“I can’t say enough good things about Nicole! She is incredibly reliable—always on time (usually a few minutes early), and I’ve never once had to worry about last-minute cancellations or no-shows. What really sets her apart is how thorough she is. She always sends adorable photo updates during every walk, lets me know how much water my pup drank, if he went potty, and any funny or noteworthy moments. Working with Nicole has given me so much peace of mind. Leaving my young puppy home alone used to stress me out constantly. Now I head to work knowing he’s getting love, exercise, fresh air, and safe, attentive care. If you want someone who treats your dog like their own and gives you true peace of mind, look no further. 5 stars aren’t enough—Nicole is a 10/10! Highly, highly recommend. Thank you for everything you do! 🐾❤️”

I am very reliable with feeding schedules, medications, and updates so you can feel fully confidnet you pet is in good hands! Pet care fits into my routine by being something I attentively prioritize and plan around. I structure my schedule so I can give pets full attention during visits and walks. “Priscila was an absolute lifesaver! I had a last-minute trip come up and needed someone to watch my two dogs, Mocha and London, on very short notice. She stepped right in without hesitation and took fantastic care of them. Both of my dogs are very attached to their routine, and Priscila made sure they stayed happy and comfortable the entire time. She sent regular updates and cute photos, which put my mind at ease while I was away. They clearly felt safe and loved with her. Priscila is professional, reliable, and genuinely cares about the pets she watches. I would trust her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great dog sitter!”

“Mikaila was awesome. I didnt worry one time about my cats while I was away. She is trustworthy. She was good with my cats and even got my shy kitties to come out to say hi.”

About: Hi! I’m an experienced pet lover who worked at a pet store for a year and has spent years dog sitting and walking for friends, family, and neighbors. I’m comfortable with different personalities, routines, and energy levels. I’m reliable, patient, and treat every pet like my own. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident while you’re away! Pet care is a central part of my daily routine since I currently pet sit full time. I plan my days around each pet’s schedule, including walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins, ensuring they get consistent attention and care. I tailor my care to each pet’s needs and routine. For house sitting, I keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal schedule, including feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets are fed, have fresh water, get exercise or bathroom breaks, and feel cared for while you’re away. During dog walks, I focus on safe, engaging walks that match your dog’s energy level. I always prioritize safety, communication, and making pets feel relaxed and happy.
“Our dogs were super happy being tended to by Brianna. She’s very reliable and communicated with us on every visit which we appreciate so much. We loved getting pictures and updates. We would highly recommend her to care for your fur baby.”

“Thank you Dorothy for caring for my beautiful precious cargo. He is out of sight when people come over but obviously Dorothy’s gentle demeanor and compassion empowered Basil to come out of hiding. Dorothy was very communicative and I would hire her again and again Thank you so much Dorothy for making me feel at ease and content that Basil is in the best hands…”

About: Back in high school I would pet sit for any of my neighbors or friends that needed their pets looked after while they were away -- ranging from dogs to cats to bunnies and sometimes fish. When I was younger, my mom was a pet sitter and would bring me along to help care for and look after the animals and I loved every minute of it. She’d walk me through the tasks the client required and made sure everything was taken care of before leaving. As well as this, I’ve always had a dog or cat growing up and currently have a dog and 2 cats at home that I absolutely love and care for. Recently I have watched some of my friends pets while they were away on vacation as well. I am currently only working a part-time job Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays so I am open the rest of the week to take care of your pets! For pet safety in my client’s homes I take the necessary precautions outlined as they see fit for their pet(s) whether the pet has a tendency to knock things down or gets into things they aren’t supposed to as well as follow any other house rules while I'm there that have been discussed with the clients.
About: I currently have two Maltese and have been a devoted dog owner for almost 20 years. One of them was a rescue with an unforgettable personality, which only strengthened my love and appreciation for animals. Dogs hold a special place in my heart, and I treat them with the same care, attention, and affection that I would give to family. I genuinely enjoy meeting and interacting with dogs and often find myself stopping to say hello to a pup and their owner during my day. Whether your dog prefers a leisurely walk or a more energetic run, I am happy to accommodate their needs. Safety is always my top priority, and I believe dogs deserve a walker who is fully attentive and present. When your dog is in my care, they will have my complete focus and attention. Professionally, I am a nurse, a role that has strengthened my sense of responsibility, compassion, and attention to detail. In my personal time, I love running and spending time outdoors. Combining my passion for an active lifestyle with my love of dogs makes this an ideal opportunity for me, and I would be honored to care for your furry family member. I'm currently working part-time and headed back to school. I am open from afternoon through evenings and weekend walks. I can't stand being in the house so you could find me out walking or running often. I might as well pick up your furry friend along the way! I am comfortable taking your friend on a walk, run, or just playing at home. I am only comfortable with letting them out unleashed if it is a fenced in area. On walks, I must have a leash for maximum safety. No running loose, please!

I provide a clean, safe, and cozy environment where they can relax and feel at home. Pets get plenty of supervised playtime, walks, and attention throughout the day. I follow their regular routines as closely as possible—whether that’s feeding schedules, medication, or crate time—to reduce stress and keep things familiar. In Client’s Home: When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize keeping their environment stable and routines consistent. About: Hi, I’m Sydnee! I have been around animals my entire life and have been caring for them on my own since I was around 10. Whether your pup needs a power walk to burn off steam, a ball thrown in a park, or someone to check in for potty breaks and cuddles, my top priority is to make sure your furry family members feel safe, loved, and completely at ease. On the weekends, from morning to night, I am available to drop in to check on your animals, play with them, and feed them. I am also available to take your pups on a walk or to a nearby park to play fetch! I offer drop in visits and walks that cater to all energy levels, breeds, and sizes. When your dog is on a walk with me, I remain hyper aware of our surroundings to keep your pup safe and relaxed while we are out. For drop in visits, I handle everything from food and water top offs to medication management. I also make sure to prioritize time for quality play and affection. While your fur baby is in my care, you can always count on open, consistent communication from me, including fun photo updates!
About: I’ve shared my life with both cats and dogs for as long as I can remember, but my real journey in animal care began in 2019 when I started volunteering at a local animal shelter. There, I made it my mission to ensure every animal received thoughtful, compassionate care — from feeding and grooming to walks, enrichment, and gentle socialization. Since 2023, I’ve been pet‑sitting for a variety of pets. My care includes feeding, administering medications, and providing both physical exercise and mental stimulation tailored to each pet’s needs. I’m certified in Pet CPR and Pet First Aid through PetTech, giving you added peace of mind that your pets are in safe, capable hands. I am currently volunteering at Metro Animal Services every Wednesday from noon - 3pm, hoping to get more experience within the animal care industry. In the meantime, I should be able to provide walks, daily visits and even overnight stays so long as the location is within the Pierce area. Let me know if this schedule fits best for you and we can schedule a "meet and greet". While I can only allow services within your home due to having dog reactive huskies I will ensure that just like your pets, your house is properly cared for by keeping up with necessary chores and providing clean spaces upon return.
“I admit I had separation anxiety leaving my two elder cats due to all the extra attention they received during the pandemic! This was my first trip since end of 2019 and Susan (at the last minute) came to my rescue after a relative had to cancel pet sitting. Susan came on time twice a day, sent pictures daily, and kitties looked happy upon my return. Thank you so much for your time and care. Much appreciated!!”
About: I've been around dogs since I was young and playing with them makes my heart happy. Please help me out with being homesick from home! I am free every Tuesdays and every other weekend. Feel free to hit me up anytime and I can adjust to your availability! Thank you! I usually make the furry friends smell me first so they'll get used with my scent and ask the owner if I could pet them!
“Jess was awesome! Great communication and was able to come a day ahead of time for a meet and greet. I will 100% be booking Jess again in the future. Her partner Shaquir was also helping out during her visit and getting set up on Rover as well. I would absolutely recommend either of them to anyone!”

Jessica is amazing and our three cats love her!!! She is very communicative and clarified care instructions to make sure the cats got everything they needed. Even our very shy cat warmed up quickly to her. She also sent lots of great photos and videos. Will definitely rebook!

Tiantian was absolutely wonderful! I am so extremely grateful to have had her watch my little old lady pup while I was away. She was extremely punctual, compassionate, and attentive. I got stuck in the northeast due to a blizzard and she was so accommodating and willing to do 4 more visits that were not originally scheduled. Her flexibility was the reason my pupper was cared for and comfortable during all of the craziness. I got home this evening and the house was tidy, my pup was asleep, and I felt so relieved. I would 10000% rebook and recommend that you do as well!!!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
