About: As a lifelong animal lover, I share my home with two Huskies, Thor and Bird, along with two cats. Growing up around a wide variety of animals gave me hands-on experience with diverse breeds and temperaments. Additionally, my father is a veterinary surgeon with over 50 years of experience, which instilled in me a deep respect for animal health, safety, and proper care protocols from an early age. Highly flexible availability for in-home care, house sitting, and local meet-ups. While I cannot accommodate boarding in my own home due to my resident pets, I am fully available to travel to you. Message me directly to coordinate scheduling, logistics, and care instructions. For your convenience and peace of mind, I am available to provide care directly at your home or arrange meet-and-greets within the Maple Valley and Renton areas. To ensure a seamless experience, we can discuss specific scheduling, location details, and care instructions via Rover chat.
About: I’ve been a dog owner my whole life. I have two Goldendoodles and have been pet sitting for the past few years at my home. I work from home, take the dogs for walks several times per day. I can give meds, care for puppies or senior pups. Would prefer if your dog gets along well with other dogs and kids and if they are fully potty trained. May teens participate in pet care and help with the dogs. My oldest is in the vet assistant program at RTC. We love dogs and will treat them like our own. We treat the dogs like our own. They can get on furniture and sleep in our room or if you prefer, they can sleep in a crate. There are other dogs here so they need to get along with other dogs. I can also care for your dog in your home if needed with advance notice.
About: We’re a reliable, animal-loving mother-daughter team who genuinely enjoy caring for pets. We know every pet is unique, so we take the time to learn their routine, personality, and favorite activities to help them feel comfortable while you’re away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, or extra cuddles, we’ll provide attentive, loving care and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have complete peace of mind. We look forward to treating your pets like part of our family! My mom and I are available throughout the summer as well as after school and weekends during the school year. We love to check in on pets and walk them together. Every pet deserves to feel safe and understood. I take the time to learn their routine, respect their boundaries, and build trust through calm, reliable care. My focus is on creating a stress-free experience so both you and your pet can feel confident while you’re away.
About: I've basically been taking care of dogs all my life! I can't even count how many I've had in my life. More recently, I've taken on fostering, accommodating dogs with health issues, which I've been doing for ten years or so. I have two frenchies I take care of at home, one that's basically a large, lazy cat, and another that's small and rambunctious. I also walk and dogsit twice a week for a friend of mine who doesn't have the ability to do so frequently. I give them attention when they're needy, dry them off after a walk if it's raining, or snuggle up with them if they're feeling a little more cuddly.
“Janine did a fantastic job caring for Wally while we were traveling! She was incredibly attentive, communicative, and patient throughout the entire process. Wally can be a little cautious and takes time to build trust with new people, and Janine was so understanding and willing to work with him at his own pace. Her patience, kindness, and dedication gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in great hands. We truly appreciate the care and effort she put into making Wally feel comfortable and safe. Janine is wonderful, and we will absolutely continue using her services. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter!”

“Jennifer was very attentive to Luna and provided excellent drop in visits! She was consistent with timing, was an excellent communicator and was patient with Luna, who was shy. We came home to a happy act and I attribute that to friendly company each day while we were gone.”

“Courtney is the best sitter I have ever encountered on and off app She is amazingly helpful Kind and compassionate when things come up She Goes above and beyond every single time There’s no questions that she not only cares for animals but also their human companions and for that I am so grateful to her She made us feel secure leaving our fur babies with her and also gave us peace of mind knowing we will come home after a long trip to our house in one piece As long as she’s on here and I need her a sitter I won’t be using anyone else”

“Kristen was phenomenal and on point! She took fantastically good care of my goofy little babies and was in constant communication which provided so much relief during a really stressful trip. An absolute rockstar! Thank you so much!”

About: [Preferred name: Keith , He/They] I’ve helped take care of my family dogs since age 10, most being larger dog breeds (german shepherd, huskies, pitbull). From puppy chaos, to older dog care I’ve seen it all. Willing to accommodate for whatever needs- All dogs have their unique quirks and even if its tucking them in at night, Im up to it! I currently am on medical leave; disability causes physical limitations that are manageable through monitoring/breaks(impossible in food service). My schedule is rather free because of this, allowing me to plan events around pet care rather than the opposite, allowing me to prioritize their care! Best Contact Hours: 8am to 8pm (PT) I remain available for contact through message or call consistently! If desired updates during care may be sent, whether requested beforehand or spontaneously. [including pictures & videos of course!!] I have reliable transportation and am also willing to allow pets in my vehicle. Of course accidents occur, for such I have a waterproof pet blanket to prevent damage of any kind! [accidents or extra cleaning will never bring complaints/charges as it is expected with pets]
“I always know my pets will be cared for when we book Natalia. This was our first drop-in visit with her and it went great. I was confused on the booking process and she was helpful and accommodating. My pets all love her!”

About: I have two big dogs of my own so I have plenty of experience with larger breeds. I’ve had puppies and kittens and grew up with lots of pets! I also cat sit and dog sit on occasion for my family! I work Part-time so I have plenty of time to care for your animals. I walk my own animals daily in addition to go to the gym. Stamina won’t be a problem no matter the energy level of your pet. I have two large dogs who run around constantly, I’m very good with clear commands and communication with them. I also take care of my families cats who can be temperamental which taught me a lot of patience when caring for animals as well.

“Isa took great care of shredder. He loves to see her so much! She is great with dogs and has a real passion for animals. I always feel good about Isa taking care of shredder”

About: With over 15 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats, my family member including a 7 yr old malamute husky mix and a 9 yr old cat both are rescues. I could provide reliable, attentive, and personalized care tailored to each pet’s unique needs. I’m experienced with high-energy dogs, as well as senior pets that require a calmer and more patient approach. I prioritize safety, routine, and emotional well-being. Whether it’s structured walks, feeding schedules, or administering basic medications, I make sure your pet stays comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. I’m also attentive to subtle changes in behavior or health, which helps prevent issues early. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision. As a pet owner myself, I treat every pet like real people and provide regular updates with photos. I currently work remotely, so my schedule is very flexible throughout the day and week. I’m able to adjust my routine to match your pet’s needs, including walks, feeding times, and companionship. I provide a safe, clean, and calm environment for all pets in my care. I closely follow each pet’s routine and instructions to ensure consistency and comfort. I always supervise interactions, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure pets are never left unattended for long periods. In your home, I respect your space and maintain a clean and secure environment while caring for your pet. I also provide regular updates with photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away.
About: I have had dogs and cats my entire life growing up. In my college career, I volunteered/worked at several animal shelters; I also have experience with exotic pets! These opportunities taught me how to physically handle pets, but also learn common behaviors. I am intuitive and think that is helpful when dealing with animals. At this point in my life, I have almost 10 years of animal experience. I’m currently a student working from home, so I have an abundance of free time to help watch your pets. My degree is in animal biology! My work can be done anywhere with wifi, so I am able to keep an eye on the pets the full-time I am scheduled. I understand dog and cat body language well. I know when they’re scared or uncomfortable, or when they’re excited and happy.
About: I have volunteered as a foster dog mom and I have a clean fenced front yard. My BFF is a Vet and I have great references. I have 5 acres along the river and we take daily walks on private trails. Small dog paradise. I currently have 4 of my own. An older Frenchie and three small chihuahuas. We are early risers and the little dogs usually follow me around the garden as I do chores. Then we go for a walk along the river. It’s a private trail and the dogs are extremely safe. Fully fenced area around my home for the little dogs and I take them out on leashes for walks a few times a day. The dogs love to be in the garden with me.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Maple Heights-Lake Desire
Maya was wonderful. She was really nice and easy to talk to when we did the meet and greet. We needed to find someone on short notice since the person we used in the past was no longer on here. So we were happy that she was available and lived close to us. She did a great job and made our two kitties feel comfortable while we were away for the weekend. I would book her again for any future trips we may have.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
