About: I’ve shared my life with both cats and dogs for as long as I can remember, but my real journey in animal care began in 2019 when I started volunteering at a local animal shelter. There, I made it my mission to ensure every animal received thoughtful, compassionate care — from feeding and grooming to walks, enrichment, and gentle socialization. Since 2023, I’ve been pet‑sitting for a variety of pets. My care includes feeding, administering medications, and providing both physical exercise and mental stimulation tailored to each pet’s needs. I’m certified in Pet CPR and Pet First Aid through PetTech, giving you added peace of mind that your pets are in safe, capable hands. I am currently volunteering at Metro Animal Services every Wednesday from noon - 3pm, hoping to get more experience within the animal care industry. In the meantime, I should be able to provide walks, daily visits and even overnight stays so long as the location is within the Pierce area. “Karinne watched one of our 10 months old puppies (husky/lab mix) for us named Marlow, for 3 days. We requested visits 3x a day (feeding, walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks). She took care of him during some pretty hot summer days and made sure he ate ice cubes, doggy ice cream, and was entertained inside during the hottest parts of the day. She even made sure to move the fan closer to his dog pen to make sure he had enough ways to cool down in between visits. Karinne sent me texts w/ pictures and videos of my pup throughout the stay (even on walks). She also paid attention to his bowel movements and tracked things just in case he had any digestion issues (we had recently changed his food). I had a family member at home during the whole time who was caring for a sick family member upstairs so she also told me that Karinne followed all of my directions and showed up during the requested times. We own 2 dogs and having Karinne watch over our boy dog at home made him comfortable and anxiety free. He can't go to doggy camp because he is not neutered at this time and has a heart murmur. Karinne made our time away from home worry free knowing our pup was in good hands. I will use her services again. Thank You!”

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of fur babies since I was the age of 14! I’ve had to watch friends, neighbors and family’s fur babies while they were gone. I love animals and it’s great to meet and connect with all of them. It makes my heart so happy that they all relied on me to take care of their fur babies just like my own. Special experience: I’ve had to deal with one of our family dog with diabetes and having to regulate that with special foods, exercise, and medication. Also has experience with giving pills; crushed, whole with food, specialty diet, pill pockets, etc. I’m currently working full time as a CNA. I’m graduating at Pierce college and trying to save money for Nursing school that’s coming up around the corner that is here soon enough!!
