About: As a lifelong animal lover, I share my home with two Huskies, Thor and Bird, along with two cats. Growing up around a wide variety of animals gave me hands-on experience with diverse breeds and temperaments. Additionally, my father is a veterinary surgeon with over 50 years of experience, which instilled in me a deep respect for animal health, safety, and proper care protocols from an early age. Highly flexible availability for in-home care, house sitting, and local meet-ups. While I cannot accommodate boarding in my own home due to my resident pets, I am fully available to travel to you. Message me directly to coordinate scheduling, logistics, and care instructions. For your convenience and peace of mind, I am available to provide care directly at your home or arrange meet-and-greets within the Maple Valley and Renton areas. To ensure a seamless experience, we can discuss specific scheduling, location details, and care instructions via Rover chat.
“Lillia is super responsible - she responds to messages very quick and calls my number when she has questions when walking dog. She also plays with my dog in the backyard when my dog is not willing to walk :) Overall pretty great experience for me and my dog!”

“Bella & Marcus made Bunker feel right at ease and they were timely and prompt for his walks. They exceeded our expectations with playing with him in the backyard to get him comfortable. We appreciate Bella and Marcus greatly.”

“Beth is great with Niko! She came over and met him the weekend before and did such a great job making him feel comfortable. After his first walk, Niko was happy and very content. Beth is super flexible and great to work with!”

“Daniel has been super responsive and he asked great questions during the meet and greet. He definitely knows how to take care of animals. We appreciate that he took on the job to walk our dog last minute.”

“I’ve used Megan many times. She has great communication, is knowledgeable about animals and cares about your pet. I have a young puppy that she’s taken on numerous walks and she has been patient and helped him learn good habits. Megan then gives me great tips on how to continue to help my pup.”

“Jenna was so great to work with and very flexible with the scheduling. Jenna accommodated the requests as Po (my pup) was a little shy to walk. Will definitely use Jenna’s services in the future.”

About: Hi there! I’m a passionate dog owner and lover who knows firsthand just how much your pup means to you, because mine mean everything to me. With my own dog at home, I understand the importance of trust, routine, and genuinely connecting with every dog I care for. I’m active, outdoorsy, and especially great with high-energy dogs who need more than just a quick potty break. Whether it’s a brisk walk through the neighborhood or a drop-in visit to break up their day, I bring the same enthusiasm and attentiveness every single time. I’m a details person. Every dog is different, and I truly mean it when I say no instruction is too small. Have a pup with food allergies, a specific leash routine, or certain triggers I should know about? Tell me everything. The more I know about your dog’s quirks, preferences, and needs, the better I can care for them exactly the way you would. Here’s what you can count on from me: • Reliability - I show up when I say I will, every time • Attentiveness - I pay close attention to each dog’s mood, behavior, and individual needs • Communication - Expect updates and photos so you always know your pup is happy and thriving • Detail-oriented care - Your instructions won’t just be noted, they’ll be followed to the letter • A dog-first mindset - Your dog’s comfort and safety are always my top priority I’d love to meet your furry family member! Feel free to reach out to schedule a meet-and-greet. I always recommend one before our first booking so your dog and I can get acquainted on their terms. I work from home full time, which means I have a flexible schedule and can be fully present for your pet’s care. I prefer at least a week’s notice before booking to make sure I can give your pup the attention they deserve. My attention to detail means every instruction you give me will be followed carefully and consistently. Before any booking, I encourage you to share any triggers, fears, or allergies your dog may have, no detail is too small. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my first priority, and I treat every home and every pup with the same respect and care I’d want for my own dogs.

About: Thanks for considering us to care for your small dog. You can be sure that he/she will be treated like a part of our family and will be loved and well cared for while you are away from home. We LOVE dogs. I sing and talk to pups that have separation anxiety and have found that helps them warm up to me and ease their worries. I will send you lots of pictures and videos. We are available to set up FaceTime so you can see and talk to your pup while away. ***I prefer weekend drop offs and pick ups between 8am to 10am or 6pm to 10pm. Weekdays are flexible.*** *All dogs must be current on vaccinations and flea preventive. Please provide proof of vaccinations either with a hard copy or a photo through email.* *All dogs must be non aggressive. No exceptions.* I am home much of the time during the week. My husband has a quiet home office. Dogs are welcome to come and go from my husband’s office if they want a quiet break or a change of scenery. Dogs can go outside in our fenced backyard for potty breaks as often as they would like. I generally let them outside, regardless, every 2 hours. We have a fully fenced backyard so they get to run, sniff, and explore off leash. They will be supervised by an adult during backyard fun time. We have a variety of fun dog toys and treats. You are welcome to bring your pup's favorite toys or lovies but we can provide those if you forget or would prefer not to. Our home is 2400 square feet. The downstairs is mostly hardwood floors with rugs and the living room is carpeted. They have full access downstairs. They are welcomed on furniture and there are plenty of nooks and crannies for nap time. My husband or I will be home most of the time to care for your pet. We are usually gone no more than 3 hours. Please send me a message with any questions or concerns and thank you for considering our family to care for your pet! ***If my profile shows that I am unavailable or booked during your needed dates, please message me. I may have an opening.*** ***Independently insured through Pet Sitters Associates*** There is usually at least one adult home during the work week. Dogs are let outside for exercise and potty breaks as often as needed. We occasionally have family outings on the weekend. We generally are not away for more than four hours. I have a fenced back yard. An adult is outside with dogs at all times during potty breaks and exercise. I put a baby gate on the front door for the duration of your pet’s stay with us.

About: I've had cats and dogs most of my life and love spending time with them. I currently share my home with two cats and love running and hiking with my "grand-dog". I'm currently working as a paraprofessional in an elementary school, allowing me plenty of time before and after our late starts and early releases. This also gives me lots of opportunities to sit during the summer and during school vacations. When visiting your pet, you can expect me to be accountable, respectful and caring, putting your pets needs first and foremost. Earning an owner and pets trust is very important to me.
About: I have a small dog of my own and used to take care of a sibling’s dog. I’m lovable, attentive to needs, and caring. I had cared for my own dog for twelve years before she passed away. I cared for a sibling’s pet for about a year, making sure he was groomed, healthy, and happy. I’ll care for your pet as if it’s my own and I’ll make sure your pet gets the care that they deserve. I see pets as friends and family and I’ll make sure they get treated as such with love, patience, compassion, and respect. Pets give me joy and I am honored to be able to spend time with them and give them all that they deserve. Your pets will be safe, happy, and healthy in my presence. I currently work part-time as a barista and part-time as a DoorDasher. I fit pet care into the gaps of my work life. I make sure pets are well taken care of. I care for pets in my home and client’s homes by making sure I leave the home better than what it started and make sure pets are more than satisfied.

Molly is punctual, connected easily and quickly with my boy, and is easy to communicate and work with. She hasn't had any issues walking my Irish Wolfhound, so she can be trusted to handle giant breed dogs. Super happy with her services so far and plan to continue working with her.

Abbi has been one of the most reliable and attentive people I’ve encountered on Rover. She has developed a great rapport with my dog, Charlie and I know that he will always be safe and well exercised after a walk with her. I’d definitely recommend her as a fantastic dog walker!

Daniel was so prompt and enthusiastic. He clearly cares about taking great care of my elderly dog. Asked lots of really pertinent questions. Helped me get to know the Rover app and system (it was my first time using the app and I misunderstood some stuff). Looking forward to having extra help taking care of my dog.

We are so lucky to have found Alison. Right away we could tell she was someone who “gets” dogs- identifying and accommodating their individual quirks, needs, etc. You can always tell when someone is passionate about dogs, and it’s obvious this is her calling! It’s a huge relief to be able to trust that our girls are in the best possible hands.

Jessica is very professional and did great with our dog. Our dog can be nervous with new people or strangers, and Jessica's calm pressence really put him at ease. She followed all of our instructions perfectly and provided great notes quickly after the walk. Will def be going with Jessica for our future dog walking and pet sitting needs.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
