to make my grumpy Siamese comfortable enough to run on his cat wheel! I will 100% be booking with her from now on.”

“Andrhu was so kind and flexible. When access to the house was unavailable, at my poor planning, he was incredibly understanding and accommodating. It is more appreciated than he may know. He was very thorough as well during his drop in visits for our 2 pups.”

About: Hi, I’m Molly! I’ve had a lifelong love for dogs and spent many years caring for two of my own who I was lucky enough to love all the way into their old age. That experience taught me how special the bond with a dog is and how important it is to know they’re in good hands when you’re away. I’ve also become the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, who trust me to care for their dogs when they’re traveling or busy. I treat every pet like they’re part of the family and always aim to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Since I work from home much of the time, I’m able to provide plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship so your dog isn’t left alone for long periods. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, or spending time keeping your dog company, I focus on providing calm, attentive care. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and happy to follow your pet’s routine so they feel relaxed while you’re away. You can also expect regular updates and photos, so you always know how your pup is doing. I’m happy to help with dog walking, drop-in visits, puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with specific routines or care instructions. I’d love to meet you and your dog! I work from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any specific care requests. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is safe and happy. I always recommend a meet-and-greet first so both you and your dog feel completely comfortable.
“I admit I had separation anxiety leaving my two elder cats due to all the extra attention they received during the pandemic! This was my first trip since end of 2019 and Susan (at the last minute) came to my rescue after a relative had to cancel pet sitting. Susan came on time twice a day, sent pictures daily, and kitties looked happy upon my return. Thank you so much for your time and care. Much appreciated!!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
