About: Your dog is SAFE, I am RESPONSIBLE and your dog is FAMILY, to me!!! I am physically fit, full of humor and just waiting for a dog or dogs to care for. I have a cat but he is not interested in outside adventures as he just sleeps, lol I am semi retired so I am flexible. When I'm not at the gym, I walk different dogs at my condo's, just for fun--honestly! I can provide references as well. Your dog is my "child", while in my care. I take this job/responsibly very seriously, which you will soon find out! We will play, run, and walk and quickly develop a love for each other!!

About: Pets have been my life ever since I was five years old. I wasn't a caretaker at that age, but I've fostered a close connection and understanding towards pets ever since. As I got older, my responsibilities grew in kind, and I became much more involved in the day-to-day care of dogs and cats. I've been fortunate to be a part of six dogs lives, and each have brought different temperaments, attitudes, and energy levels. Four of the six were rescues, so I understand the patience and attentiveness needed to properly address their needs and quirks. I also helped raise a 10 week old puppy into adulthood, so I am very familiar with what it takes to handle the stubbornness and energy of a young pup. While it's been some time since my cat has passed away, I likewise share a similar understanding to their needs and socialization. It requires a different approach than a dog but I am happy to adapt to the pet at hand and ensure they receive the best care possible. I have returned from a term of service abroad in the Peace Corps, and am currently searching for employment as I settle back in the states. I will be living in Washington for the time being before I set off to grad school. As such, my schedule is fairly open for dog walking and check-ins. Some of my fondest memories abroad was walking around the countryside in my spare time, so I'm excited to continue that here with some new friends! I will ensure that the pets' needs are addressed in full with the client before I take on the service, and adhere to the directions advised. I cannot currently board pets at my home, but I am happy to check in on pets whilst abiding by the rules of my client's homes.

About: Life has always meant enjoying dog relationships. Dogs visiting here at Twin Spruce Cottage are treated as if they are my own, enjoying a home setting & an attentive human. My initial posting with Rover.com was years ago. At that time circumstances changed so it wasn't until this last summer of 2025, that I happily began to board dogs again. I was raised to understand dog behavior and to be comfortable around all types of dogs. Our last dog was 110 lbs of gorgeous (& alpha) Flatcoated English Retreiver. He passed at 14. Now retired full time, I volunteer with dogs when I have the opportunity. I understand how to identify dog behaviors & work with them. I was a volunteer at a canine rescue program from 2001 through 2016, working both in the facility and fostering dogs who were waiting placement. I am capable of handling all sizes of dogs & willing to adjust to the individual needs of your dog. I have a dog friendly yard and do walks each day to keep them busy. There are comfy, upholstered large dog beds to lounge on and toys for play. I also am available for dog walking near me in Skyway WA. Unfortunately, dogs with special needs, unspayed females or dogs who require medication be given are not accepted. I am retiree who walks daily ~ without my own dog these days. Dog walks are provided in daylight hours and are available by appointment. Schedule availability varies. I have a fenced yard which is dog friendly with room to run, lots of shade trees & some artificial turf developed especially for dogs. When in the house no dogs on furniture or beds but comfy dog beds are waiting. Dog guests who are boarding are walked 45-60 minutes per day which is included in daily rates. Your dog will be the only dog in my care while boarding > unless your family has 2 dogs you wish to board. There is a maximum of 2 dogs in care. Daycare is available. About: I have taken care of dogs for most of my life, as my family has always had multiple pets. Around 2017 while I was still in high school I started to care for my friends, families, and neighbors pets. I’ve been taking dogs on walks, caring for cats, house sitting and doing general pet care ever since then. I worked at a doggie daycare and boarding facility for a year and now I work at a vet clinic! My job is my biggest passion and I have learned so much. Animals are one of my favorite things, so I’d love to help care for yours! I work part time currently and my schedule changes frequently. I have some say within reason on when in a week I work so if you need specific days/times just let me know. If you are ok with flexibility on scheduling then I am a good fit for you! I try to treat your animal exactly how you would! If they need multiple bathroom breaks I’m there. If they need rigorous play I’m there. If they want to just hang out and cuddle? Sign me up!

About: I've taken care of my own dogs since I was around 14, and I dogsit a family friends big dogs. Having stubborn dogs has led me to have alot of patience and quick with reflexes. Gaining experience with bigger dogs that can be seen as aggressive or scary has helped me learn to be more calm and careful. Per care for me helps me also exercise too! I love going on walks with my dogs and it gives them proper outside time, instead of just putting them out back. I will ensure that I can be on alert for bathroom during the night, ensuring that they feel safe with me as well. Gaining trust is # 1.

About: I've been animal lover my entire life, and I've been taking care of animals just as long, from watching relatives pets to petsitting for neighbors, and even now working at a pet boarding service. The only pets I currently own are a lovely torbie calico named Stella, a peach-faced lovebird named Tar, and a small tank of fish, which means that I have PLENTY of love to offer your pets ♥️. My experience with animals covers many pet types and needs, including senior dogs needing medications and grooming, puppies needing basic training, shy cats, and even baby birds, so I'm willing to work with just about any animals situation. I currently work 4-5 days a week in the afternoon-evenings at a pet boarding facility, with Wednesdays and Saturdays consistently open and other days varying. On the days I am scheduled, I am generally available before (10:30am-1pm) or after (after 10pm) work for walks/drop ins, and will accept overnight sittings on a case by case basis. I follow any pet care instructions provided to me as close as possible, to avoid interrupting the pets schedule when they're likely already stressed. I can also send pictures and/or updates on any pets at the owners request!

About: For 2 years I worked as a veterinary assistant and after moving to Pullman to continue my education in animal care I gained experience in grooming, boarding and elderly care. I have just moved to Renton and am in-between jobs. I use rover as a second job when I do have a job but as of right now I am open for care fulltime. Often times owners will provide me with a strict set of guidelines to be followed with there pet. I will always follow these to a T as owners know there pet best. About: Hello, I’m Jan! As the dog mom of two precious high energy dogs , I believe that a tired dog is a happy dog! ( & happy owner ) i would love to give your pup the perfect mix of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection while you are busy or away. If your dog is a high energy pup who loves a long walk & a game of fetch or a senior dog who prefers a gentle sniff and walk to explore the neighborhood, I am available to tailor every outing to their unique pace and personality. I am a NICU nurse who works long shifts and completely understands the trouble of leaving your dog alone for a while and would love to help others with that burden & dog parent guilt :-) I have a predictable work schedule up to 6 weeks in advance which makes it easy to work around other people’s schedule! I enjoy spending time outside ( even in the rainy season ) so I’m available pretty much all day on my days off from work! I personally have reactive dogs so safety is always my absolute priority. During walks I keep the dog on a secure, standard leash (no retractables for safety) and maintain full situational awareness of our surroundings. I never allow strange dogs to approach. For house visits, I double check that all doors and gates are securely locked when entering and leaving, and I always ensure your pet has fresh water and a safe space to relax before I depart. As a NICU nurse I am able to stay calm and act immediately In the rare event of an emergency My first step is to secure the pet to prevent further risk or injury. You will immediately be contacted as well as your preferred veterinarian. If it is a time sensitive issue, I will contact Rover's 24/7 Trust & Safety Support team for immediate backup and vet guidance while keeping you updated every step of the way.
