About: I've basically been taking care of dogs all my life! I can't even count how many I've had in my life. More recently, I've taken on fostering, accommodating dogs with health issues, which I've been doing for ten years or so. I have two frenchies I take care of at home, one that's basically a large, lazy cat, and another that's small and rambunctious. I also walk and dogsit twice a week for a friend of mine who doesn't have the ability to do so frequently. I give them attention when they're needy, dry them off after a walk if it's raining, or snuggle up with them if they're feeling a little more cuddly.

About: Hi everyone! I grew up with cats and dogs and am no stranger to all there needs, I regularly sit for my friends and family and can handle all of your pet sitting needs. My job is Monday thru Friday 7-3 so I'm available between 6-7 am and after 3 during the week and any time on the weekends My dog goes to the dog park almost daily during the week and is no stranger to going on hikes on weekends, she is very good with other dogs and would never turn down a play mate.
“We’re so happy that Natalie was available to check in on our pets while we were out of town. She was on time every day and met the needs of our Pups. We will definitely seek her out for our future needs.”

About: I really believe the world is better with animals, and they deserve nothing but love—because that’s all they have to give us. I know every dog requires different treatment and attention, and every animal is unique. My husband Marcus and I are hardworking, kind, and huge animal lovers with lots of love to give. We both enjoy being outdoors and are happy to stop by your house to give your pet some food, scratchies, and snuggles—or take them out for fresh air, whether that’s throwing a ball or taking your older little guy on a slow, senior-friendly stroll. I grew up surrounded by animals and animal lovers. When I was younger, I trained my German Shepherd puppy to master all her tricks, and when she got older and became incontinent due to her elderly age, I provided hands-on care—changing her diapers, cleaning up after her, and helping her with stairs and jumps she couldn’t manage anymore. It was heartbreaking, but she taught me that we have to enjoy every moment with our babies while we can. I’m typically the go-to person for friends and family when they need someone to look after their animals while they’re away— I think it’s because they know I'll be equally obsessed and caring with their pet as they are. I take pride in providing loving, responsible care that feels just like home. I am a newly retired professional dancer. My days as of now are wide open as I make this transition into the next phase of my life! Unfortunately, my apartment isn’t suitable for overnight stays, so I’m currently offering only day visits and walks. When I go to a client's house, I make sure doors, windows, and gates are closed and watch out for things pets might get into—like plants, small objects, or foods that aren’t good for them. Hazardous stuff like cleaning products or meds are kept out of reach. I’ll never let a dog off-leash unless it’s in a securely fenced area because I understand how one wrong move can lead to a lost or hurt animal.
“I have been absolutely blown away with Caitlin!! She responds in minutes, she’s extremely attentive and absolutely wonderful. I think my dog gets excited when he sees our suitcase because he knows he gets to see Caitlin! If anyone is looking for a Rover, this is a one stop shop and I continue to book her time after time!! Thank you Caitlin! We feel so at ease with you watching over the cats and our Golden!”

About: I have a deep sense of responsibility when it comes to caring for pets, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’ve been watching friends’ dogs for over 5 years and also have a 3-year-old cat myself. I understand how stressful it can feel to leave your pet behind, so I aim to create a calm, loving, and safe environment while you’re away. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, walks, or just quiet companionship, I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. I work from home most days and that allows me to visit your home at your desired time. If needed, I’m available as early as 6 AM and as late as 8 PM. I have a separate space in my house where I can watch pets if needed. I have a large, fenced backyard for dogs and cat trees with toys for cats.
“Will definitely be booking her again. She’s very communicative and asks lots of questions to gain understanding to best take care over our babies(kitties). She came and met them before had and tried to bond with them but made sure to be patient and give them space.”

“Jessica is a great dog sitter! She was able to help us last minute and during Thanksgiving! She consistently updated us with pictures of Bella. She kept Bella engaged and gave a lot of attention.”

“Jenna was amazing!! I was very impressed with our initial meet and greet. She took lots of notes and asked lots of questions. She was on time and updated me every visit and sent lots of pictures! My dog loved her visits. Will definitely use her again!!”

“Grace has been fantastic with my variety of pets! I feel so much better while traveling knowing they are in good hands. I would definitely recommend Grace to friends and family.”

“Lauren was fantastic. Great communication during the booking process and throughout the entire time she looked after Riggins. He was well looked after and she spent lots of time with him. Would absolutely book Lauren again in the future.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Elizabeth is great! I had to go out of town last minute for a funeral, and Elizabeth was instantly responsive when I initially booked just a couple days before flying out. My old dog also has some special needs that changed a little bit last minute and Elizabeth didn’t miss a beat. I was so relieved that my last minute requests were so easily handled by Elizabeth to better assist my dog who required meds on a schedule, a cone that needed to be taken on and off every visit, and dealing with my unique living situation expertly as well. Elizabeth is a 5/5 star sitter, and I will be coming back for future pet-sitting needs. Thank you!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Daniel was very patient and communicative with me while taking care of my cat (Johnny). Johnny has some relatively new heath issues, and he's not really excited about taking his medication and he can be a bit onery about it. All things considered I think things went well.”

About: i’ve always had a pup in my life. From chihuahuas and pitbulls to my shiba of 5 years i’ve had a diverse experience with all pets and understand they require unique attention I work remote so we usually step out every 2 hours for fresh air and some sniffs to help keep us balanced and regulated through the day my pets have access to a first floor balcony and we live in a secure community with a dog park that’s just a short two minute walk away
“I'm very pleased with Ellyanna's care so far; she's patient with my VERY shy cat and respectful of his space. Great communication, and I come home to a well taken-care of cat -- you can't ask fore more. Highly recommended!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Fairwood
Our cats loved Shuyao! She was so great at connecting with our cat who is really shy and doesn’t eat treats from strangers and somehow Shuyao was able to give her treats and make friends with her! Shuyao sent us really sweet pictures of them and took great care. Thank you again, Shuyao!!

Bella and Marcus went above and beyond watching our cat Gatsby. They made sure to not only do all of the daily tasks, but to also spend quality time with Gatsby and make sure he was entertained while we were away. They even showed genuine concern with the WA air quality and how it was going to affect Gatsby. I will definitely be sticking with them from now on when it comes to drop in visits for Gatsby.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
